The higher degree of division of household labor is likely to show the higher degree of psychological well-being. 3) The congruency between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor affects psychological well-being. As the relationship between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor is more congruent. psychological well-being increases. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1) There is no relation between gender-role attitude and psychological well-being for the elderly. 2) The division of household labor affects psychological well-being for husband. The higher degree of division of household labor, the higher degree of psychological well-being. The result shows that husbands are involved in household labor involuntarily. 3) Congruency between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor affects psychological well-being. As the relationship between gender-role attitude and the division of household labor is more congruent, the degree of depression decreases. 4) Wives participate in most of household labor. Gender segregation in household labor is found in elderly family. 5) Health, income, network of children or sibling, and community network affect psychological well-being. The healthier, higher income and stronger network are likely to show the higher degree of psychological well-being.

Family members were either sons, daughters or spouses. The questionnaires analyzed families' perceptions based on a score of 5, the results showed a mean score of 4.2, and items related to maintaining therapeutic tools scored the highest. The application of PR with two hands was perceived by families as more important than PR applied with one hand. In families' attitude toward PR, there was general agreement that families had the right to decide to apply and remove PR. Continuous education and information regarding PR is required to support families.

Purpose: This study examined the mood state, activities of daily living, and attitude toward aging in the elderly according to the existence of a spouse and investigated the relation between these factors. Method: The subjects consisted of 190 elderly people, who were classified into two groups: those with and without a spouse. The data was collected from March to December 2004 using a structured questionnaire that included general characteristics, mood states, instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), and an attitude toward aging scale. The collected data was analyzed using the program SPSS, including descriptive statistics, $x^2-test$, ANOVA, Scheff's test, and the Pearson correlation coefficient. Result: 1. There were significant differences between the two groups in mood state (t=-3.349, p=.001), anxiety-depression (t=-3.350, p=.001), and anger (t=p=.003) in the mood state subscales, and in attitude toward aging (t=2.514, p=.013). 2. There was a significant positive correlation between vigor and IADL (r=.253, p=.012) in the elderly with a spouse. 3. When there was a spouse, there was a significant difference according to gender (t=2.587, p=.012) in IADL. Without a spouse, there were significant differences in mood states according to education level (F=3.315, p=.023), in anxiety-depression according to the presence of illness (t=2.156, p=.033), in vigor according to age (F=3.439, p=.020) and education level (F=5.285, p=.002), and in IADL according to monthly income (F=3.322, p=.023) and the presence of illness (t=2.172, p=.032). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the drop-out from the domestic violence offenders' treatment group programs in Korea, on the assumption that it would be an important challenge to prevent the domestic violence offenders from dropping out from their treatment group programs in order to protect the victim women and improve effectiveness of the programs. For this purpose, the researchers sampled a total of 280 domestic violence offenders who had participated in the domestic violence offenders' treatment programs operated by 65 domestic violence counselling organizations throughout the nation. As a result, it was found that 159(56.8%) out of the 280 offenders had completed the programs, while 121(43.2%) had dropped out from the programs. As a consequence of comparing the two groups, it was disclosed that they differed significantly in terms of cohabitation with spouse and attitude toward sex role. As a result of the logistic regression analysis for the factors affecting the drop outs from the treatment group program, it was found the significant factors were employment, path of being referred to the program and attitude toward sex role.
This study is to investigate the eating habits of 420 businessmen living in urban areas (Taegu, Gumi, Youngchon and Changwon) in Kyungbuk and Kyungnam provinces. This survey was carried out by questionnaires. The results are summarized as the following in the association of demographic variables and eating habits, occupation (p<0.001), age (p<0.01), spouse's occupation, dwelling state, and monthly income (p<0.05) had statistically significant relationships. Middle aged adults placed more attention on eating habits than young adults. High-class professionals, managers and salesmen had a high frequency of 'good' eating habits, while office-workers had a high frequency of 'bad' eating habits. In the association of eating behavior, health status variables and eating habits, the frequency of meals, exercise, sleep, degree of fatigue, life styles, digestibility, and health status (p<0.001) had significant relationships. It seems that eating behavior and health conditions have direct effects on eating habits.
To provide a satisfactory life for the elderly females who are the most impoverished among the elderly social strata, this study is geared towards, and focused on, the exploration on their attitudes towards death. For the purpose of this study, in-depth interviews with females aged 65 and over, who are officially classified as the beneficiary of national fundamental livelihood security, have been conducted. Then, the results from these interviews have been compiled and analyzed through qualitative research methods. As a result of this research, the attitudes of the destitute elderly females towards death are categorized into several themes, such as 'Feeling close to the death through a hard life', 'Positive acceptance of the death', 'Relying on funeral services from government and religious organization', 'Hoping for a death with dignity'. The attitudes of death means to them that 'they can get out of a hard life', and elderly female beneficiaries were positive in their acceptance of this meaning. Those who could obtain funeral services as a part of assistance from government and a religious organization did not feel stressful about their funeral arrangements. However, there were individuals who didn't know if their funeral services would be covered by the government. They were unsure if a funeral service would be held for them, or they would have nobody to hold a funeral for them. Accordingly, they were worried about that. The poor elderly females were unhealthy and indigent, and so, they had death anxiety. Therefore, based on the study results above, some ideas regarding elderly welfare are proposed to enable poor elderly females to face their deaths with dignity.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of care service satisfaction, housework sharing, gender equality consciousness, and gender role attitude on the relationship between work family balance and the psychological well-being of working mothers. This study was conducted from March 20, 2013 to March 26, 2019, with a total of 163 questionnaires for working moms having elementary school children. The results demonstrating the positive effect of care service satisfaction provide policy implications for extending the care service system. Notably, it was confirmed that psychological well-being increased in cases of work-family conflict as housework sharing, egalitarian sex role attitude, and gender equality consciousness increased. Therefore, subsequent study will be necessary to discuss further about sharing the spouse 's housework and raising the gender equality consciousness.
