The Effects of Faculty-Student Interaction and Peer Relations upon Academic Self-efficacy of dental hygiene students (치위생(학)과 학생의 교수-학생 상호작용과 교우관계가 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the influence of academic self-efficacy of Faculty-student inter action and peer relations. The subject were collected from 289 dental hygiene students J region, three colleges of between November 5, December 30, in 2018. The data was analyzed by descriptive, pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Faculty-student interact ion was correlated with peer relations(r=.434) and had a positively correlation with academic self-efficacy(r=.282) with improved of major satisfaction and higher academic performance, a much more vigorous active faculty-student interaction and peer relations of level of academic self-efficacy. The results reveals to develop program co-relationship in order to improve academic self-efficacy.

Factors related to problematic experiences of smartphone use among adolescents according to gender (성별에 따른 청소년의 스마트폰 사용의 문제적 경험 관련 요인)

  • This study was conducted to identify factors related to the problematic experiences of smartphone use among adolescents according to gender. The subjects of this study were 54,603 male and female adolescents. This study data was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of this study, the relevant factors for the problematic experiences of smartphone use among male students were academic performance, economic level, counselors, fast food consumption frequency, depression, suicidal ideation, suicide plan, happiness, subjective body image, stress, and smartphone usage time. Drinking and smoking were found to be significant related factors only for female students. Therefore, in order to reduce the problematic experience of smartphone use, an intervention considering the influence factors according to gender is required.

The Convergence Relationship on Emotion, Emotional Labor, Happiness Index, and Retention Intention in Dental Hygienists (치과위생사의 정서, 감정노동, 행복지수와 재직의도와의 융합적 관계)

  • This study was conducted in order to be applied to basic data for enhancing dental hygienists' retention intention. Data analysis was carried out a univariate analysis and a hierarchical regression analysis over 3 stages by using SPSS version 19.0. The dental hygienists' retention intention showed a high outcome in case of the married(p<.001), in the more positive emotion(p<.001), in the lower frequency of emotional expression(p=.010), in the higher happiness index with life satisfaction(p<.001) and in the higher psychological happiness index(p=.012). The dental hygienists' emotion, emotional labor and happiness index need to be recognized as important relevant factors for increasing retention intention.

The Effects of Nursing Practice Environment and Peer Group Caring Interaction on Retention Intention among Small and Medium-sized Hospital Nurses (중소병원 간호사의 간호근무환경, 동료 간 돌봄-배려행위가 재직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This descriptive convergence research aimed to explore predictors of retention intention of nurses. Participants were 207 nurses from five small and medium-sized hospital located in city G and province J. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's corelation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Among predictors, nursing practice environment, age, peer group caring interaction, current hospital work experience, and assignment to desired department significantly affected retention intention and nursing practice environment had the greatest effect on retention intention(${\beta}=.35$). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to make efforts to improve nursing practice environment, caring interaction and good relationship between organizations.

Validity of the Self-report Assessment Forecasting Elderly Driving Risk (SAFE-DR) Applicable to Community Health Convergence (지역사회 보건 융합에 활용 가능한 노인 운전자용 자가-보고식평가(SAFE-DR)의 타당도 연구)

  • This study was conducted to test the assessment validity and examine the cut-off scores for driving risk as a part of the Self-report Assessment Forecasting Elderly Driving Risk (SAFE-DR) development project. The 132 senior drivers were categorized as either risky of 58 or safe of 74 drivers through the Drivers 65 Plus. Based on this initial assessment, we analyzed the risk prediction cut-offs. Furthermore, we tested the construct, content, and predictive validity. The cut-off score for the prediction of driving risk was found to be 74.5 points. The positive predictive value was 88.6%, and the negative predictive value was 86.3% about the cut-off score, signifying an excellent level of discrimination. Convergent validity, nomological validity, and content validity were found to be appropriate. Therefore, this study confirms that SAFE-DR is an appropriate assessment that can be used to screen dangerous elderly drivers.

  • Recently, safety issues in companies and public institutions are no longer a task that can be postponed, and when a major safety accident occurs, not only direct financial loss, but also indirect loss of social trust in the company and public institution is greatly increased. In particular, in the case of a fatal accident, the damage is even more serious. Accordingly, as companies and public institutions expand their investments in industrial safety education and prevention, open AI learning model creation technology that enables safety management services without being affected by user behavior in industrial sites where high-risk situations exist, edge terminals System development using inter-AI collaboration technology, cloud-edge terminal linkage technology, multi-modal risk situation determination technology, and AI model learning support technology is underway. In particular, with the development and spread of artificial intelligence technology, research to apply the technology to safety issues is becoming active. Therefore, in this paper, an open cloud platform design method that can support AI model learning for high-risk site safety management is presented.

A Case Study on Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) of Domestic Cosmetics Companies (국내화장품기업의 사회공헌활동(CSR)에 대한 사례분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cases of social contribution activities of cosmetics companies and to suggest directions for related activities to be continued more effectively in the future. The case was analyzed through the report, public information, and interview with the person in charge. The main results derived from previous studies and case studies. First, social contribution activities of cosmetics companies are performed in a variety of ways such as education, business, medical care, health, environmental protection, culture, art, donation etc. Second, corporate social contribution activities and diversity were found to be highly correlated with firm size. Third, the effectiveness of social contribution activities can be enhanced through collaboration with social enterprises and professional organizations. Forth, strategic approach to social contribution activities, systematic public relations, and CEO's sense of responsibility have a major influence on related activities. Based on the results of this study, it has been suggested that CSR activities of cosmetics companies can be made more effective.

Structural Relationships of GRIT, Job Crafting and Organizational Effectiveness; Focusing on Medical Center Employees (구성원의 그릿(GRIT)과 잡 크래프팅, 조직효과성의 구조적 관계: 대학병원 종사자를 대상으로)

  • This study explored a structural model that predicted the influencing factors of GRIT and job crafting on the organizational effectiveness of organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical center employees and verified the relationship between them. This study was conducted on 450 subjects, including doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and technical health service staff working at a university-affiliated hospital, from June 1, 2020 to June 15, 2020, and collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. The results of this study showed that the higher the GRIT, the more active the job crafting(β=.751, p<.001), which appeared to have a positive effect on organizational commitment (β=.297, p=.005) and job satisfaction(β=.353, p<.001). Although the GRIT of medical center employees did not show a direct effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, indicators of organizational effectiveness and employees' job crafting thoroughly played an intermediary role in the relationship between GRIT and organizational effectiveness. These results are expected to be utilized as useful information in developing measures for human resources management of medical center employees.

Neural Machine translation specialized for Coronavirus Disease-19(COVID-19) (Coronavirus Disease-19(COVID-19)에 특화된 인공신경망 기계번역기)

  • With the recent World Health Organization (WHO) Declaration of Pandemic for Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19), COVID-19 is a global concern and many deaths continue. To overcome this, there is an increasing need for sharing information between countries and countermeasures related to COVID-19. However, due to linguistic boundaries, smooth exchange and sharing of information has not been achieved. In this paper, we propose a Neural Machine Translation (NMT) model specialized for the COVID-19 domain. Centering on English, a Transformer based bidirectional model was produced for French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, and Chinese. Based on the BLEU score, the experimental results showed significant high performance in all language pairs compared to the commercialization system.

A Study on the Attribute Analysis of Software Reliability Model with Shape Parameter Change of Infinite Fault NHPP Lomax Life Distribution (무한고장 NHPP Lomax 수명분포의 형상모수 변화에 따른 소프트웨어 신뢰성 모형의 속성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the optimal shape parameter condition is presented after analyzing the attributes of the software reliability model according to the change of the shape parameter of Loma life distribution with infinite fault NHPP. In order to analyze the software failure phenomena, the parametric estimation method was applied to the Maximum Likelihood Estimation method, and the nonlinear equation was applied to the bisection method. As a result, it was found that when the attributes according to the change of the shape parameter are compared, the smaller the shape parameter is, the better the prediction ability of the true value, and reliability attributes are efficient. Through this study, it is expected that software developers can increase reliability by preliminarily grasping the type of software failure based on shape parameter, and can be used as basic information to improve the software reliability attributes.
