  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 추적기에 구동하기 위하여 적용된 기존 기계식 방식의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 전자력을 사용하였다. 영구자석과 전자석의 배치와 형상에 따라서 자속밀도를 분석하고 두 개의 자석이 맞대어 있을 때 척력과 인력을 이용하여 태양광 추적기의 회전 매카니즘에 적용하였다.

  • 구조최적화 분야는 작게 보면 구조공학의 한 분야에 불과하지만 그것이 지향하는 목표가 보다 근원적이고 원대한 것일 뿐만 아니라, 설계 자체가 복잡하고 다양한 선택과 결정의 과정인 터에, 세부대상이나 접근방법에 따라 여러가지 부 영역을 포괄하는 방대한 연구 영역을 이루고 있다. 크게 대상으로 보아 단면, 기하, 또는 형상과 위상 최적화 등으로 나눌 수 있고, 보다 상급과제로 그들을 통합하는 배치최적화 등이 있다. 다른 한편으로 방법이나 도구로써 각종 수치계산 알고리즘 및 민감도해석과 함께 CAD나 EXPERT SYSTEMS 등을 활용하는 방법 등이 활발히 연구되고 있는 바, 여기서는 구조시스템이 하나의 대규모 공학시스템이라는 본질적 측면에 입각, 복잡한 대형구조시스템의 최적화를 위한 기본이론과 방법을 다루어 보고자 한다.

Comparison of SARs of Human Heads Exposed to Mobile Phone (이동통신단말기에 노출된 인체 두부에 따른 전자파 비흡수율 비교)

  • A new anatomical head model was implemented based on the MR and CT images of the head of a volunteer whose head shape is close to the domestic standard. In order to compare SARs (specific absorption rates) of heads with different shapes, we calculated SARs in the two anatomical head models. The one is the new model and the other is that of the black race and was made at National Library Medicine in USA. The head model and a phone model were arranged in the computational space to be the touch or cheek position of CENELEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation) and FCC guidelines. From the obtained results, we can see that the smaller head produces the higher whole head-averaged SAR. However, it seems that the localized SAR averaged over 1 g or 10 g is more dependent on the shape of the auricle rather than that of the head size.

  • Recent developments in component technology enable the construction of complex software systems by assembling together off-the-shelf components However, It is still difficult to develop efficient, reliable, and dynamically configurable component-based systems. Unspecified dependencies and behavior on components often has cause the source of the trouble. Therefore, component-based software systems must maintain explicit presentations of inter-component dependence and component requirements. In this paper, I describe the design on repository of component service to deployment, status reporting, and control in component service. Through the existing researches to customize component technology, I present the algorithm that supports dynamic dependency interface in order to reuse context of application.

  • In present study, a supersonic inlet for dual mode ramjets or RBCC/TBCC engines with a wide range of flight Mach numbers is designed. A conical variable inlet configuration is chosen for the inlet design. Geometric relations with angles of compression cones and conical shock waves are used for the design of the inlet configuration. The performance of the supersonic inlet is confirmed by the numerical analysis. The capture area ratio is maintained around 100% from Mach 3 to 8 conditions.

  • The Intense acoustic wave generated by the jet flame at the lift-off causes the vehicle to vibrate in the form of acoustic loads. The DSM-II(Distributing Source Method-II), which is a representative empirical acoustic loads prediction method, is a method of distributing a noise source along a jet flame axis and has advantages in calculation cost and accuracy. However, due to the limitation of the distributing method, there is a limit to accurately reflect the various launch pad configurations. In this study, acoustic loads prediction method which can freely distribute noise sources is studied. by introducing NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) modeling into empirical prediction method. For the verification of the newly introduced analytical technique of the NURBS, the acoustic loads prediction for the Epsilon rocket's low-noise launch pad shape was performed and the results of the analysis were compared with the existing prediction methods and experimental results.

  • Prestressing tendons in a nuclear containment building dome are non-axisymmetrically arranged in most cases. However, simple axisymmetric modeling of the containment has been often employed in practice to estimate structural behavior for the axisymmetric loadings such as an internal pressure. In this case, the axisymmetric approximation is required for the actual tendon arrangements in the dome. Some procedures are proposed that can implement the actual 3-dimensional tendon stiffness and prestressing effect into the axisymmetric model. Prestressing tendons, which are arranged in 3 or 2-ways depending on a containment type, are converted into an equivalent layer to consider the stiffness contribution in meridional and hoop directions. In order to reflect the prestressing effect, equivalent load method and initial stress method are devised and the corresponding loads or stresses are derived in terms of the axisymmetric model. In a companion paper, the proposed schemes are applied into CANDU and KSNP(Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plant) type containments and are verified through some numerical examples comparing the analysis results with those of the actual 3-dimensional model.

Accuracy Analysis of 2-D Direction Finding Based on Phase Comparison (위상비교 방식을 이용한 2차원 방향탐지 정확도 분석)

  • In this paper, the author analyzes direction finding accuracy based on phase comparisons to estimate elevation and azimuth angles of arrival signals. This paper considers the uniform array configurations using four and three elements. In that direction finding structures, I present the analytic expressions for estimated elevation and azimuth angles and then analyze the direction finding errors. And one presents the design guideline of direction finding system in comparison with aspects of accuracy, structure, the number of channels in that structures. The analysis result is similar with simulation one and has difference within $1.2^{\circ}RMS$. From the proposed analysis results, one knows that when SNR is 20 dB and the baseline is half of wavelength, the estimated elevation accuracy of the uniform array using four elements is 1.15 times better than the one of the uniform array using three elements and the estimated azimuth accuracy is same each other. In addition, one knows coning error is eliminated in 2-D direction finding structure.

  • In this paper we investigate the advantages when the GPS Antenna is installed on the rear missile body. In conventional design the GPS antenna locates on the front part of missile. However it causes degraded GPS positioning performance since the missile body blocks the GPS signals. This paper proposes the GPS array antenna design which locates on the rear part of missile body and has the tilted antenna patches to achieve the maximum area of receiving GPS signals. We simulate LOS region of receiving signals and conducted anechoic chamber test to define the effective signal receiving region. And we conduct field test and flight test to check out the enhancement of signal receiving area.
