  • 지금까지 컴퓨터를 강의실상에서의 교육의 보조 수단만 사용해 왔던 일 방향적인 교육의 제한적 메카니즘이 인터넷을 통한 쌍방향 통신과 공간상의 제약을 뛰어넘은 적극적이고 다양한 교육전달의 시도가 이제 현실화되고 있다. 따라서 첨단 정보통신 기술의 발전과 교육 시스템을 위한 인터넷 등의 네트워크를 기반으로 하는 원격교육에서는 새로운 교육의 변화에 따라 시, 공간의 제약을 벋어난 가상교육 또는 원격 교육을 현실화 할 수 있는 중추적인 기반 구조 및 통합 시스템을 제공해야 하며 이 시스템이 제공하게 되는 중심적인 기능성은 실제 강의실 수업형태와 같은 효과 이상의 교육환경을 제공해야 하는 것이다. 이러한 총체적인 원격교육을 위한 통합 시스템은 다양한 요소들로 구성된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터와 인터넷을 통해 원격 학습서비스를 제공하는 가상스쿨 구축의 기반을 이루는 학습컨텐츠 저작 시스템, 학습자 학습진행 프로그램 둥을 연구, 개발하였다. 또한 XML 에 기반한 SMIL을 멀티미디어들의 통합과 다양한 미디어들의 동기화를 표현하는 기술을 이용하여 표준적이고 확장성이 높은 컨텐츠를 저작툴을 개발하였다.

Internet-based Repair for Aircraft Composites (인터넷 기반의 항공기용 복합재의 보수)

  • An Internet-based software called the Repair Advisory Service (RAS) was developed to assist aircraft composite repair. The RAS takes advantage of the web user interface and provides estimation of the failure loads of repaired composite laminates and Structural Repair Manual (SRM) with search capability. In this paper, a failure model of lap repair is discussed as an example of the modules in the RAS. The model takes into account anisotropy of each ply in the laminate and in the repair ply, and non-elastic behavior of the interlayer between the laminate and the repair patch. Failure loads calculated by the model were compared with test data, and a good agreement was found between the results of the model and the test.

  • As according to utilizing mobile devices, the real time locating system to provide high quality service is required. RTLS based on wireless communication can be damaged from radio shadow areas which guarantee the line of sight. To cope with the radio shadow area, this paper proposes the performance improvement method using assistant tags and a directional antenna based reader. In addition, this paper also provides the design and implementation of RTLS and experiments for performance evaluation. The result shows that a success rate is increased up to 38% and accuracy is a CEP of 1.13 meters.

  • It is difficult to expect the service improvements such as increased number of sailing and making new ship due to financial difficulty this is caused by deterioration of island dwellers. In addition, the safety of ship operation is also a problem with the supply of good sailors difficult problem of low wages and lack of safety working environment. T It is necessary to ensure the introduction of public operating system in coastal passenger shipping business to secure the public and safety. There are many practical constraints but if we obtain public sea ways, it will be possible to improve the operating system through the implementation from a subsidized line and taking off business licenses of an insolvent enterprise by enhancing safety control.

  • In this study, we try to understand the present condition of elderly housing facilities in Contra Costa County, California, USA. We got the basic information of 92 facilities through the interview with the chief of elderly housing department in Contra Costa County, California. In practical way of research, this study bears various components of the elderly housing facilities, which are type of facility, financial aids, type of apartment, and provided living services. The short summerising of researches are; The present conditions of elderly housing facilities can be classified as Independent Living(53), Congregate Housing(23), Assisted Living(33), Dementia Care(12). The financial aid conditions are shown like SSI, HA, HUD. The types of apartment are studio type, 1 bedroom type, 2 bedroom type. These facilities provides meals, housekeeping, transportation, small pets. As a result of studying the present condition of elderly housing facilities in Contra Costa County, we propose the basic statistical report on the most general type of housing, financial aids, type of services that people of the states want to get.

  • In this paper, we have developed a system for identifying pills and providing their information by image processing to assist the health care of the elderly. A wide variety of pills can lead to the difficulty of distinguishing for the elderly at home and results in unusage and abandonment of the pills. To resolve this problem, we obtain images from a camera of a smart phone, extract features such as shape, line and color by image processing, classify pills, and provide information including the name, effect and directions for the usage of the pills.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a crime prevention system through the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The research method went through the double diamond process and discovered the user's needs through the persona analysis. The most representative features are the functions that informs users of the safe and optimal route, checks the presence of streetlights or cctvs in real time to update them, and allows people with similar routs to return home together. It is a function to help safe return home with the help of an autonomous method, and a self-defense function to protect themselves. Therefore, the application presented in this study was intended to be of great help when actually returning home by adding these new functions. In particular, we help users to return home most safely by recommending the best safe route. Through the persona analysis, research method which we had chosen, the needs of users were discovered and implemented in a design that reflected those needs and requirements.

Relationships among personal and organizational communication skills, occupational stress, and patient safety activities of nursing workforce working in the integrated nursing care service ward (간호·간병통합서비스병동 간호사와 간호보조인력의 개인 및 조직 의사소통능력, 직무스트레스와 환자안전활동의 관계)

  • Purposes: This study aimed to identify the relationships among personal and organizational communication skills, occupational stress, and patient safety activity levels of two nursing workforce groups (nurses and nursing assistants) who provide integrated nursing care services. Methodology: The study design is a cross-sectional study. Seventy-one nurses and forty-three nursing assistants working in the integrated nursing care service wards participated in this study. The data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire from June to July 2021. The relationships among the variables were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Findings: Nurses' personal communication skills (r=.294, p=.013), organizational communication skills (r=.408, p<.001), and occupational stress (r=.243, p=.041) were associated with their patient safety activities. However, nursing assistants' personal communication skills, organizational communication, and occupational stress were not correlated with their patient safety activities. Practical Implication: Patient safety activities of nurses were related to their communication skills and occupational stress, but nurse assistants were not. Therefore, nurses should encourage nursing assistants to responsibly engage in patient safety activities and supervise their works appropriately to achieve high-quality care.

  • 최근 GPT 챗봇이 이슈화되면서 AI와 딥러닝을 통한 개발 및 발전되고 있고, 업무에 대한 효율성과 일상생활에서의 편리함을 느낄 수 있다. 다양한 산업들 중 헬스 케어 산업에서는 인공지능과 빅데이터 등 첨단 기술을 활용한 차별화된 서비스 제공에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 현재 안면인식 기술을 적용한 스마트 헬스장은 세계적으로 늘어나고 있다. 최근 한국에서도 안면인식 기술을 활용한 헬스장이 출시되었지만, 회원의 입출입에만 적용이 되고 있어 기술의 활용성이 떨어진다는 문제점이 있다. 또한, 트레이너가 없는 작은 헬스장이나 아파트 헬스장의 경우, PT를 받기 어렵다는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 안면인식 기술을 헬스장의 기구에 적용하여 기존의 인증 방식보다 안전하고 편리하며, 기본적인 정보 사항과 횟수를 기록하고 저장하며 이 전의 데이터와 비교할 수 있는 시스템을 이용하여 PT를 받지 않고도 효율적인 운동이 가능한 시스템을 제안한다.

  • 많은 사람이 "다음 생에 성적 소수자나 이주민, 장애인으로 태어나고 싶니?"라는 질문을 받는다면 대부분 사람은 선뜻 "그렇다"라고 대답하기 어렵다. 그 근본적인 이유는 질문 속 사회적 약자들은 사회에서 다양한 불평등을 마주하고 있다는 의미일 것이다. 본 논문에서는 여러 소수자 중 시각장애인을 위한 보행 보조 기구를 제작하였다. 시각장애인들이 사용하는 지팡이는 지면의 장애물 파악에 도움은 되지만 공중에 떠 있는 장애물을 파악하고 피하기 어렵다. 이러한 단점을 보완하고자 라이다 센서를 이용하여 장애물 감지가 가능한 서비스를 시각장애인에게 제공한다. 라이다 센서는 레이저 광원을 방출하여 목표물에서 튕겨 되돌아오는 특성을 이용하여 사용자에게 전방에 장애물이 감지되면 시각장애인에게 TTS로 경고음을 제공한다.
