A number of studies have been conducted on the evaluation of bi-national products, but studies that may be applied in practice are lacking. This study suggests several implications for bi-national products in the sub-market using a more specific approach than previous studies. To this end, this comprehensive comparative study reflects the purchasing routes, product category, and consumers' personal characteristics (regulatory focus, prior knowledge) of bi-national products. Results found the evaluation of bi-national products according to purchase routes showed that consumers in offline stores were more favorable than consumers in online stores. In comparison with product categories, necessities were more positive than luxury goods. On the other hand, according to consumer's personal characteristics, consumers with promotion focus tendency perceived brand preference more highly than consumers with preference focus tendency. Also, it was found that groups with high prior knowledge had a positive evaluation of products compared to low knowledge groups.

This study aims to explain the cause of price differences of bi-national products based on consumer response of product type, distribution channel, and consumer nationality, respectively. Specifically this study investigated whether price discount and distribution channel affect consumer evaluation by luxury and non-luxury product type. In the case of bi-national product toward the non-luxury, price discount had positive influence on preference, regardless of distribution channel. By revealing the influence of price discount on bi-national products on consumer response of product type and distribution channel respectively, the study suggests meaningful implications for the strategic management of bi-national products.

Many studies on the acceptance of multi-national products have made academic contributions by offering various implications. However, there have been relatively few studies on the attitudes and behaviors of multi-national products depending on the purchasing tendency of consumers. The purpose of this study is to investigate how acceptance process of multi-national product, which is high involvement, appears by sorting consumers' purchasing tendency into rational consumption tendency, brand pursuit tendency, and consciousness of other people. Also, in order to supplement the measurement method of existing research, this study sought to analyze the acceptance behavior of consumers more precisely by classifying the situation before and after exposures of multi-national origin information on products. For this, 266 consumers were surveyed and statistical analysis was conducted through structural equation modeling. As a result of the research model, it was found that consciousness of other people has a significant effect on susceptibility and antipathy of multi-national product. In addition, antipathy against multi-national products has more powerful effect than susceptibility.

In order to evaluate the evaluation of bi-national products, this study was classified according to product category similarity. In addition, by comparing the types of stores, we tried to suggest alternatives that can be practically applied to companies producing composite origin products. For this purpose, this study is applied to the analysis of bi-national product by product categories, such as public luxury, public luxury, private luxury, and private necessity, based on the psychological bases of consumers. The types of stores are divided into department store/direct store, outlet/discount store to elaborate measurement. As a result of the verification, it was found that brand evaluation and store evaluation had interactive effects depending on product type and store type. Specifically, in the case of public luxury goods, outlets/discount stores in both brand evaluation and store evaluation showed positive evaluation than department store/direct store. In the case of private necessity, there was no significant difference in brand evaluation, but in store evaluation, department store/direct store was confirmed that they had a relatively positive evaluation than outlets/discount stores. As a result, it was verified that consumers' evaluations can be changed according to the type of sales store for each product.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of national image, brand image, and country of origin on Chinese consumer's purchase attitude and purchase intention of Korean cosmetic products which applied a high and/or convergence technology. The survey was completed by chinese customers and the data is analysis with SPSS 21.0. The results show that national image, brand image, and country of origin image have a positive impact on Chinese consumer's purchase attitude and purchase intention. This results imply that when Korean companies enter into chinese markets, if they perform very aggressive promotion activities on national image, brand image, and country of origin image, they can be successful by transforming positively chinese consumer's purchase attitude and purchase intention of Korean products.

This paper analyzed the impact of nation and celebrity reputation on purchase intention in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan people aged 10 to 30 years were surveyed. The study proved that the national reputation has positive impacts on the purchase intention of Korean products. However, the Korean celebrity reputation has not statistically affected the intention of purchasing Korean products. In other words, it confirmed that the country of origin effect of Korea is affecting purchases of products from the countries concerned. Therefore, based on the country's reputation for Korea in Kazakhstan, it is believed that the promotion activities of Korean products will encourage consumers to make purchases.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of consumer's repurchase intention in the foreign direct sales shopping malls, focusing on the Japanese customers. Research model of the study is composed of seven independent variables (price competitiveness, product diversity, reputation, country-of-origin image, ease of use, delivery service, after service), a mediating variable (trust) and a dependent variable (repurchase intention). The results of this study show that trust is an important factor affecting the repurchase intention of customers. Customers' trust is affected by the reputation, country-of-origin image, ease of use, delivery service, after service. However, price competitiveness and product diversity, which are hypothesized to affect the trust, are not statistically significant. This study will provide a basis for future research on the foreign direct sales area. In addition, it will provide practical information useful in launching and/or operating the foreign direct sales malls.

The number of internet users and the scale of electronic on-line trading are on the increase due to the development of information technology and the internet. The aim of this study was to monitor the accuracy of country-of-origin labels and the indicated contents of meat available by electronic on-line trading by using a structural interview sheet for 100 on-line meat product markets. The result of this investigation showed a 100% level of accuracy for business name and telephone number whereas the company address, meat manufacturer and supplier, and business registration were less reliable. We also investigated the accuracy of site policy, e-mail address, and fax number. The results showed that the accuracy of fax numbers was the lowest. The product name and the kind of meat actually in the product showed a 100% level of conformity, while the price (96.3%), place of origin (93.6%), capacity (90.4%), meat parts (80.9%) and contents of the product (73.4%) showed a relatively low level of conformity. Serious safety issues were exposed by the disturbingly low 20.2% accuracy of indicated expiration dates and 5.3% accuracy of indicated manufacturing dates. To ensure food safety, it is essential to improve consumer understanding and trust regarding food safety through continuous public relations. More education and information are needed to raise consumer awareness of the facts versus myths regarding food safety.
