  • 현행 배전선로의 전주근가(1.2m 장방형)는 오거크레인을 이용한 건주공사 완료 후 전주근가 시공을 위한 별도의 인력 또는 백호우 장비가 추가로 투입피어 시공함으로써 인력으로는 공사시간이 장기간 소요되고 백호우장비로는 작업장 환경훼손과 시공원가 상승의 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 건주공사에 사용되는 오거크레인의 굴착 직경을 80cm까지 확장 가능한 '신축형 오거크레인용 유압식 확장기'와 원형 굴착공에 시공이 가능한 '아치형 전주근가'를 개발하고 이를 이용한 시공기술을 개발함으로써 동일장소에서 굴착작업이 수반되는 건주작업, 전주근가 매설작업을 가능하게 하여 장비활용성 증대, 작업장 환경개선, 공사기간 단축 및 시공원가 절감 등의 효과가 기대되는 기술을 개발하였다.

  • A large-scale construction project relies much on the efficiency of construction equipment. Therefore, efficient and accurate measurement on the productivity of construction equipment is one of important task in the construction industry. Based on the motivation, this paper proposes a 11-axis composite sensor for an automatic measurement of construction equipment. A 11-axis composite sensor is composed of a gyroscope, geomagnetic and accelerometer sensor for the purpose of real-time motion captures of construction equipment. It is expected that the proposed system can save considerable time, effort and cost of measuring a efficiency of construction equipment.

Experiments on the Resistant Force of the Trees in Rivers (하천 내 수목의 내력 시험)

  • This study was focused on the investigation of the distribution of trees which is an important factor for the improvement of the river environment, and the experimental examination of resistant force of trees to the external forces. The investigation of plant distribution performed in 11 major rivers in Korea showed that the willow family grows spontaneously over the whole country. The field experiments on the resistant force of trees were carried out on the 78 trees of 8 species in 3 different sites to estimate whether pulled out trees damage downstream hydraulic structure. The experiments were performed by the method that a backhoe drew trees and the forces were measured when the trees were overturned and pulled out. The analysis of the experimental results showed that there is a linear correlation between the resistant force and DHB (diameter at breast height).

  • In this study, laboratory tests (flow, unit weight, unconfined compressive strength and bleeding tests) were performed to evaluate engineering properties of treated soil to improve pipe mixing method. As result, flow and bleeding properties are proportional to the water contents. The unit weight and unconfined compressive strength is decreased as the water contents increased. Comparing equipments contact pressure with bearing capacity of the mixed soil for dozer, backhoe and belt conveyor are immediately appliable. The applicable water content range is estimated from 80% to 200% by pipe mixing method using cement. Also, The design chart is developed from the results.

  • 광섬유 통신 시스템이 고속화되고 장거리를 전송하게 될 수록 편광모드 분산의 중요성은 더욱 부각되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 복굴절 광섬유에서 비선형 광펄스의 전파특성을 편광 모드 분산의 영향을 고려하여 시뮬레이션하였으며 이러한 현상이 발생되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 광섬유 비션형성에 의해서 GVD(Group Velocity Dispersion)와 마찬가기로 PMD(Polarization Mode Dispersion)에서도 부분적인 보상 현상이 나타남을 수치 결과를 통해 알 수 있었다. 이러한 광 전송 시뮬레이션을 구현하기 위해서 기존의 단계분할 푸리에 방식 (SS-FM, Split-Step Fourier Method)보다 장거리 전송시 오차의 발생이 적은 단계 분할 유한 요소법)SS-FEM, Split-Step Finite Element Method)을 적용하였으며, 또한 그 단점인 수행 속도를 개선한 희귀 행렬 근사 단계 분할 유한 요소법을 제안하였다. 그 결과 제안된 방법이 기존의 푸리에 연산법이나 일반적인 유한 요소법과 비교하여 더 빠른 수행 속도를 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 지능형교통시스템(u-ITS: Ubiquitous Intelligent Transportation System)에서 발생하는 다량의 데이터를 실시간 저장하기 위해 메인 메모리 데이터베이스(MMDB: Main Memory Database)와 디스크 상주 데이터베이스(DRDB: Disk Resident Database)를 사용하는 시스템 구조와 RM(Rate Monotonic)를 기반으로 데이터의 발생 주기에 따라 MMDB와 DRDB에 실시간 저장하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel formulation to solve a time-domain combined field integral equation (CFIE) for analyzing the transient electromagnetic scattering response from closed conducting bodies. Instead of the conventional marching-on in time (MOT) technique, tile solution method in this paper is based on the moment method that involves separate spatial and temporal testing procedures. Triangular patch vector functions are used for spatial expansion and testing functions for three-dimensional arbitrarily shaped closed structures. The time-domain unknown coefficient is approximated as a basis function set that is derived from tile Laguerre functions with exponentially decaying functions. These basis functions are also used as the temporal testing. Numerical results computed by the proposed method arc stable without late-time oscillations and agree well with the frequency-domain CFIE solutions.

  • The determination of runway length is critical for ensuring adequate airport size and stable operating conditions. This study aims to present a methodology for calculating the optimal length of the fifth runway at Incheon International Airport, considering the operating characteristics of the aircraft, airport conditions, and environmental factors. Domestic guidelines currently lack specificity in selecting design aircraft and applying aircraft weight standards, especially for large airports with multiple runways, posing a challenge for additional runway construction. This research conducts a case study on the length determination of Incheon International Airport's fifth runway, suggesting a procedure for large airports that takes into account various factors such as design aircraft selection, weight, and airfield characteristics. Our findings recommend an optimal runway length that accommodates all aircraft operating at the airport, ensuring efficient and economic expansion tailored to the future aviation landscape.

Comparative Study of Citizen Science and Expert Based Survey Data Using the Species Distribution Model of Rana uenoi (큰산개구리(Rana uenoi ) 종분포모형을 활용한 시민과학 및 전문가 기반 조사자료의 비교연구)

  • Quantitative habitat model is established with species occurrence and spatial abundance data, which were usually acquired by professional field ecologists and citizen scientists. The importance of citizen science data is increasing, but the quality of these data needs to be evaluated. This study aims to identify and compare both expert-based data and citizen science data based on the performance power of quantitative models derived from both data sets. A Maximum Entropy (MaxENT) model was developed using eight environmental variables, including climate, topography, landcover and distance to forest edge. The AUC values derived from the MaxENT model were 0.842 and 0.809, respectively, indicating a high level of explanatory power. All environmental variables has similar values for both data sets, except for the distance to forest edge and rice paddy, which was relatively higher for expert-based survey data than that of the citizen science data as the distances increased. This result suggests that habitat model derived from expert-based survey data shows more ecological niche including wider ranges from forest edges and isolated habitat patches of rice paddy. This is presumably because citizen scientists focuses on direct observation methods, whereas professional field surveys investigate a wider variety of methods.
