  • 언제, 어디서나 컴퓨터 사용과 통신이 가능한 유비쿼터스 환경의 구축과 개발은 부존자원이 부족한우리나라의 산업 전략에 부합하며 현재 우리나라가 보유한 정보통신 관련기술의 우위를 바탕으로 성장할 가능성이 큰 분야로써 정부가 미래의 10대 성장 동력으로 선정한 분야의 한가지 이다. 배전시스템에서의 이 분야 기술 개발의 핵심내용은 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 고 신뢰도의 배전계통 운용 및 높은 수준의 전기품질 관리체제 구축 그리고 이를 통한 관련 산업 즉, 전력거래, 전력시장 유지 및 운영을 위한 핵심 세부 콘텐츠와 부가서비스의 창출을 위한 기반 인프라의 개발 및 구축에 있는데, 이 기반기술의 중심에 배전시스템이 있으므로 이를 고 신뢰, 고품질 기반의 시스템으로 지능화하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 태양광, 풍력 등의 분산전원이 계통에 연계되는 장래의 스마트배전시스템에 대하여, 기존의 배전계통의 전압조정방안과 비교, 분석하여 기술적인 적합여부를 종합적으로 평가하고자 한다.

  • 2000년대 초반 이후 논의되기 시작한 도서관장애인서비스는 최근 도서관법(법률 제11310호, 2012.2.17 일부개정)이 개정되면서 그 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 도서관장애인서비스의 법적근거 및 추진체제, 주요 정책 내용을 살펴보고, 도서관발전종합계획(2009~2013)과 연도별 시행계획(2009~2012), 국립장애인도서관지원센터 업무 등을 분석하여 현재 우리나라 도서관장애인서비스 정책동향과 발전방안을 모색하였다. 현 시점에서의 우리나라 도서관장애인서비스 정책은 일선 도서관들이 효율적으로 콘텐츠와 시설을 구비하고 전문 인력을 확보할 수 있도록 함과 아울러 기반자원을 보유한 기관들의 적극적인 참여를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 방향으로 전개될 필요가 있다.

  • 요즘 들어 컴퓨터 처리 능력의 향상에 따라 사이버인프라스트럭처(Cyberinfrastructure)를 이용하는 계산과학이 주목을 받고 있다. 그 중에서도 대용량 데이터의 복잡한 계산과 시뮬레이션을 동반하는 계산화학 연구 분야에서의 컴퓨터 활용은 매우 중요하다. 계산화학을 간단하게 설명하자면 컴퓨터를 이용한 계산을 통하여 이론 화학의 문제를 다루는 화학의 한 분야라고 말할 수 있다. 계산화학 분야의 연구를 위하여 고성능 컴퓨터와 데이터를 처리, 분석하는 계산화학 도구는 이론연구자 및 실험연구자 모두에게 있어 필수적인 요소이다. 더불어 계산화학 연구자간의 협업과 원격지에 있는 사이버인프라스트럭처 자원의 활용을 위해 e-Science 환경에서의 연구 및 교육 환경이 개발되어야 한다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)이 보유 및 운영하고 있는 사이버인프라스트럭처(고성능 컴퓨터, 초고속 네트워크)를 기반으로 컴퓨터에 익숙하지 않은 계산화학 관련 연구자 및 전공자들이 인터넷 상에서 계산화학 분야 교육을 받을 수 있는 e-Science 기반 계산화학 교육을 위한 환경을 설계하고자 한다. 이를 위해 1) 세계적으로 유명한 GridChem, CICC, NBCR 웹사이트를 이용하여 발표된 논문을 분석하였으며, 2) 분석된 결과를 가지고 주로 사용되는 계산화학 도구의 통계를 산출하여, 3) 이를 바탕으로 KISTI 사이버인프라스트럭처를 활용한 e-Science 기반 계산화학 교육 환경(e-Chem)을 설계하였다.

  • Power plant engineering industry obtains EPC plan project and delivers results about electricity, measurement, machinery, and piping and so on. Its works are taken by projects. Although power plant engineering composes 2~5% of whole EPC project cost, it's one of the fundamentals because it affects process after planning step a lot. However, domestic power plant engineering companies' project performance ability is insufficient and there's a need for systematic performance. Thus, this study defined related factors of successful performance and analyzed the priority among them through analytical hierarchy process. All respondents recognized experience, knowledge, and communication as important factors. Administrators considered knowledge, experience, and communication. But hands-on workers considered experience, knowledge, human resources. Those who have experience in oversea project considered process, experience, human resources. However those who don't have experience in oversea project considered knowledge, experience, and communication. Recognition of important factors varies by the position and work experience of members.

The Relationship between Star Employee Ratio and Firm Performance: An Analysis of Korean Sell-Side Analysts (스타 인재의 비율과 증권사 재무성과의 관계에 대한 연구 - 국내 증권사의 애널리스트를 중심으로 -)

  • Amidst the growing uncertainty in external environments, securing and retaining superior human resources is becoming emphasized as a key means for organizations to achieve competitive advantages. Particularly, star employees-human resources that are characterized by their ability to create extraordinary performance relative to other peers-are increasingly gaining attention in both academia and industry because of its importance in knowledge-based industries. However, despite the prevailing recognition for star employees, few previous literature have attempted to empirically test the direct relationship between the ratio of star employees in an organization and organizational performance. Considering both the potential for positive and negative influence of star employees on organizations, the relationship between the ratio of star employees and organizational performance can not only be a simple linear relationship but can also exist in a curvilinear form. Building on the existing literature on star employees, this paper establishes competing hypotheses for the two possibilities of curvilinear relationship; as the ratio of star employees increases, marginal effects can either increase (i.e., U-shaped curvilinear relationship) or decrease (i.e., inverted U-shaped curvilinear relationship). Employing an unbalanced panel data of 35 Korean brokerage firms between years 2008 and 2013 with 134 observations, the relationship between the ratio of best analysts (i.e. star employees) as selected by Maeil Business Newspaper and financial performance (i.e. organizational performance) of corresponding brokerage firms is examined. Empirical results indicate that while organizational performance increases as the ratio of star employees increases, its positive effect diminishes over time which provides support for the curvilinear relationship with decreasing marginal effects. Our research findings imply that star employees create value in knowledge-based industries; at the same time, implications are given as results calls for caution for excessive dependence on star employees beyond a certain level.

A study on the effect of SME IT resource on performance (중소기업의 IT자원이 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Based on RBV(Resource Based View), IT of SMEs classified into IT resource and capabilities. And We confirmed that capabilities and resources affected each performance. In other words, based on the questionnaire of SMEs and IT professionals, divides capability from the overall IT resource that are possessed by SMEs. Among the four attributes (value, rare, non-substitutability, imperfect imitability) presented by Barney (1991), this study targeted at value and imperfect imitability and investigated how SMEs recognize IT resource and capability. Furthermore, this study tests how IT resource and capability influence corporate performance. The result of this study finds that resources that are needed on "Knowledge-based" are classified into IT capability, otherwise classified into IT resource. Analysis shows that server, DB(database), system administrators, programmers, CIO, BA were capabilities, Desktop PC, PC software, software for salary and accounting management, e-commerce, Homepage, and network inside th enterprise were resources. Secondly, this study reveals that both IT resource and IT capability affected company performance (employee satisfaction, CEO satisfaction). IT is certainly having an impact on corporate performance. In conclusion, resource can be either IT resource or IT capability based on they way of utilization. And both IT resource and IT capability have an influence on corporate performance (employee job satisfaction, CEO satisfaction). Therefore, when considering IT investment, a company can purchase necessary IT resource and actively utilize it to be IT capability, which can have an influence on corporate performance in return.

Research Networking in Convergence Relations: A Network Analytic Approach to Interdisciplinary Cooperation (연결망 분석을 활용한 인문사회기반 융합연구 구조에 관한 연구: 네트워크 중심성과 중개자 역할을 중심으로)

  • Interdisciplinary convergence research is widely seen as a collaborative research between different disciplines, which is often driven by common agenda or problems in pursuit of a particular common objective. Thus, the purpose of interdisciplinary cooperation in convergence research is to bring each discipline's unique perspective together with the academic expertise of researchers in order to share common problems that cannot be solved effectively without research partnership. We present empirical evidence on how interdisciplinary research relationships are formed to facilitate research networking in convergence relations. In particular, we used network analysis to investigate how interdisciplinary linkages and convergence research networks has formed over time. We found that the convergence research networks were implemented by the interdisciplinary convergence research support program as intended. We did find that research field with high indegree and outdegree in a network played critical roles on the dynamics and degree of interdisciplinarity. Finally, we could find evidence that the role of liaison brokers triggered relational dynamics in interdisciplinary research collaboration.

The Structure of Regional Industries for Daejeon.Choongchung Area and the Measurement of Regional Innovation Ability (대전.충청지역 산업의 구조적 특성과 지역별 혁신역량)

  • This study aims at analyzing the structure of the regional industries in Daejeon, including Choongchung area and the measurement of Regional Innovation Ability Index. The study also investigates the environment of the regional innovation activities in terms of Regional Location Quotient Index. The study mainly focuses on the estimation of four types of innovation ability indexes, i.e., human resource, knowledge creation, knowledge transfer and application, and innovation supporting finance output market. The findings indicate that Daejeon showed the highest index 2.977, and Seoul recorded 2.650 as the second rank. The indexes of Choongnam and Choongbuk were 2.034 and 2.082, respectively, which reached to 76%~78% of that of Seoul. The indexes of the other cities accounted for only 50%~60% of that of Deajeon city. This study concludes that there is a regional difference particularly in the knowledge creation area.

Market Performance and Strategy of Program Providers (방송채널사용사업자의 시장 성과와 전략)

  • This study examines the performance of program providers(PP) considering various factors. This study employs the panel regression models with the dataset from 2014 to 2019. This study analyzes how various market structural factors and behavioral factors have impact on the performance. The results show that the high proportion of retransmission fees to broadcasting revenue is negatively associated with total media revenue and operating income while advertising revenue is positively associated with these factors. The results imply PPs that have heavily depended on the fees have not showed a superior performance. Current PP markets are evaluated to have low average revenue per users and thus the size of retransmission fees cannot be enlarged. Under such market conditions, PPs focusing on raising advertising revenue show better performance. This study also suggests that PPs that own diverse channel assets have improved their performances.

  • In spite of the variety of business environments around start-up firms, almost all existing studies on business strategy of new IT firms. The purpose of the present research is to examine the relationships of the corporate capability, competitive advantage and performance of IT enterprise. There was much research for IT enterprise in other lands, but there was a little in Korea. Through previous literature, we can't find differences between IT enterprise strategies and common corporation strategies. So this research treats new strategies of IT. This research is explanatory and three research questions. This research focuses on the determining factors(corporate capability, competitive advantage) and management performance of IT enterprise in Busan area. In order to test the established 3 hypothesis, several multi-variate analyses are used. Factor analysis is used to reduce the competitive advantage question to its underlying factors. Finally, multi-variate regression and analysis is used to determine whether performance differences The result of this study would be useful to practitioners on management and entrepreneurship. Finally, this study is expected to encourage entrepreneurs to create new possibility in IT enterprise and to assist more new operating business strategy.
