인도에서의 기업사회적책임활동이 인도소재 한국IT기업의 종업원 이직의도를 낮출 수 있을까? (Exploring 'Intention to Leave' management in Korean IT Firms at India : The Role of CSR)

  • 인도는 2014년 외국 기업들을 대상으로 기업사회적책임(CSR)을 법규화 하여 이를 의무화 하였다. 한편 인도 진출 한국 IT 기업들의 고민 중 하나는 종업원들의 이직률이 매우 높다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 크게 네 가지 차원에서 수행되었다. 첫째, 인도 소재 한국 IT기업들은 CSR활동을 의무적으로 해야 하는데, 이들 활동이 과연 종업원들의 이직의도를 감소시킬 수 있는지 알아보는 것, 둘째, CSR과 이직의도 간 관계에서 직무배태성의 매개효과 검증, 셋째, CSR과 이직의도 간 관계에서 조직동일시의 매개효과 검증, 넷째, CSR과 이직의도 간 관계에서 직무배태성과 조직동일시의 이중매개효과 규명이다. 연구결과, CSR활동은 이직의도에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지는 않고, 직무배태성과 조직동일시의 매개효과를 통해 이직의도를 결과적으로 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 인도 소재 한국IT기업들이 외국법인의 의무사항으로 법규화된 CSR활동을 전략적으로 수행한다면, 이는 종업원들의 회사에 대한 적합성을 증가시키고 회사와의 일체감을 증대하여 결국 이직률을 감소시킬 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

국내 임상간호사의 직무배태성 연구에 관한 고찰 (Job Embeddedness of Korean Clinical Nurses: A Literature Review)

  • Purpose: This review aimed to integrate the results of studies related to job embeddedness of clinical nurses and suggest directions for future research. Methods: A search for relevant studies was conducted using six databases according to the predetermined index terms "nurse" and "job embeddedness." A total of 28 studies that met the inclusion criteria were selected and analyzed. Results: The definition of job embeddedness was consistent in the articles, but the terms, scope, and use of tools to determine job embeddedness were not. In addition, no article suggested a theoretical framework. In all the studies except one, the tool used to measure job embeddedness was one revised from Mitchell et al. (2001). In 15 articles, a negative correlation was found between job turnover and turnover intention. Job embeddedness was also found to be associated with nurses' work environment, organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment, and it had a positive impact on these variables. Conclusion: Job embeddedness can be used as a major variable to explain nurses's turnover intention. Job embeddedness is multidimensional, and a theoretical framework is needed to explain the job embeddedness of clinical nurses. Tools specific to Korea should be developed to measure the job embeddedness of Korean clinical nurses.

  • 상전이법으로 제조된 비대칭막은 세공의 크기를 nm이하의 수준으로 줄여 주면 막 여과저항이 크게 증가하여 경제성이 떨어지는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 복합막이 제조되어 사용되고 있는데, 복합막은 우수한 투과도와 높은 배제율을 달성하기 위한 적극적인 대안이 되고 있다. 정수처리 및 수질환경 분야에 사용되는 나노복합막의 경제성을 더욱 향상시키기 위해서는 나노막의 투과유속을 증가시켜야 하는데, 복합막의 투과 성능은 지지체의 특성과 스킨층을 형성시키는 기술에 의해 좌우된다.(중략)

  • 최근 의료기술의 발달로 인한 인간 수명의 연장으로 삶의 질 향상에 대한 욕구가 증가되었고, 또한 건강에 대한 관심과 요구를 증가되고 있다. 따라서 질병을 예방하고, 신속하게 검진 받을 수 있는 바이오센서의 개발에 대한 연구도 또한 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이들 연구에서 나노 탄소물질은 우수한 전기적/기계적 물성을 가지고 있어 바이오센서전극제조에 적합한 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 총설에서는 바이오센서 전극 제조방법 및 응용과 더불어 최근 주목을 받고 있는 나노 탄소물질을 이용한 탄소전극 제조 방법에 초점을 맞추어 소개하고자 한다.

중소 IT 서비스 기업 소프트웨어 인력의 이직 의도, 직무 배태성 및 직무 만족, 인사관리 프랙티스 간의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationships among Turnover Intention, Job Embeddedness and Job Satisfaction, and Human Resource Management Practices of the Software Personnel in Small and Medium Sized IT Service Firms)

  • This study aims to suggest research implications that may contribute to preventing turnover of personnel in small and medium sized software companies. A research model is developed based on the Bergiel, et al. (2009) and Woo and Hwang (2010). This model describes how human resource management (HRM) practices (compensation, recognition, job autonomy, technical capability development, work-life conflict) affect turnover intention, through the mediating effects of job satisfaction and job embeddedness. 177 questionnaires are collected and analyzed. Validity and reliability of measures, and appropriateness of the structural model are verified. Results of the hypotheses testing are somewhat different from the expected ones: Only compensation and technical capability development are significant, but the remaining variables are not significant in affecting job satisfaction and job embeddedness. As for turnover intention, job embeddedness and job satisfaction are proved to be significant predictors. From the analyses of data, subsequent interview with several respondents and additional data analyses, more research implications are derived. The study has a limitation of not including more diverse variables that might affect job embeddedness and job satisfaction of so called road warriors.

Oxygen Deficiency, Hydrogen Doping, and Stress Effects on Metal-Insulator Transition in Single-Crystalline Vanadium Dioxide Nanobeams

  • Vanadium dioxide (VO2) is a strongly correlated oxide exhibiting a first-order metal-insulator transition (MIT) that is accompanied by a structural phase transition from a low temperature monoclinic phase to a high-temperature rutile phase. VO2 has attracted significant attention because of a variety of possible applications based on its ultrafast MIT. Interestingly, the transition nature of VO2 is significantly affected by stress due to doping and/or interaction with a substrate and/or surface tension as well as defects. Accordingly, there have been considerable efforts to understand the influences of such factors on the phase transition and the fundamental mechanisms behind the MIT behavior. Here, we present the influences of oxygen deficiency, hydrogen doping, and substrate-induced stress on MIT phenomena in single-crystalline VO2 nanobeams. Specifically, the work function and the electrical resistance of the VO2 nanobeams change with the compositional variation due to the oxygen-deficiency-related defects. In addition, the VO2 nanobeams during exposure to hydrogen gas exhibit the reduction of transition temperature and the complex phase inhomogenieties arising from both substrate-induced stress and the formation of the hydrogen doping-induced metallic rutile phase.

종합병원 간호사의 직무배태성과 이직의도와의 관계에서 임파워먼트와 감성지능의 역할 (Roles of Empowerment and Emotional Intelligence in the Relationship between Job Embeddedness and Turnover Intension among General Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the roles of empowerment and emotional intelligence in the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intension among general hospital nurses. Methods: The sample for this study consisted of 224 nurses from four general hospitals of less than 500 beds located in Seoul and Gyunggi Province. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, Pearson Correlation and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. Results: It was found that: (a) Job embeddedness and emotional intelligence had negative effects on turnover intension; (b) Emotional intelligence moderated the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intension, but empowerment did not. Conclusion: Findings indicate a need to reduce the degree of turnover by enhancing job embeddedness among general hospital nurses. Further research needs to be done to refine this study.

  • Effects of ${AI_2O_3}/{P_2O_5}$ ratio on the crystallization of a series of glasses with the nominal composition of 41.4wt % $SiO_2$, 35.0wt % CaO, 20.6wt % (${P_2O_5}$+${AI_2O_3}$) and 3.0wt% MgO were investigated with DTA, XRD and SEM. The major crystalline phases are apatite and anorthite. The glass transition temperature ($T_g$) and the softening point ($T_s$) are shifted to the upper temperature by increasing $AI_2O_3$ content. The temperature of apatite crystallization ($T_{p1}$) is increased by $AI_2O_3$ content, but the tempera¬ture of anorthite crystallization ($T_{p2}$) is not affected significantly. With increased of $AI_2O_3$, the apatite crystallization is decreased, but anorthite crystallization is increased.

임상치과위생사의 직무배태성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting the job embeddedness of clinical dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to provide basic data to establish a foundation for efficient operation of the organization by identifying the factors that affect the job embeddedness of dental hygienists. Methods: A survey was conducted from March to July 2018, targeting dental hygienists working in dental clinics and hospitals. Results: The study of the factors affecting job embeddedness of dental hygienists revealed that along with career, marital status, surface acting of emotional labor, and even emotional hiding and false expression, which are sub-areas of the surface acting, have statistically significant influences on job embeddedness. In other words, in a married dental hygienist with relatively high work experience, the surface acting of emotional labor is found to be high in job embeddedness, and the explanatory power of the model is approximately 53.2%. Conclusions: In order to improve the job embeddedness of clinical dental hygienists, it seems necessary to prepare an effective program to strengthen the surface behavior of emotional labor.
