  • 베이즈 분류기(Bayesian classifier)를 이용하여 특정 신문기사가 어떤 정치적 성향을 가지는지 분류한다. 이를 위하여 보수 및 진보 성향으로 알려진 언론사의 보도기사를 수집하여 베이즈 분류기를 학습하였다. 즉, 보수 및 진보적 성향을 갖는 기사에서 출현 빈도가 높은 단어의 빈도수를 확인하여 분류기를 구현하였다. 학습에 사용하지 않은 보수 및 진보적 성향의 기사를 사용하여 분류기의 성능을 검증하였다.

A Method of Estimating Conservative Potential Amount of Groundwater (보수적 지하수 개발가능량 산정 방안)

  • By far, groundwater management has been conducted by 'safe yield' policy based on the estimation of annual average of groundwater recharge throughout the world. However, as groundwater recharge show spatiotemporal variation, dynamic analysis must be carried out to evaluate the sustainable groundwater resources. In this study, an integrated surface-groundwater model, SWAT-MODFLOW was used to compute the spatial distribution of groundwater recharge in Gyungju region. Frequency analysis is adopted to evaluate the existing values of potential amount of groundwater development which is made by the 10 year drought frequency rainfall multiplied by recharge coefficient. The conservative methods for estimating recharge rates of 10 year drought frequency in subbains are newly suggested and compared with the existing values of potential amount of groundwater development. This process will promote the limitations for existing precesses used for computing potential amount of groundwater development.

  • 네트워크 중심전에서 C4I체계의 안정적 운용을 통한 전장에서의 정보우위 달성을 위해 체계의 신뢰성 확보가 필요하여 각 군 C4I체계는 외주 용역업체를 통해 유지보수를 수행 중에 있다. 유지보수는 C4I체계의 수명 주기 중 가장 오랜 기간을 차지하고 있으며 결함 데이터 등의 실증적인 자료를 확보할 수 있는 기간이다. 따라서 유지보수 기간 중 수집한 결함 데이터를 결함분석기법을 통해 분석(치명도, 발생빈도)하고, 주요기능별 활용도를 이용하여 C4I체계 유지보수 관리 우선순위 선정기법을 제안한다. 이 후 제안 기법을 해군 C4I체계의 군적용 사례연구를 통해 유지보수 관리 우선순위를 선정함으로써 유지보수의 제한된 자원(예산, 인력, 시간 등)을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 판단의 근거로 사용이 가능함을 보인다. 뿐만 아니라 체계화된 결함분석과정을 통해 축적된 자료를 활용하여 유지보수의 연속성 보장과 향후 성능개량사업간 시스템 분석의 참고자료로 활용함에 따라 궁극적으로 C4I체계의 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Probabilistic Analysis of Repairing Cost Considering Random Variables of Durability Design Parameters for Chloride Attack (염해-내구성 설계 변수에 변동성에 따른 확률론적 보수비용 산정 분석)

  • Repairing timing and the extended service life with repairing are very important for cost estimation during operation. Conventionally used model for repair cost shows a step-shaped cost elevation without consideration of variability of extended service life due to repairing. In the work, RC(Reinforced Concrete) Column is considered for probabilistic evaluation of repairing number and cost. Two mix proportions are prepared and chloride behavior is evaluated with quantitative exterior conditions. The repairing frequency and cost are investigated with varying service life and the extended service life with repairing which were derived from the chloride behavior analysis. The effect of COV(Coefficient of Variation) on repairing frequency is small but the 1st repairing timing is shown to be major parameter. The probabilistic model for repairing cost is capable of reducing the number of repairing with changing the intended service life unlike deterministic model of repairing cost since it can provide continuous repair cost with time.

Case study and implications for AI-powered predictive maintenance in the railroad industry (철도산업에서 AI기반 예측 유지보수를 위한 사례 연구 및 시사점)

  • This study aims to analyze the concept and application of AI-based predictive maintenance in the railroad industry and draw implications from it. Focusing on the adoption of AI-based maintenance systems by the Korea Railroad Corporation and Seoul Metro, we examined how AI technology can improve the efficiency and safety of railroad operations. We also compared and analyzed the application of AI technology in the European railroad industry through the cases of Deutsche Bahn in Germany and SNCF in France. The study found that AI-powered predictive maintenance contributes to reducing the frequency of breakdowns, reducing maintenance costs, and increasing the reliability of railroad operations.

Analysis of Defect Risk by Work Types based on Warranty Liability Period in Apartments (공동주택 하자보수보증기간에 기초한 공종별 하자위험 분석)

  • Apartment is a typical type of housing preferred by the majority of people. However, and defect disputes occur because various defects such as cracks, subsidence, breakage, water leakage, dew condensation and dropout are confirmed with numerous structures and finishing materials. From this point of view, this paper analyzes defect frequency and costs of each warranty period by work types, and estimates defect risks by using defect dispute cases. It examined about 5,337 defect items for 32 apartment over ten years old. In this paper, there are 10 types of work types and the warranty liability period is divided into 6 categories. Based on these categories, defect frequency and costs are investigated, and finally defect risk of the warranty liability period by work types confirmed. As a result of this analysis, it was found that defect risk in RC and finishing work is very high. Especially the RC work revealed that there is a high risk of trying from the third year onwards and it was found that the defect risk up to the second year is high in the finishing work. Due to aging of RC structure, the defect risk gradually increases, and finishing work initially cause defect disputes because of the housing environment.

End Stress Analysis of Overlaid Concrete Structures Subjected to Thermally Transient Condition by Rainfall (강우에 따른 콘크리트 덧씌우기 보수체의 단부 온도응력 해석)

  • The vertical tensile stress, ${\sigma}_y$, in the contact zone between the overlay (mortar layer) and substratum (base concrete) can be the main cause of the failure phenomenon of overlaid concrete structures. The development of tensile stress, ${\sigma}_y$, due to external rainy condition was analytically investigated using finite element method. Rainfall intensity $(n_R\;=\;1/a,\;t_R\;=\;10min,\;60min)$, thickness of overlay (do=1,2,4,10 cm) and overlay material (CM,ECM,EM) were the main variables in the analyses. An equation was suggested with which the development of vertical tensile stress, ${\sigma}_y$, in the rainy condition could be determined. Using this equation, it is possible to select proper material properties and overlay thicknesses to prevent failure in the contact zone due to thermally transient condition caused by rainfall.

  • Most of the domestic railroad tracks are ballast track and repetitive maintenance is required in this track. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize maintenance process for maintenance cost reduction and more effective maintenance. For this, it is important to develop a reasonable settlement progressive model of ballast layer. However, the behavior of ballast is different to that of soils, since ballast is composed of large coarse gravel. Thus, in this study, we carried out numerical analysis by using the discrete element method (PFC 2D) for better understanding of ballast settlement and development of reasonable settlement progressive model. And, we evaluated the settlement of ballast according to particles shape, porosity and loading conditions.

  • This paper presents FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) for maintenance of mail sorting machine which is for automatic sorting of mail. We suggest the update method of regular diagnosis item and period for maintenance of mail sorting machine using the risk priority number which is calculated by severity, occurrence, and detection of failure mode of mail sorting machine, and shows FMEA adoption example of letter sorting machine. This paper also describes the current maintenance system and status of mail sorting machine in the domestic postal logistics environment, and FMEA adoption step. The proposed maintenance using FMEA will be adapted for more easy and efficiency maintenance of mail sorting machine.
