A Study on the Juxtaposition Technique in Nosan Lee Eun-sang's Sijo - Focusing on the Nosan Sijojip(時調集) - (노산 이은상 시조의 병치 기법 연구 - 노산 시조집을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the main creative attitude in Lee Eun-sang's Sijo relies upon the juxtaposition technique, with paying attention to juxtaposition of being found in the works of being put in the Nosan Sijojip(時調集, collection of Sijo poems), and that this creative attitude provides readers with the easiness for understanding. A type in the juxtaposition technique, which was shown in "Nosan Sijojip", was divided in the dimension of the anaphora in a meaning and the confrontation in a meaning. The anaphora of a meaning was classified into synonymous juxtaposition, comprehensive juxtaposition, specific juxtaposition and syntactic juxtaposition. The confrontation of a meaning was examined in the contradictory juxtaposition. Most of Lee Eun-sang's works are applying this juxtaposition technique. Also, the dynamic of image, which is indicated in juxtaposition, is what was influenced by the British and American imagism. This study will be able to solve problems that modern Sijo has to some extent, and will be helpful even for acquiring the identity in Sijo.

Decomposing the Electro-Mechanical Signatures of Collocated Piezoelectric Wafers for the Baseline-Free Damage Diagnosis of a Plate (판의 무기저 손상 진단을 위한 병치형 압전웨이퍼의 전기역학적 신호 분해)

  • 판과 같은 구조물의 손상 감지를 위해, 손상 전 구조물의 임피던스 신호를 기저신호(Baseline impedance signal)로 이용하여 직접적으로 비교하지 않는 새로운 개념의 무기저 손상진단 기법(Reference-free impedance method)을 제시한다. 박막 압전소자(이하 PZT)를 판의 상하 표면에 부착시킨 한 쌍의 병치 PZT를 이용하여 손상으로 인해 모드변환을 일으키는 전기역학적 신호(Electro Mechanical Signatures ; 이하 EMS)를 추출한다. 이 연구에서는 스펙트럼 요소법(Spectral Element Method ; 이하 SEM)을 이용하여 주파수 영역에서 병치된 PZT의 EMS를 파악하기 위한 수치해석을 수행한다. 특히, 손상에 의해 발생된 모드변환 EMSMC를 병치된 PZT의 극성에 기인한 신호분해 기법을 적용하여 추출하고, 분해된 모드변환 EMSMC가 손상의 위치와 크기에 따라 받는 영향을 추가로 분석한다.

Asymptotic Analysis for Hydraulic Fractures and Applicability of Boundary Collocation Method (수압파쇄균열의 점근적 해석과 경계병치법의 적용성)

  • The occurrence of multi-segmented hydraulic fractures that show different behavior from the single fracture is common phenomenon. However, it is not easy to evaluate the behavior of multiple fractures computed by most numerical techniques because of complicated process computation. This study presents how to efficiently calculate the displacement of the multi-segmented hydraulic fractures using the boundary collocation method (BCM). First of all, asymptotic solutions are obtained for the closely spaced overlapping fractures and are compared with those by the BCM where the number of collocation points is varied. As a result, the BCM provides an excellent agreement with the asymptotic solutions even when the number of collocation points is reduced ten times as many as that of conventional implementations. Accordingly, the numerical simulation of more realistic and, hence, more complex fracture geometries by the BCM would be valid with such a significant reduction of the number of collocation points.

  • 본 논문에서는 점묘화를 생성하기 위한 회화적 렌더링 기법을 제안한다. 신인상파(Neo-Impressionist) 화가 쇠라는 캔버스위의 독립 색채들은 망막위에서 재조직된다는 이론을 바탕으로 점묘화를 제안한다. 이는 색의 병치혼합과 보색대비를 이용해 빛의 가산혼합이 회화작품에 적용될 수 있도록 하기위해 브러시 스트로크로 작은 점을 이용한다. 이러한 점묘화를 표현하기위해서 쇠라의 작품과 동시대의 색이론 분석을 통해 색의 분할과 병치혼합의 이론적 배경을 알아보고 이를 통해 점묘 스트로크의 색상, 모양, 방향등을 결정할 수 있는 알고리즘을 소개한다. 먼저 신인상파의 팔레트 분석을 통해 칼라모델을 설계한다. 그리고 입력영상을 영상분할 기법을 이용해 공간적 구도를 잡고 각 분할 영역의 관계를 고려해 색상을 할당한다. 각 할당된 색은 보색과 함께 정의된다. 각 분할영역은 해당영역에서 표현될 수 있는 색상의 작은 점묘 브러시 스트로크로 렌더링이 된다. 이때 입력영상의 밝기정보를 유지할 수 있도록 점묘 스트로크는 색상이 결정된다. 점묘 스트로크의 방향은 입력영상의 에지방향을 따르도록 보간법을 이용해 계산한다.

  • Hydraulic fracturing technology has been widely applied in the industry for the recovery of the natural resources such as gas, oil and geothermal heat from hot dry rock. During hydraulic fracturing stimulation, multiple cracks are created resulting in mechanical interaction between cracks. Such an interaction influences obtaining hydraulic fracturing key parameters (crack opening, length, and borehole net pressure). The boundary collocation method (BCM) has been proved to be very effective in considering mechanical interaction. However, for better confidence, it needs to be verified by comparison with analytical solutions such as stress intensity factors. In this paper, three cases, single fracture in remote uniaxial tension, single fracture in remote shear stress field and two arbitrary segments in an infinite plane loaded at infinity are considered. As a result, the BCM is proved to be valid technique to consider mechanical interaction between cracks and can be used to estimate the hydraulic fracturing parameters such as opening of the fracture, and so on.

  • 본 논문에서는 점묘화 표현을 위한 기법을 제한한다. 신인상파(Neo-Impressionist) 화가 쇠라는 캔버스위의 독립 색채들은 망막위에서 재조직된다는 이론을 바탕으로 점묘화를 제안한다. 이는 색의 병치혼합과 보색대비를 이용해 빛의 가산혼합이 회화작품에 적용될 수 있도록 하기위해 브러시 스트로크로 작은 점을 이용한다. 이러한 점묘화를 표현하기위해서 쇠라의 작품과 동시대의 색이론 분석을 통해 색의 분할과 병치혼합의 이론적 배경을 알아보고 이를 통해 점묘 스트로크의 색상, 모양, 방향등을 결정할 수 있는 알고리즘을 소개한다. 먼저 신인상파의 팔레트 분석을 통해 칼라모델을 설계한다. 또한 점의 효율적인 분포를 위해 재귀적인 Wang Tile을 이용한다. 점묘의 색상구성은 명암의 단계별로 처리된다. 이렇게 함으로써 명암표현을 위한 보색의 배치를 적절히 표현할 수 있다. 이때 점묘 스트로크의 방향은 입력영상의 에지방향을 따르도록 보간법을 이용해 계산한다.

A Study on Pointillistic Rendering Based on User Defined Palette (사용자 정의 팔레트에 기반한 점묘화 렌더링에 관한 연구)

  • The French neo-impressionist painter, George Seurat, introduced pointillism under the theory that the individual pigments of colors on the canvas are reconstructed on the human retina. Pointillism is a painting technique in which many small brush strokes are combined to form a picture in the canvas. When such a painting is seen from a far, the individual stroke color are unnoticeable and they are seen as intermixed colors. This is called juxtaposed color mixture. In this paper, we present a painterly rendering method for generating the pointillism images. For expressing countless separate dots which shown in the pointillism works, we propose a hierarchical points structure using Wang The method. Also a user defined palette is constructed based on the usage that Neo-Impressionist painter works on his palette. Lastly, based on this, a probability algorithm will be introduced, which divides the colors in the image(sampled by hierarchical point structure) into juxtaposed colors. A hierarchical points set which undergone juxtaposed color division algorithm is converted into brush strokes.

  • Prefab members have attracted attention because they can be mass-produced in factories through smart construction technology. For prefab prestressed concrete girders, it is important to manage the shapes of the girders properly from production to the pre-installation stage for consistency with the prefab floor plate during the erection process. This paper presents a camber reconstruction method using collocated strain measurements from the top and bottom of the prefab girder. In particular, the camber reconstruction method is applied to measured strain data in which the time-dependent behavior of concrete is considered after the introduction of prestress. Through Monte Carlo numerical simulations, the statistical accuracy of the reconstructed camber for a limited number of sensors, measurement errors, and nonlinear time-dependent behaviors are analyzed and validated.

A Study on the Interaction of Segmented Hydraulic Fractures (다중으로 분할된 수압파쇄균열의 상호작용에 관한 연구)

  • Recent observations based on geological evidence and laboratory tests confirm that complex segmentation of hydraulic fractures is common phenomena. It is expected that the segmentation causes mechanical interaction between the fractures and affects fracture opening and measured net pressure. In this study, therefore, the opening of the fractures is computed using boundary collocation method to evaluate the mechanical interaction quantitatively. Also, improved boundary collocation method is suggested to evaluate the displacement of the fracture wall accurately and the reliability of this method is confirmed by comparing with that of the finite element method.
