The Effects of Family Resilience on the positive attitudes toward a Children with Disabilities and Non-Disabled Siblings (장애아동 가족의 가족탄력성이 장애아동에 대한 비 장애 형제 자매의 긍정적 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of family resilience on the positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings. For this purpose, a survey data was collected from 110 siblings with disabled children. The general characteristics of the parent questionnaire, and the general characteristics of a child with a disability, non-disability sibling's general characteristics, be receptive attitude, consisted of family resilience, and the data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t test, ANOVA and regression analysis by SPSS 18.0. Structural equation was used for black AMOS18. The results of the measurement analysis were summarized as follows: 1. family resilience showed positive correlation with positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings. 2. as a result of regression analysis for find out influence of family resilience on the positive attitude of non-disabled siblings, family resilience was statistically significant influence factors, which 50%, 50% explanatory power. In conclusion, these results reinforce the important of considering family context as a contributor to the positive attitudes toward a children with disabilities of non-disabled siblings, so it could be suggested that family resilience needs to be improve.

Influential Factors for Career Identity of Adolescents in Community Child Center: An Application of Latent Mean Analysis and Focusing on Gender Differences (지역아동센터 이용 청소년의 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 변인 분석: 성별에 따른 잠재평균 및 경로계수 크기 차이 검증)

  • The current study examined the latent mean analysis and path analysis comparison between male and female groups in the structural relationships among parent-child conversation, peer attachment, satisfaction in teacher at a community child care center, ego-resiliency, self-esteem, and career identity in adolescents who attend a community child care center. For this purpose, 438 adolescents who participated in the 4th(2017) questionnaire in the 2nd child panel of the community child care center were used. From the analysis results, first, peer attachment and satisfaction in teacher at a community child care center increased ego-resiliency and career identity, but parent-child conversation did not predict ego-resiliency and career identity. Peer attachment and satisfaction in teacher at a community child care center was fully mediated by ego-resiliency and self-esteem to career identity. Second, in the latent mean analysis, male students showed significantly higher latent mean values in ego-resiliency and self-esteem than female students, while female students showed significantly higher latent mean values in parent-child conversation than male students. Third, multi-group analysis revealed different paths to career identity between the genders. Peer attachment can buffer the effect of ego-resiliency and self-esteem on career identity of male students, but satisfaction in teacher at a community child care center buffers more on the ego-resiliency of female students. The results of this study suggest that social support for enhancing ego-resiliency and self-esteem is needed to encourage career identity, and that gender needs to be considered.

A Exploratory Study on the Influential Factors of Resilience in Female High School Students (여고생의 회복탄력성 영향요인에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • This purpose of this study was to survey state-anxiety, depression and resilience in female high school students and to identify factors influencing resilience. Data were collected 177 female high school students. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe's test, Stepwise Regression Analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The mean score of state-anxiety was 39.56±11.37. There was statistically significant difference in state-anxiety on variable such as academic achievement, satisfaction of school life, parental rearing attitudes, satisfaction of family life. The mean score of depression was 7.53±8.52. There were statistically significant difference in depression on variables such as relationship with school fellow, satisfaction of school life, parental rearing attitudes, satisfaction of family life. The mean score of resilience was 98.36±17.76. There was statistically significant difference in resilience on variables such as academic achievement, parental rearing attitudes, Resilience was negatively correlated with state-anxiety. Resilience was negatively correlated with depression. Self-esteem was positively correlated with depression. Factor influencing resilience were state-anxiety, high academic achievement, which explained 49.6%. Findings provide useful information for further studies in female high school students. Further research with careful sampling will be needed to enhance the resilience of male and female high school students,

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the structural relationships among parents' and teachers' autonomy support, children's basic psychological needs, and children's participation in decision-making. Methods: The participants were 687 elementary school students (5th and 6th grades) in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed using SEM. Results: First, parents' and teachers' autonomy support had a direct effect on children's participation in decision-making. Second, parents' and teachers' autonomy support had an indirect effect on children's participation in decision-making through the children's basic psychological needs. Third, children's basic psychological needs mediated the effects of parents' and teachers's autonomy support and children's participation in decision-making. Conclusion: The findings suggest the importance of the mediating effect of children's basic psychological needs, between parents' and teachers' autonomy support and children's participation in decision-making. The findings can be used as an important basis for prospective research and practices for improving children's participation in decision-making.

  • 개념 계층(Concept Hierarchy)은 데이터베이스 분야에서 사용되는 대표적인 배경 지식(Background Knowledge)으로써, 데이터베이스에 내재되어 있는 구조적인 정보, 데이터의 분포, 영역전문가(Domain Expert)에 의해 주어지는 외부 지식 등이 반영되어 있다. 개념 계층의 특성상 부모(parent)-자식(child) 관계가 있는 두 노드가 있을 때, 한 노드의 값으로부터 다른 노드의 값을 추정할 수 있다. 이 추정된 값을 기대치라고 하고, 한 노드의 값으로부터 추정된 기대치와 실제치가 상당히 상이한 값을 보이는 노드가 있을 때, 이를 흥미롭다(interesting)라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 아직까지 개념계층상에서의 흥미로운 부분 탐색에 대한 연구가 없었으며, 흥미로움(interestingness)의 척도(measurement)에 대한 연구로서는 신뢰도(confidence), 리프트(lift), 컨빅션(conviction)등이 있다. 그러나 이런 흥미도의 척도에 관한 연구도 연관규칙에 한정되어 이루어졌으므로 개념계층상의 데이터에 적용하기 위해서는 약간의 수정 및 새로운 정의가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 데이터의 특성에 따른 개념계층이 존재할 때, 이를 이용하여 기대치와 실제치가 상이한 흥미로운 부분을 발견하고자 하며, 이를 위하여 개념계층이 존재할 때, 이를 이용하여 기대치와 실제치가 상이한 흥미로운 부분을 발견하고자 하며, 이를 위하여 개념계층상에서의 흥미도의 척도를 제안하고 흥미로운 부분을 탐색하는 방법을 기술하고자 한다. 또한 데이터마이닝의 결과인 연관규칙을 개념계층에 적용하여 연관규칙을 통해 얻어질 수 있는 기대치를, 지지도(support), 신뢰도(confidence), 리프트(lift), 컨빅션(conviction)등의 관계를 통해 다양한 방법으로 모색해본다. 이 연구에서 제안하는 이러한 개념계층상의 흥미로운 부분의 탐색은, 전자 상거래에서의 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)나 틈새시장(niche market) 마케팅 등에 적용가능하리라 여겨진다.

  • The purpose of this study is to research on how the types of father's communication were perceived by the adolescents and how the school adjustment of the adolescents according to the communication between father's and adolescents appear. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the school adjustment showed difference according to the general characteristics (adolescent's age, father's jobs) of the students surveyed. Second, the statistic correlation appeared in the relationship of the style of communication between father and adolescents and the school adjustment of the adolescents.

Structural Relationships among Variables Influencing Adjustment to School Life in Children from Multicultural Families - Daegu Gyeongbuk Area- (다문화 가정 아동의 학교생활적응 관련변인들 간의 관계구조분석 - 대구.경북지역을 중심으로 -)

  • This study investigated the structural relationships between parental attitude, social support, self-esteem, and levels of adjustment to school life of children from multicultural families. Participants were 177 elementary school children from multicultural families in 1st to 6th grade of elementary school in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area of South Korea. The major findings were as follows. 1) Parenting attitude, social support, and self-esteem had direct effects on levels of children's adjustment to school life. 2) Parental attitudes and social support had direct effects on children's levels of self-esteem. 3) Parental attitudes and social support also had indirect effects on levels of adjustment to school life of these children. This study suggested that various concern and supports from multi level of society are required to improve adjustment to school life in children from multicultural families.

Parent Attachment, Peer Support and Behavior Problems of Middle School Students (중학생의 부모에 대한 애착, 친구지지와 행동문제)

  • This study was to investigate the relationship between parent attachment, peer support and behavior problems of middle school students. The subjects were 591 male and female students in the first and third grade of the middle school and their mothers in Busan. The instruments used for this study were Inventory of Parent Attachment Scale, Peer Support Scale and Behavior Checklist for Adolescents. The results were as follows: 1. The first grade students had stronger attachment on father and mother than third grade. The third grade students had perceived peer support more than first grade. Female students had stronger attachment on mother and perceived peer support more than male students. And there was no significant sex difference in attachment on father. In the case of female students, internalizing and externalizing behavior problems increased grade. But, in the case of male students, there was no grade difference in internalizing and externalizing behavior problems. In the case of first grade students, there was no sex difference in internalizing behavior problems. In the case of first grade students, males had more externalizing behavior problems than females. But in the case of third grade students, females had more externalizing behavior problems than males. 2. As parent's education level was higher, students had stronger attachment on parents and perceived more peer support. As family income was higher, students had stronger attachment on father and perceived more peer support. 3. In case of female students, parent attachment and peer support were correlated negatively with internalizing and externalizing behavior problems. Factors of parenting behavior associated with family support of college freshman (일 여대신입생이 인지하는 부모 양육행동이 가족지지에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study was carried out to investigate parent behavioral factors associated with perceived family support of college fresh-woman, in part to find the way of successful college life. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were given to 256 freshman enrolled in college, between 2weeks may and June 2009. The questionnaire items general characteristics included religion, college entry form(high school graduation/other college expierence), allowance, college life satisfaction, self rated health and family support, parenting behaviors. Parenting behavior consists of affection, reasonable explanation, abuse, excessive interference, supervision, negligence, inconsistencies. The dependent variable is perceived family support, independent variable mother and father behaviors that consisted of above 8 spheres. Results: For the statistical analysis, the t-test was used for the family support and parenting behaviors according to the general characteristics. The influence elicited by the instrument of parenting behavior was determined using multiple regression under the control of general characteristics. The influencing factors are mothers's affection and father's supervision, neglection and affection. Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is important father's behavior to their children especially they are regarded as father's neglect is not support them. We suggest that, for father's behavior strategies should be developed to perceive their family support.
