Effect of Lateral and Posterior Placement of Single-Bundle and Double-Bundle ACL Reconstructions on Tibial Internal Rotation During Single-Leg Landing (전방십자인대 한다발재건술의 후외측다발 재건 및 두다발재건술이 외발착지 동작 시에 경골내회전에 미치는 영향)

  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries are treatedwith surgical reconstruction. Although ACL consists of two functional bundles, only the anteromedial bundle is surgically reconstructed, and the effect of the reconstruction of the posterolateral bundle is unknown. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of the posterolateral bundle and the effect of double-bundle reconstruction during single-leg landing. A 3D dynamic knee with various ACL reconstructed models was created using MRI, and single-leg landing motion was simulated using in-vivo human experimental data. The results showed that the lateral shift of the tibial insertion of the anteromedial bundle and the posterolateral bundle of the ACL constrain the tibial internal rotation more efficiently than a single anteromedial bundle can. In addition, double-bundle ACL reconstruction is less sensitive to inaccuracies in the tibial tunnel placement.

  • 복합분자펌프는 기존의 터보분자펌프 turbine blade에 spiral grooved를 추가하여 초고진공(10-8 Pa)에서 저진공(330Pa)까지 넓은 압력범위에서 사용할 수 있고 이 펌프를 사용함으로서 완전 oil free한 진공시스템을 만들 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다. 특히, 회전체를 비접촉으로 지지하는 자기베어링 방식을 적용함으로써, 진동은 극히 작고 베어링수명은 길면서 중저진공에 대한 배기속도가 크고 임의의 방향으로 접속이 가능하여 반도체 및 디스플레이 제조 공정과 같은 첨단산업의 다양한 분야에 쉽게 적용되고 있으며, 그 적용 분야와 시장은 계속 성장하고 있다. 고 진공과 배기 속도의 달성을 위해서, 고속으로 이동하는 격면과 기체분자를 충돌시켜, 기체 분자를 원하는 방향으로 유도하는 작동원리를 가지고 있다. 특히 공기분자의 밀도가 매우 낮은 희박가스 상태에서 고속 회전하는 blade로 공기분자를 쳐 내면서 작동됨으로써 날개의 상하 압력차에 의한 공기력보다도 날개의 고속회전이 매우 중요시 되고 압력으로는 10-1 Pa 이하의 분자영역에서 그 성능을 최고로 발휘 할 수 있다. 이러한 복합 펌프의 주요 장점은 다음과 같다. 1. 10-8 Pa (10-10torr)~10 Pa (1 torr) 까지 넓은 영역에서 배기가 가능하다. 2. 탄화수계의 대하여 높은 압축특성을 가지고 있고, 윤활유를 사용하지 않으므로 얻을 수 있는 진공상태가 고청정하다(oil free). 3. 정밀 5축제어 자기베어링으로 완전히 부상하여 회전함으로서 마모가 없고 진동이 최소화하였을 뿐만 아니라, 또한 운전음도 거의 없다. 4. 설치조건에 제한이 없고 고장이 거의 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 복합분자펌프의 개발을 위하여, 상기 연구기관에서 수행된 내용을 소개하고 있으며, 펌프 시스템의 기본 설계 및 자기베어링 시스템의 설계 결과 및 수치해석 결과를 나타내었다.

  • Owing to the increasing worldwide interest in green technology and renewable energy sources, flywheel energy storage systems (FESSs) are gaining importance as a viable alternative to traditional battery systems. Since the energy storage capacity of an FESS is proportional to the principal mass-moment of inertia and the square of the running speed, a design that maximizes the principal inertia while operatingrunning at the highest possible speed is important. However, the requirements for the stability of the system may impose a constraint on the optimal design. In this paper, an optimal design of an FESS that not only maximizes the energy capacity but also satisfies the requirements for system stability and reduces the sensitivity to external disturbances is proposed. Cross feedback control in combination with a conventional proportional-derivative (PD) controller is essential to reduce the effect of gyroscopic coupling and to increase the stored energy and the specific energy density.

  • These days, the quality of goods is required to improve in the process of manufacturing the semiconductor through the short working hours and clean transportation. The non-contact transport device using magnetic levitation can be a solution in the manufacturing process. The non-contact transport device, using electromagnetic actuation, is the system that can actually transport them by only using attraction force from the electromagnetic source without authentic contact. Moreover, the system using electromagnetic force has a substantial number of benefits ranging from unrestricted design to unlimited expansion. Especially, the price is competitive. The non-contact transport device, using electromagnetic force, has another merits in controlling by giving the same amount of attraction force to ferromagnetic body. By controlling the currents given to coil, the operator is able to decide the direction of the transportation. In order to design the optimal system, we implemented five different things such as the presence of the links below the electromagnetic, the electromagnet changes due to coupling method, the change according to the thickness of the links below electromagnet, due to changes in between electromagnetic distance direction, and the size of the current. Through simulations and the optimum design, it seems to control easily and figure out the exact size of power. It might definitely be the non-contact transport that can sharply reduce tiny scratches and particles in the process of manufacturing the semiconductor.

Automatic control of coagulant dosage on the sedimentation and dissolved air flotation(SeDAF) process for enhanced phosphorus removal in sewage treatment facilities (하수처리시설에서 인 고도처리를 위한 일체형 침전부상공정(SeDAF)의 응집제 주입농도 자동제어기법 검토)

  • To remove phosphorus from the effluent of public wastewater treatment facilities, hundreds of enhanced phosphorus treatment processes have been introduced nationwide. However, these processes have a few problems including excessive maintenance cost and sludge production caused by inappropriate coagulant injection. Therefore, the optimal decision of coagulant dosage and automatic control of coagulant injection are essential. To overcome the drawbacks of conventional phosphorus removal processes, the integrated sedimentation and dissolved air flotation(SeDAF) process has been developed and a demonstration plant(capacity: 100 ㎥/d) has also been installed. In this study, various jar-tests(sedimentation and / or sedimentation·flotation) and multiple regression analyses have been performed. Particularly, we have highlighted the decision-making algorithms of optimal coagulant dosage to improve the applicability of the SeDAF process. As a result, the sedimentation jar-test could be a simple and reliable method for the decision of appropriate coagulant dosage in field condition of the SeDAF process. And, we have found that the SeDAF process can save 30 - 40% of coagulant dosage compared with conventional sedimentation processes to achieve total phosphorus (T-P) concentration below 0.2 mg/L of treated water, and it can also reduce same portion of sludge production.

Study on the Efficient Operation of Public Wastewater Treatment Facilities in Bukpyeong Industrial Complexes (북평산업단지 공공폐수처리시설의 효율적 운영에 관한 연구)

  • 북평산업단지내 공공폐수처리시설(6,500톤/일)의 가동률은 30% 이하로 매우 저조하며, 폐수배출업체는 29개소로 그 수가 적어 배출오염부하량 비율에 따른 처리비용이 일부 업체의 경우 과도하게 부과되고 있는 실정이다. 입주업체 운영비용 부담을 저감하기 위해 해당 지자체에서는 운영비용의 65% 이내에서 일정금액을 지원하고 있으나, 동일업종에 대한 원인자비용부담금 비율의 경우, 동해시 A업체는 30.18%로 타 지역 B업체의 4.83% 보다 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 지자체 지원금을 제외한 순수 처리부과금의 경우 A업체가 2배 이상 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이에 북평산업단지 공공폐수처리시설의 전체 운영비 절감을 위한 효율적인 운영방안 마련이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 북평산업단지내 공공폐수처리시설의 운영 및 관리현황을 검토하여 효율적인 운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 현재 운영시설에 대한 현황을 파악하고 관련 법률 및 계획등을 검토한 결과, 북평산단 지역은 하수처리 구역이 아닌 공공폐수처리구역으로 산업폐수의 공공하수도처리시설 연계처리 지침에 따라 인근 공공하수처리시설과의 연계처리가 불가한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 환경부에서는 가동률이 저조한 처리시설에 대해서는 시설개선을 통한 방안을 제시하고 있어 현 처리시설의 공정개선을 통한 운영비 절감방안이 가장 효율적인 것으로 판단되었다. 이에, 현재 생물 반응조 후단에서 운영 중인 가압 부상조에 새로운 배관을 설치하여, 최초 침전지 유출수를 가압부상조 처리 후, 생물 반응조로 유입하고, 최종 침전 후 총인을 제어 할 수 있는 약품투입 시설을 설치하는 공정 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 이처럼 생물 반응조 이전에 가압부상조를 설치하고, 후단 가압 부상조 미운영시 공정개선 전·후에 따른 총 슬러지 발생량은 24.2%, 탈수케익 처리비용은 27.6% 절감할 수 있는 것으로 산정되었으며, 전체 처리시설에 대한 총 운영비 감소율은 13.4%로 분석되었다.

  • In general, railway system uses wheels so detecting speed by tachometer. However, LRT(Light Rail Transits) stands out recently as alternatives transportation, and besides of that Maglev trains are emerged as an alternative means of transportation. Maglev operates above certain heights caused inability of the measurement by tachometer which used to detect speed of wheels. Velocity Detection Signal Device of Train Control System applied in "Train Control System Project of Pilot Line Construction for Urban MAGLEV Train" which is prepared ahead of opening in 2013. This paper, therefore, explains the function and operation principal of Velocity Detection Signal Device, and suggests installation method of velocity detection loop installed around the track.

  • Dynamic interaction analysis between actively controlled Maglev and bridge is carried out. For this, dynamic governing equation for 2-dof Maglev vehicle and optimal feedback control scheme of DOFC are developed. And then the dynamic effect of the 1st natural frequency of bridge, vehicle/bridge mass ratio and damping coefficient of bridge to the both of air-gap variations of UTM-01 maglev vehicle and bridge center maximum displacement response are investigated. From the results of numerical simulation, it is found that the 1st natural frequency of bridge, vehicle/bridge mass ratio and damping coefficient of bridge does not affect greatly within design velocity of the vehicle.

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve tracking performance for an EMS system using variable structure control. To improve current control of characteristics and to reduce chattering, a reaching law is applied. A disturbance observer using sliding observer is designed to compensate the influence of disturbances. This observer compensates modelling uncertainty and steady state error as well as external disturbance. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by experiments
