Efficient video matching method for illegal video detection (불법 동영상 검출을 위한 효율적인 동영상 정합 방법)

  • With the development of information and communication technology, the production and distribution of digital contents is rapidly increasing, and the distribution of illegally copied contents also increases, causing various problems. In order to prevent illegal distribution of contents, a DRM (Digital Rights Management)-based approach can be used, but in a situation where the contents are already copied and distributed, a method of searching and detecting the duplicated contents is required. In this paper, a duplication detection method based on the contents of video content is proposed. The proposed method divides the video into scene units using the visual rhythm extracted from the video, and hierarchically applies the playback time and color feature values of each divided scene to quickly and efficiently detect duplicate videos in a large database. Through experiments, it was shown that the proposed method can reliably detect various replication modifications.

얼굴 인식 기술의 연구 현황 및 구현 사례

  • 얼굴인식 기술은 접촉에 대한 거부감이나 불편함이 없이 친숙하고 편리하게 사용자를 식별하고 인식할 수 있으며, 부가적인 센서 장비가 필요없다는 측면에서 개인 인증 및 보안 시스템으로서의 활용성이 매우 높다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 장점들을 지닌 얼굴 인식 시스템의 구현 사례를 실시간 얼굴 검출 기술과 특징 추출 기술, 인식 기술로 구분하여 소개한다. 개발된 시스템은 얼굴 검출을 위해서 색상과 에지 성분을 이용하는 복합 알고리즘을 적응하여 실시간 얼굴 탐지를 가능하게 하였고, 추출된 사용자의 고유 얼굴 정보는 최신 인식 기법의 하나인 Support Vector Machine으로 분류, 인식된다. 또한 시스템의 성능을 테스트하고, 실용화 가능성을 모색하기 위하여 하드웨어 임베디드 시스템의 설계 및 구현과정과 조명 및 환경 변화에 따른 시스템의 성능 변화를 객관적으로 검증하기 위하여 다양한 변화 조건을 고려한 한국인 표준 얼굴 데이터베이스를 구축 과정을 소개한다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a fire detection system using context-aware sensor. In existing weather and based on vision sensor of fire detection system case, acquired image through sensor of camera is extracting features about fire range as processing to convert HSI(Hue, Saturation, Intensity) model HSI which is color space can have durability in illumination changes. However, in this case, until a fire occurs wide range of sensing a fire in a single camera sensor, it is difficult to detect the occurrence of a fire. Additionally, the fire detection in complex situations as well as difficult to separate continuous boundary is set for the required area is difficult. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for real-time by using a temperature sensor, humidity, Co2, the flame presence information acquired and comparing the data based on multiple conditions, analyze and determine the weighting according to fire it. In addition, it is possible to differential management to intensive fire detection is required zone dividing the state of fire.

  • In this paper, we present two types of vision algorithm that mobile robot has CCD camera. for obstacle avoidance and path plan. One is simple algorithm that compare with grey level from input images. Also, The mobile robot depend on image processing and move command from PC host. we has been studied self controlled mobile robot system with CCD camera. This system consists of TMS320F240 digital signal processor, step motor, RF module and CCD camera. we used wireless RF module for movable command transmitting between robot and host PC. This robot go straight until 95 percent filled screen from input image. And the robot recognizes obstacle about 95 percent filled something, so it could avoid the obstacle and conclude new path plan. Another is complex algorithm that image preprocessing by edge detection, converting, thresholding and image processing by labeling, segmentation, pixel density calculation.

  • In this study, information search methods and user interface types provided to users were investigated for the top 100 e-commerce services selected by Statista and the National Retail Federation. And the characteristics of each type were derived by analyzing the interaction method of the user's manipulation with the visualization elements constituting the interface. The research results are as follows. First, as the information provision method, spread format was more often used as the number and hierarchy of information increased, and drop-down and mega menu methods were used more often as the number and hierarchy of information decreased. Second, as a visual classification method according to the information hierarchy, the background color, font change, and line were often used, and there were many cases where the background color and line were used at the same time. Third, there were various elements such as background color, text color, and line as an interaction method for user manipulation, and two or more of them were applied at the same time the most. This study is meaningful in that it defines the characteristics of each type through the analysis of the types of interfaces for e-commerce information search and items that can be the selection criteria for detailed elements.

  • This study is to improve the design of bus transfer information that can be substantially used. This study has been processed using the following steps. First, I tried to define the information design and way-finding information design. Secondly, I have researched several case studies, and considered solutions. Finally, I evaluated way-finding maps through pair-wise comparisons, and drew needs through an interview. As the result of this research, there were some problems in font size, improper space between letters and non-consistent information. To solve these problems, the information has to be clear using easy symbols to be well-recognized by citizens. Also, the font size needs to be decided by a calculation of minimum legible size of letters. Lastly, a value contrast between a background color and a letter color needs to be applied more than 70 percent for better visibility. The study is expected to be used as a reference which helps informational design to be developed.

  • The purpose of this study is to develope new dental color-space system. Twelve kinds of dental composites and one kind of dental porcelain were used in this study. Disk samples (15 mm in diameter, 4 mm in thickness) of used materials were made and sample's CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ value was measured by Spectrocolorimeter (MiniScan XE plus, Model 4000S, diffuse/$8^{\circ}$ viewing mode, 14.3 mm Port diameters, Hunter Lab USA) The range of measured color distribution was analyzed. All the data were applied in the form of T### which is expression unit in CNU Cons Dental Color Chart. The value of $L^*$ lies between 80.40 and 52.70. The value of $a^*$ are between 10.60 and 3.60 and $b^*$ are between 28.40 and 2.21. The average value of $L^*$ is 67.40, and median value is 67.30. The value of $a^*$ are 2.89 and 2.91 respectively. And for the $b^*$, 14.30 and 13.90 were obtained. The data were converted to T### that is the unit count system in CNU-Cons Dental Color Chart. The value of $L^*$ is converted in the first digit of the numbering system. Each unit is 2.0 measured values. The second digit is the value of $a^*$ and is converted new number by 1.0 measured value. For the third digit $b^*$ is replaced and it is 2.0 measured unit apart. T555 was set to the value of $L^*$ ranging from 66.0 to 68.0, value of $a^*$ ranging from 3 to 4 and $b^*$ value ranging from 14 to 16.

  • In this paper, a new saliency map generation method is discussed which extracts objects effectively using extracted Salient Region. Feature map is constructed first using four features of edge, hue of HSV color model, focus and entropy and then conspicuity map is generated from Center Surround Differences using the feature map. Final saliency map is constructed by the combination of conspicuity maps. Saliency map generated using this procedure is compared to the conventional technique and confirmed that new technique has better results.

  • As the smart media becomes more popular, the demand for high-quality 3D images and depth maps is increasing. However, performance of the current technologies to acquire depth maps is not sufficient. The depth maps from stereo matching methods have low accuracy in homogeneous regions. The depth maps from depth cameras are noisy and have low-resolution due to technical limitations. In this paper, we introduce the state-of-the-art algorithms for depth map enhancement and up-sampling from conventional methods using only depth maps to the latest algorithms referring to both depth maps and their corresponding color images. We also present depth map enhancement algorithms for hybrid camera systems in detail.

Implementation of Image Retrieval System using Complex Image Features (복합적인 영상 특성을 이용한 영상 검색 시스템 구현)

  • Presently, Multimedia data are increasing suddenly in broadcasting and internet fields. For retrieval of still images in multimedia database, content-based image retrieval system is implemented in this paper that user can retrieve similar objects from image database after choosing a wanted query region of object. As to extract color features from query image, we transform color to HSV with proposed method that similarity is obtained it through histogram intersection with database images after making histogram. Also, query image is transformed to gray image and induced to wavelet transformation by which spatial gray distribution and texture features are extracted using banded autocorrelogram and GLCM before having similarity values. And final similarity values is determined by adding two similarity values. In that, weight value is applied to each similarity value. We make up for defects by taking color image features but also gray image features from query image. Elevations of recall and precision are verified in experiment results.
