지난 8월 17일부터 23일까지 몽골건축사협회 주최로 몽골 울란바토르에서 개최된 제30차 ARCASIA 이사회 및 제15차 포럼에 앞서 15일과 16일, 양일간 2009-2010 아카시아 건축상 심사가 이루어졌다. 전체 12개 부문에 대해 우리 협회는 8개 부문, 총 11개 작품을 제출하였으며 4개 부문에서 골드메달을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 다세대주택부문(A-2:Multiple Family Residential Complexes)에서 최삼영(주. 가와 종합건축사사무소)회원의 '용인동백 아펠바움'이, 공공시설부문(B-4, Public Amenity: Industrial Buildings)에서는 최동호(건축사사무소 마당소리)회원의 '주엽어린이도서관'이, 복합용도시설부문(B-6:Mixed Use Developments)에서는 윤세한(주. 해안 종합건축사사무소)회원의 '용산 I PARK MALL'이, 산업시설부문(C:Industrial Buildings)에서는 신춘규(씨지에스 건축사사무소)회원의 '아임삭 오창 공장'이 골드메달을 수상했다. 다음은 심사에 참여한 이근창 국제위원회 전문위원의 심사평이다.

The purpose of this study was to convergently investigate the perception of home-visiting music therapy services. For this, a survey was conducted on 74 persons divided into two groups, which are pre-service music therapists attending the graduate schools of music therapy and professional music therapists with certifications. As a result, first, the awareness of home-visiting music therapy service was lower than that of preexisting home-visiting services, but the necessity and expected effect were similar to them. Second, in the operational plans, there was shown a higher ratio of 40-minute services twice a week held by governmental or public organizations. Third, there were significant differences in subitems of trends and expected effects of the home-visiting music therapy service according to whether or not to hold a certification and to have experiences in providing the services. This study could be expected to provide basic data for the home-visiting music therapy being utilized as a field of music therapy. Based on the study, the establishment of practical service strategy could be suggested.

The purpose of this study is to find out how to develop the related competency by exploring the service convergence experience of social workers in the social welfare field. For this purpose, social workers were organized into focus groups to reflect various fields and experiences of the social welfare, and the focus group interview method was implemented. The results of this study are as follows: First, research participants who are social workers of the field recognized positive effects and experiential limitations in the experience of providing convergent services through collaboration with various professionals. Second, research participants experienced the necessity of convergence services, while being asked for various roles in the extended area. Finally, research participants propose a plan to develop competencies required in social welfare environment where a convergent approach is required. Based on the results of this study, it was prepared that basic data for the development of practical competency in the social welfare field.

본 논문의 목적은 ‘다중 동사성 명사 구문’(Multiple Verbal Noun Construe-tions)의 논항실현 양상을 이론 중립적으로 고찰해 보고, 이 분석을 제약기반 문법 이론인 최근의 핵 심어주도 구구조문법 (Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar)틀 안에서, 특히 다중계승위 계를 가정하는 제약기반 어휘부를 기반으로 형식화해 논항의 실현과정을 기술하고 설명하는 것이다. 우선 일본어의 유사한 현상을 분석한 Grimshaw & Mester (1988)의 격실현 양상에 관한 일반화를 기반으로 한국어 동사성명사구문의 논항실현 양상을 ‘논항전이’ (argument transfer)라는 이론적 장치를 이용해 형식화할 수 있음을 보이고, 동사성 합성명사의 논항구조를 만들기 위해 ‘논항합성’(argument composition)이라는 이론적 장치를 제안한다. 나아가서 다중 동사성 명사구문의 논항실현 과정에서 보이는 겹격표지 현상을 ‘격 복사’(case copying)를 제안해 동사성 명사의 격표지가 합성 명사에서 분리되어 문장단위에서 실현될 때 동일한 격을 복사해 실현한다는 점을 주장하고자 한다. 이 주장을 뒷받침하기 위해 수동과 능동 등 문법기능의 변화현상에서 하위범주화된 요소들의 격변화가 자의적이 아님을 실례를 들어 보여 주고자 한다. 일본어의 경동사 (light verbs)에 관한 분석 인 Grimshaw Meste, (1988) 이래 한국어에서도 이와 유사한 구문에 대한 재조명이 활발하게 이루어져 왔다 (Ryu (1993b), 채희락 (1996), Chae (1997) 등 참조). 한국어에서 ‘하다’와 동사성명사(verbal nouns)가 결합하여 이루어진 ‘동사성명사구문’ (Verbal Noun Constructions)에 대한 기존의 논의는 대부분 하나의 동사성 명사가 ‘하다’나 ‘되다등 소위 문법기능을 바꾸는 ‘경동사’들과 결합하여 복합술어가 되는 문법적 현상에 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 그와 비교해서 동사성 명사의 어근이 두 개 이상 결합하여 동사성명사들끼리 합성명사(compound nouns)를 이루고 그 동사성 합성명사가 문법기능의 변화를 바꾸는 ‘경동사’와 결합하여 이루어진 복합술어에 대해서는 논의가 거의 없는 형편이다. 특히 이 지적은 핵심어주도 구절구조문법틀 내에서는 논란의 여지가 없다. 본 논문의 대상은 바로 이러한 합성 동사성명사의 논항구조와 동사성명사에 의해 하위범주화된 논항들의 문법적 실현양상이다.

This study attempted to determine differences between the perceived empowerment level and job satisfaction depending on hairdressers' demographic characteristics and analyze the effects of their empowerment on job satisfaction. For this, a total of 310 hairdressers in Gwangju-Jeonnam and Seoul-Gyeonggi-do were chosen through convenience sampling, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted. The valid 277 copies were used for final analysis. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 15.0. The study results found the following: First, in terms of the subordinate factors of empowerment, the following four factors were found: meaningfulness, self-determination, competence, and impact. Second, depending on demographic characteristics (e.g., age, career, type of beauty salon, job title, punch-in time, monthly pay), a statistically significant difference was found between empowerment and job satisfaction (p<.01). Third, hairdressers' perceived empowerment level had a positive impact on job satisfaction (p<.01). In terms of the empowerment on job satisfaction by sub-factor, 'self-determination' was largest, followed by 'meaningfulness' and 'competence.' Therefore, beauty salon owners need to manage their business more efficiently by converging cosmetology and business management by expanding empowerment among hairdressers properly after recognizing the importance of hairdresser empowerment.

In this study, composite hollow fiber membranes were developed for the recovery of olefin monomers in polyolefin industry off-gases. Polyetherimide (PEI) hollow fiber support membranes were fabricated from spinning solutions containing PEI, NMP and polyethylene glycol (PEG). The influence of dope solution and inner coagulant composition on the permeation properties and structure of hollow fiber supports was examined. PDMS was used as a selective layer and coated on PEI hollow fiber support. The thickness of active layer was controlled by changing coating solution concentration. The permeation properties of hollow fiber supports and composite membranes were characterized with a pure gas permeation test. The optimized composite hollow fiber membrane has $10\;{\mu}m$ selective layer and shows excellent separation performance; the ideal selectivity of olefins over nitrogen is in the following order: 1-butylene (6.4) > propylene (17) > ethylene (97), which selectivity data are similar to the intrinsic olefin/nitrogen selectivities of PDMS. This confirms that the new composite hollow fiber membranes suitable for olefin off-gas recovery has developed successfully.

지난 9월 7일(화) 오후 5시 대한건축사협회 3층 국제세미나실에서는 "제2회 서울국제건축영화제"를 위한 토론의 자리가 마련되었다. 대한건축사협회 서울국제건축영화제 TF팀은 지난해 영화제의 큰 성공을 바탕으로 제2회 영화제를 준비해왔다. 올해 영화제는 11월 11일부터 17일까지 서울 이화여자대학교 이화캠퍼스복합단지(Ewha Campus Complex, ECC)에 위치한 아트하우스 모모 극장에서 열랄 예정이다. 영화제 TF팀은 이번 토론회를 통해 1회 영화제의 성과를 돌아보고 지금까지 준비 진행 상황을 설명하는 시간을 가졌다. 이 자리는 신춘규 대한건축사협회 이사 김형수 대한건축사협회 문화홍보위원장 검 서울국제건축영화제 집행위원장 강병국 영화제 TF팀 위원 그리고 이광모 아트하우스 모모 극장 대표, 그리고 사회를 맡은 한선희 서울국제건축영화제 프로그래머가 참석했다. 서울국제건축영화제의 성공적인 개최를 위해 진지한 대화가 오고간 이날의 토론회 내용을 지상중계한다.

항공기용 복합재료는 여전히 많은 응용의 여지를 갖고 있으나 또한 시급히 해결하여야 할 많은 기술적인 문제점을 갖고 있다. 즉 복합재료 항공기용 구조물은 반드시 인증 절차를 밟아야 실제 항공기에 장착/판매될 수 있는데 수치해석 기법에 의한 구조해석을 거친 기본/상세 설계과정과 성형 제작된 실물 구조물에 대해 가혹환경 조건하(95% 상대습도, 70.deg. C 온도에서 30일간의 방치)에서 설계에서 제시한 최대 하중의 150%를 견디어야 하는 까다로운 full-scale testing 및 각종 복합재료관련 coupon test(표 7 참조)들을 수행하여야 한다. 이와 같은 기술적인 문제점들은 향후 연구결과에 따라 충분히 극복할 수 있으나 이와 더불어 현재 각각의 항공기 제작사가 보유하고 있는 material specification, design manual, process standard 등의 규격이 전세계적으로 통일될 수 있는 제도적인 보완이 뒷받침 된다면 복합재료의 응용도 훨씬 앞당겨질 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

기술의 발전은 새로운 변화를 주도하는 가운데, 단순한 종이 문서를 복사 또는 출력하는 디지털 복합기도 많은 기술의 진보를 통해 획기적인 변화를 거치고 있다. '주변기기'라는 명칭에서 보듯이 단순히 종이에 인쇄만 하는 수동적인 기기에서 네트웍을 통해 통제되거나 입출력 데이타를 생성, 전송, 보관, 폐기할 수 있는 능동적인 지능형 복합기로 진보하게 되었다. 이러한 지능형 복합기는 네트웍을 통해 실기간으로 모든 상황을 바로 확인할 수 있으며 고장이나 소모품 부족 발생이 일어나기도 전에 먼저 감지하여 대응할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 또한 기존 사용중인 기간계 시스템과 능동적으로 연동하여 업무 프로세스의 혁신 등 상상할 수 없는 업무의 변화를 주도한다. 이런 지능형 복합기가 제공하는 "SDK J"는 JAVA 기반의 개발 플랫폼을 제공하여 고객 맞춤형 솔루션을 개발, 적용할 수 있게 되었다. 현재 각 복합기 제조사에서는 다양한 고객 환경에 맞는 솔루션 제공을 위해 솔루션 개발 지원에 주력하고 있다.

복합재료가 점차 최근에 항공기에서 이차적인 구조요소에서 일차적으로 힘을 받는 구조물에 사 용됨으로써 두꺼운 복합재료 구조판과 셸의 정확한 동적, 정적거동을 예측하는 것이 중요한 문 제가 되었다. 특히 전산구조역학의 한 분야로서 복합재료 적층판의 문제는 inhomogeneity와 anisotropy 문제를 가지고 있어서 복잡하며 일차구조 (primary structrue)에서는 100장-200장의 적층도 드물지 않게 볼 수 있어서 정확한 계산을 위해서는 방대한 기억용량과 빠른 계산속도를 요구한다. 그러므로 복합재료 적층판의 거동을 정확하고 값싸고 빠르게 계산할 수 있는 이론과 수치방법의 개발이 중요한 문제이다. 이 문제는 E. Reissner, R. K. Kapania & S. Raciti, A. K. Noor & W. S., Burton, L. Librescu & J. N. Reddy, J. N. Reddy 등에 의해서 review가 행하 여졌고 이 분야의 모든 paper들의 비교적 현재까지 연구동향을 잘 묘사하고 있다. 여러 review paper들이 시간흐름상으로 여러 연구들을 잘 정리하고 있으므로 이 글에서는 논문들을 다시 review하는 것이 아니라 지난 20여 년간 이 분야에서 계속되어 온 연구중 주요한 것을 고찰하고 소개하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.
