Method: From December 5 to 23, 2005, self-reported questionnaire data were collected from 990 Busan City elementary school students of the 5th and 6th grades. The questionnaire consisted of questions about their characteristic features in playing Internet games based on the K-scale developed by KADO. The data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 10.0 program. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation, $X^2$-test, ANOVA analysis and Scheffe test were used to analyze the data. Results: 1. With regard to the level of Internet game addiction, 71.2% of the students responded that they were general users, and 6.3%, at high risk for addiction. Mean scores were 103.3 for the high-risk group, 77.7 for the potential risk group, and 55.86 for the general user group. The total mean was 63.74. 2. Mean scores for parent-child attachment levels were 97.1 and 99.6 for father and mother, respectively. Conclusion: These results suggest that a collaborative program to educate and counsel parents to increase the parent-child attachment level needs to be established in protection and recovery programs for Internet game addiction.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and influencing factors of the attachment-oriented caretaking behaviors among the mothers with infants. The total number of 204 mothers participated in this survey as subjects. They all were breast-feeding mothers who had their infants joining in the semi-final round of a healthy breast-feeding infant contest. The data were collected from July 14, 1999 to May 19, 2000. And the data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 10.0 version. The result of this study was as follows ; 1. The mean ages of the subjects were 29.5 and 95.6 percents of them were no-job housewives. 57.8% of them were normal delivery. And the mean months of the infants were 6.2 and the male infants were 57.4%. The first born babies were 62.3%. 2. The mothers are affirmative enough with their attachment-oriented caretaking behaviors (the total mean was $3.58{\pm}.631$). In general, the mothers showed very attachment-oriented caretaking behaviors, but the points that indicated "recording the development characteristics of the infant and discussing them with husband" were very low(score $2.79{\pm}.982$). 3. There are Significant differences in caretaking behaviors of the mothers according to their ages(F=3.497, p=.017), the degree of morning sickness(F=2.633, p=.050) and the birth order of their infants(F=4.854, p=.003). The older mothers and mothers who experienced the less morning sickness showed the higher scores of the attachment-oriented behaviors. The mothers who experienced the more deliveries showed the higher scores of the attachment-oriented behaviors. Accordingly, the above result suggests that the systematic and practical nursing intervention to encourage the attachment-oriented behaviors is essential to the younger, primipara mother.

That is the basic frame of class flow. Learning materials included various plans and reports necessary for learning activities and they are prepared in details so that they can be play the role of textbooks in regular curriculum. Third, evaluation of developed program was executed by a 5 point Likert scale survey on 13 HE experts on two aspects of program development process and program development results. In the evaluation of development process, mean value was 4.61 and index of content validity was 97.4%. For development results, mean value was 4.37 and index of content validity was 86.9%. These values showed that validity in the development process and results in this study was highly secured and confirmed that PPEP based on HE was appropriate and valid to enhance parent qualifications of high school learners.

The subjects or this research were 204 students(male:98, female:106) who were currently enrolled at three coeducational universities and one women's university located in the metropolitan area. The instruments used for this study were Attachment and Conflict Scale by Song(1986) and Im(1988), and Parent Caregiving Attitudes Scale by Shin(1993). The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson's correlations and stepwise multiple regression. The major results of this study were as follows: First, it turned out that a significant gender difference in attitudes toward parent caregiving exists. Female college students had more positive attitudes toward parent caregiving than male college students. Second, the variables explaining college students'attitudes toward parent caregiving were the extent of attachment with their parents and the experience of cohabitation with their grandparents. The stronger male and female students had attachment with their parents, the more positive attitudes toward parent caregiving they had. In addition, male college students without an experience of cohabitation with their grandparents reported more positive attitudes toward parent caregiving.

The final SEM model fit indices of $x^2$(df), CFI, TLI, RMSEA were met the acceptable criteria of model fitness. In other words, among the goodness-of-fit indexes of the final study model, $x^2=261.075$(p<.001), RMSEA is .082, TLI equals .925, CFI equals .940.
