For the indoor positioning, wireless fingerprinting is most favorable because fingerprinting is most accurate among the technique for wireless network based indoor positioning which does not require any special equipments dedicated for positioning. The deployment of a fingerprinting method consists of off-line phase and on-line phase and more efficient and accurate methods have been studied. This paper proposes a bayesian algorithm for wireless fingerprinting and indoor location determination using fuzzy clustering with bayesian learning as a statistical learning theory.
This paper presents a technique for an agent to adaptively behave to unforeseen and dynamic circumstances. Since the traditional methods utilized the information about an environment to control intelligent agents, they were robust but could not behave adaptively in a complex and dynamic world. A behavior-based method is suitable for generating adaptive behaviors within environments, but it is necessary to devise a hybrid control architecture that incorporates the capabilities of inference, learning and planning for high-level abstract behaviors. This Paper proposes a 2-level control architecture for generating adaptive behaviors to perceive and avoid dynamic moving obstacles as well as static obstacles. The first level is behavior-network for generating reflexive and autonomous behaviors, and the second level is to infer dynamic situation of agents. Through simulation, it has been confirmed that the agent reaches a goal point while avoiding static and moving obstacles with the proposed method.

The Bayesian algorithm model is a model algorithm that calculates probabilities based on input data and is mainly used for complex disasters, water quality management, the ecological structure between living things or living-non-living factors. In this study, we analyzed the main factors affected Korean Estuary Trophic Diatom Index (KETDI) change based on the Bayesian network analysis using the diatom community and physicochemical factors in the domestic estuarine aquatic ecosystem. For Bayesian analysis, estuarine diatom habitat data and estuarine aquatic diatom health (2008~2019) data were used. Data were classified into habitat, physical, chemical, and biological factors. Each data was input to the Bayesian network model (GeNIE model) and performed estuary aquatic network analysis along with the nationwide and each coast. From 2008 to 2019, a total of 625 taxa of diatoms were identified, consisting of 2 orders, 5 suborders, 18 families, 141 genera, 595 species, 29 varieties, and 1 species. Nitzschia inconspicua had the highest cumulative cell density, followed by Nitzschia palea, Pseudostaurosira elliptica and Achnanthidium minutissimum. As a result of analyzing the ecological network of diatom health assessment in the estuary ecosystem using the Bayesian network model, the biological factor was the most sensitive factor influencing the health assessment score was. In contrast, the habitat and physicochemical factors had relatively low sensitivity. The most sensitive taxa of diatoms to the assessment of estuarine aquatic health were Nitzschia inconspicua, N. fonticola, Achnanthes convergens, and Pseudostaurosira elliptica. In addition, the ratio of industrial area and cattle shed near the habitat was sensitively linked to the health assessment. The major taxa sensitive to diatom health evaluation differed according to coast. Bayesian network analysis was useful to identify major variables including diatom taxa affecting aquatic health even in complex ecological structures such as estuary ecosystems. In addition, it is possible to identify the restoration target accurately when restoring the consequently damaged estuary aquatic ecosystem.
Social media-based communication has become crucial part of our personal and official lives. Therefore, it is no surprise that social media sentiment analysis has emerged an important way of detecting potential customers' sentiment trends for all kinds of companies. However, social media sentiment analysis suffers from huge number of sentiment features obtained in the process of conducting the sentiment analysis. In this sense, this study proposes a novel method by using Bayesian Network. In this model MBFS (Markov Blanket-based Feature Selection) is used to reduce the number of sentiment features. To show the validity of our proposed model, we utilized online review data from Yelp, a famous social media about restaurant, bars, beauty salons evaluation and recommendation. We used a number of benchmarking feature selection methods like correlation-based feature selection, information gain, and gain ratio. A number of machine learning classifiers were also used for our validation tasks, like TAN, NBN, Sons & Spouses BN (Bayesian Network), Augmented Markov Blanket. Furthermore, we conducted Bayesian Network-based what-if analysis to see how the knowledge map between target node and related explanatory nodes could yield meaningful glimpse into what is going on in sentiments underlying the target dataset.

In order to analyze the prediction of the computer entertainment behavior, this study investigated the variables' interdependencies and their causal relations to the computer entertainment behavior using Bayesian inference with the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey data. For the study, Markov blanket was extracted through General Bayesian Network and the degree of influences was investigated by changing the variables' probabilities. Results showed that the computer entertainment behavior was significantly changed depending on adjusting the values of the related variables; school learning act, smoking, taunting, fandom, and school rule. The results suggested that the Bayesian inference could be used in educational filed for predicting and adjusting the adolescents' computer entertainment behavior.
This paper presents a method of using virtual examples to improve the classification accuracy for data with nominal attributes. Most of the previous researches on virtual examples focused on data with numeric attributes, and they used domain-specific knowledge to generate useful virtual examples for a particularly targeted learning algorithm. Instead of using domain-specific knowledge, our method samples virtual examples from a naive Bayesian network constructed from the given training set. A sampled example is considered useful if it contributes to the increment of the network's conditional likelihood when added to the training set. A set of useful virtual examples can be collected by repeating this process of sampling followed by evaluation. Experiments have shown that the virtual examples collected this way.can help various learning algorithms to derive classifiers of improved accuracy.
The Bayesian network(BN) has emerged in recent years as a powerful technique for handling uncertainty iii complex domains. Parameter learning of BN to find the most proper network from given data set has been investigated to decrease the time and effort for designing BN. Off-line learning needs much time and effort to gather the enough data and since there are uncertainties in real world, it is hard to get the complete data. In this paper, we propose an online learning method of Bayesian network parameters from incomplete data. It provides higher flexibility through learning from incomplete data and higher adaptability on environments through online learning. The results of comparison with Voting EM algorithm proposed by Cohen at el. confirm that the proposed method has the same performance in complete data set and higher performance in incomplete data set, comparing with Voting EM algorithm.

A threat evaluation is the technique which decides order of priority about tracks engaging with enemy by recognizing battlefield situation and making it efficient decision making. That is, in battle situation of multiple target it makes expeditious decision making and then aims at minimizing asset's damage and maximizing attack to targets. Threat value computation used in threat evaluation is calculated by sensor data which generated in battle space. Because Battle situation is unpredictable and there are various possibilities generating potential events, the damage or loss of data can make confuse decision making. Therefore, in this paper we suggest that substantial threat value calculation using learning bayesian network which makes it adapt to the varying battle situation to gain reliable results under given incomplete data and then verify this system's performance.
Aids to navigation, which provide information about a ship's position, direction, and the location of obstacles, are crucial for uninterrupted maritime services. This study aimed to analyze accidents involving aids to navigation that resulted in service disruptions and identify the key factors associated with these accidents. Aids to navigation accident data from 2000 to 2022 were utilized to achieve this. We categorized accidents by accident type, cause, region, season, and type of navigation aid and established a network through correlation analysis. Bayesian networks based on aids to navigation accidents were assigned prior probabilities, and the factors that increased the probability of accidents for different types of aids to navigation were identified. The findings can be used to infer the causes of unreported aids to navigation accidents and serve as foundational data for the prevention of such accidents.
