The engineering competitiveness of domestic construction companies is 70$\sim$80% of advanced countries. And Korean' companies fall behind China and South-East Asia in a competitive price. Recently, there are increased the amount of overseas order received in Korean construction companies. But, there is not enough the supporting policy of government. Therefore, this research compared and analyzed the competitiveness of domestic construction companies throughout benchmarking support system of overseas construction in advanced companies. Such research was obtained through business trip & consultation with related specialists for the difficulties of domestic companies in advancing into overseas market. This research provided governmental plans to advance into overseas market. First, this research provided assurance system and connected plan of ODA(Official Development Assistant) in construction. Second, this research suggested the improvement of overseas marketing survey and overseas construction marketing center. Third, this research provided the support system of bidding information and the training system of professionals.

Recently the government aims to new markets, new jobs, and economic management based on technology, imagination, and creativity through the 'Creative Economy'. It has also been demonstrated in the creation of economic benchmarking of the developed countries that the performance of the creative economy in the border area with convergence of industry, science, culture and technology can achieve. In particular, women in science and technology play an important role in the case of developed countries. However, it is known that active supports and development policies for women scientists and engineers are insufficient, and the number of woman in science and technology is very low in korea. The ratio of women in her early and mid 30s in economic activity is low because of career break and difficulties from going back to work due to childbirth and parenting. The government should concentrate on the creative education and training, support for women in science and technology to develop the creative economy progressively. we present the investigation of the ICT industry status, role of women in economic participation, and the plan of creating jobs for women in the ICT industry in this paper.

In July 2007, Korean government has passed "The Capital Market and Financial Investment Services Act" to further develop the capital markets and the Act was to become effective in February 2009. Using a large sample of Korean firms, we have examined (i) the effect of underwriting activities on the firm value (bond spread) comparing commercial bank and investment bank, and (ii) the determinants of the firm value changes following underwriting activities of bank. To test our goal, we collected a wide range of samples of data for bond issuing activities executed by Korean firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) between 2000 and 2003. Our paper is distinguished from previous studies on this subject in a way that we analyzed the effect of corporate bond underwriting activities with regard to commercial banking and investment banking. Initially, we set up a hypothesis that "Certification View" and "Conflict-of-interest View" are major driving forces behind cross-firm differences in performance following bond issuance. We find that, in general, underwriting by investment bank (securities company) brings a positive effect on the firm value (spread between bench mark rate and bond issuing rate). This result indicates that firm value has been negatively affected by the bank underwriting and provides the evidence for "Conflict-of-interest View" in Korea. Our studies have also revealed that any change in firm value following bond issuance is positively related with the firm size (total asset), operating performance, liquidity (cashflow), and equity ownership by foreign investors. Overall, our results support the view that bank underwriting activities can play an important role in determining firm value and financial strategies under "The Capital Market and Financial Investment Services Act" of 2007.

본 연구는 IT산업에서 일반적으로 제품 수명이 짧은 반면, 특허출원부터 등록시 까지 기간이 많이 소요되기 때문에 과연 특허출원하는 것이 실효성이 있을 지에 대한 의구심에서 출발하여 IT산업에서 특허 보유의 필요성이 있는지 여부에 대해 여러 각도에서 집중 분석해 보았다. 본 연구에서는 IT산업에 대한 정의, 국내 IT산업의 세계 시장에서의 위치 및 특허 환경 분석을 통한 분석과 IT산업에서 실제 사용되었던 특허를 사례별로 분석해 봄으로써 전략적으로 특허를 창출하는 방안을 제시하고자 했다. 본 연구결과 우리나라 IT산업의 세계시장에서의 점유율이 높은 부분인 낸드플래시메모리, 평판패널, DRAM, 이동통신 단말 부분에 대한 국내 특허출원 건수를 조사한 바, DRAM, 낸드플래시메모리, 평판패널 그리고 이동통신 단말 순으로 특허출원 건수가 많음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 IT산업의 국내 특허분쟁 사례를 조사한 바, 총산업 대비 41%를 점하고 있다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 특허 환경에 대처하기 위해서는 전략적으로 특허를 확보해야 하는 당위성에 입각하여 실제 기업에서 특허분쟁에서 사용되었던 강한특허를 벤치마킹하여 어떻게 특허를 창출해야할 지에 대한 답을 얻고자 했다. 그 결과로 연구개발을 통한 많은 실시 예 확보, 명세서 작성 시 한정적인 용어의 선택을 피하고, 발명의 내용을 확대할 수 있는 특허제도 활용, 마지막으로 의견서 제출 시 균등해석을 제한하는 표현 삼가 등이 전략적으로 특허를 창출하는 핵심 요소로 분석되었다.

기업의 시장개척과 경쟁 우위 확보에 있어 인간친화형 혁신 제품의 개발이 중요해지고 있다. 인간친화형 혁신 제품의 개발은 기술, 인간, 미학, 비즈니스와 경영, 윤리와 법에 대한 전공 지식 및 제품 개발 전 과정에 대한 통합적인 시각과 경험을 필요로 한다. 이를 위한 교육과정은 학제간 및 산학간 연계를 통해, 교과과정을 이수한 인력이 별도의 교육 없이 제품 개발 업무를 수행할 수 있도록 개발되어야 한다. 본 연구는 국내 대학의 산업공학, 기계공학, 산업디자인학과와 국외 MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Melon 대학의 제품 설계 및 개발 교육 프로그램을 대상으로 (1) 목표 및 대상 파악, (2) 교과과정 특성분석, (3) 운영 모델을 파악한다. 이를 바탕으로 국내외 현황에 대한 비교 분석 결과를 제시하고 대상과 목표, 이수방식 등에 따른 다양한 학제간/산학간/프로그램 운용 등에 필요한 모델을 정리하고 그 활용방안을 제안한다.

Research in the Servitization of Manufacturing has become focused more on cases than concepts over the past decade. This is because governments have emphasized some practical research with policies to support their industries. Manufacturers need differentiated strategies to gain competitiveness by servitization in the global market. They should examine how common servitization has become in the same industries and markets. They should also make sure how it works and for what purpose it is done since it is necessary to make the best decision to be able to distribute the limited resources most effectively to defeat the global competitors. South Korea has the sixth largest trade volume in the world, but Korean SMEs' marketing capabilities fall short compared to that of major global companies. This paper seeks to develop the proper model and its application for the servitization with global cases which are recommended for Korean SMEs. They need to check the urgency in servitization according to their products, industries and target markets. In addition, factors such as purposes, time and types of the servitization are examined to see how they are related each other. The most significant implication of this study is that the processes for early-stage companies in servitazation are modeled to help them make the best choices.

오늘날의 정보시스템 구축 방향은 대형 컴퓨터를 중심으로 수많은 단말기를 연결한 수직형네트워크 시스템에서 다운사이징과 네트워크 기술이 결합하여 분산적으로 자료를 처리하는 클라이언트/서버 시스템 구축으로 변화하고 있다. 본 연구는 모든 단말기를 통제하는 대형 컴퓨터를 운영하는 전산망에서 클라이언트/서버 전산망으로 전환하는 하나의 사례연구를 통하여 구축환경변화, 시스템구성, 경영환경변화를 분석함으로써 클라이언트/서버 시스템의 성공적인 사례를 제시하는 것이다. 클라이언트/서버 시스템으로 변환하기전에 재개발할 시스템의 목표와 방향을 설정하기 위해서 벤치마킹을 실시하였고, 이의 결과를 바탕으로 경영업무의 프로세스를 재설계 하였다. 그리고 기업의 내부와 외부자료에 관한 표준화를 실시하였다. 정보기술 투자의 경제성과 경쟁우위 확보를 위하여 클라이언트/서버 시스템을 구현하게 되었으며 판매물류, 생산물류, 그리고 재무회계에 관한 경영지원시스템으로 구성되는 종합물류시스템 이외에 영업소에 관련된 영업정보시스템과 자동창고시스템이 컴퓨터 네트워크와 관련해서 시스템을 구성하였다. 구성 전략 촛점은 리엔지니어링, 다운사이징, 그리고 벤치마킹이었다. 시스템을 재개발한 후 업무의 계획, 진행, 분석, 감리등에 관한 체계적 업무흐름이 정착될 정도로 변화하였으며, 통신방식의 확대 및 다양화로 의사소통의 원활화와 타 관련업무와 연계처리, 그리고 부서들 상호간에 정보를 공유할 수 있었다. 또한 정보기술에 의한 업무처리를 기본으로 하는 기능적 태도로 인하여 관리자와 실무자의 업무운영에 관한 사고와 의식이 변화하였다. 따라서 매출액의 증가와 종업원수가 감소되었다.

Although encryption for data protection is essential in the big data platform environment of public institutions and corporations, much performance verification studies on encryption algorithms considering actual big data workloads have not been conducted. In this paper, we analyzed the performance change of AES, ARIA, and 3DES for each of six workloads of big data by adding data and nodes in MongoDB environment. This enables us to identify the optimal block-based cryptographic algorithm for each workload in the big data platform environment, and test the performance of MongoDB by testing various workloads in data and node configurations using the NoSQL Database Benchmark (YCSB). We propose an optimized architecture that takes into account.

The purpose of this study was to make a mid- and long-term development plan on the business incubator center after interviewing five startups that currently being occupied in or already left the center and reviewing benchmark on business incubator centers in developed countries such as USA, Sweden, and Israel. For the interview, the three startups currently being occupied in the center and the two companies already left the center were participated. The main strengths of the center from all of these five companies were easy accessibility to the equipment and space and at the same time trustworthy from the outside vendors and/or government, etc. USA is a leading country who has long history for the startups but mostly the private companies/organizations/individuals have supported the startups in terms of funding or consulting. Also, there are countless local governments nationwide who provide funding, education, and/or space for the small businesses. Mainly based on the interview and the benchmarking, the mid- and long-term development plan for the business incubator center was made. All six themes such as consortium for investment or a local network plan were derived for the development plan which was described in this study.

IT outsourcing (ITO) is an integration of two firms-external vendor(s) and a client firm-IT resources by contract. According to resource-based view(RBV), three different resources-ITO vendor's resource, client firm's resource, and the relationship resource between two firms- may have an impact on ITO performance. However, there have been few previous studies considering all three IT resources simultaneously. There have been also few empirical studies in ITO context, which test Bharadwaj (2000)'s findings: 1) IT resources can be divided into tangible IT asset and intangible IT capability, and 2) only IT capability has an impact on the IT performance. Therefore we examined whether, in ITO context, all three different resources have a significant impact on ITO performance. Adopting the findings of previous IT studies, we also divided IT resource into IT asset and IT capability. To achieve this research objective, we analyzed 62 ITO cases of 45 companies being listed in Korean top 100 companies for recent 3 years. Also, we analyzed the data with the Partial Least Squares method. The results of this research lead to the following conclusions: First, only when partnership is high, ITO vendors' resource can have an influence on ITO performance. Second, only client firm's IT capability, not IT asset, is directly related to the ITO success. Third, a firm's IT capability can increase the partnership. Therefore, we concluded that 1) RBV is also an useful theory in ITO context, 2) Bharadwaj(2000)'s suggestion is valid in ITO context as well, and 3) the relationship resource is also important in ITO.
