Effects of Foot Placement and Height of Bed Surface on Load of the Lumbar Spine During Transfer Activity (인체모형 옮기기 시 발의 배치와 옮기는 지면 높이가 허리척추에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of foot placement and height of bed surface on lumbar spine load in a dummy transfer activity. Fifteen healthy male students participated in this study. All subjects were involved in four different conditions according to foot placement (11 figure and $90^{\circ}$ figure) and height of bed surface (44 cm and 66 cm) randomly. Muscular activations of the biceps brachii, rectus femoris, elector spinae using surface-EMG, vertical ground reaction using force plate, and L4/L5 compression force using 3DSSPP (3D Static Strength Prediction Program) were measured and analysed. The results showed that muscular activations were not significantly different for the various conditions except for the rectus femoris on the right side (p<.05). Futhermore, the vertical ground reaction and L4/L5 compression force were significantly different conditions (p<.05). In conclusion, it is suggested that foot placement at $90^{\circ}$ figure is safer for transfer activity compared with the 11 figure.

A comparative study of lower extremity muscle activity in adults in their 20s with flat foot that applied low-dye taping and foot intrinsic muscle strengthening exercise (Low-dye 테이핑과 발 내재근육 강화 운동을 적용한 편평발을 가진 20대 성인의 하지 근육활성도 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of low-dye taping and foot intrinsic muscle strengthening exercise on the muscle activity of the tibialis anterior, calf muscles, and long calf muscles during one-foot standing in subjects with flat feet. The subjects were 16 adults in their 20s with flat feet, and they were divided into low-dye taping (LTG; n=8) and foot intrinsic muscle strengthening exercise (FSG; n=8) groups. Each group underwent the appropriate intervention twice a week for 6 weeks. The muscle activity of the tibialis anterior, long calf muscle, and medial calf muscle was measured. Repeated two-way ANOVA was performed to compare changes in muscle activity before and after the intervention. As a result of muscle activity measurement, LTG significantly decreased between before and after the experiment in all muscles (p<.05). In FSG, only the tibialis anterior significantly decreased between before and after the experiment (p<.05). Therefore, low-dye taping and foot intrinsic muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful for efficient the lower extremity muscle activity of flat foot.

Effect of Microcurrent Therapy on Interleukin-6 Expression in Adjuvant Induced Rheumatoid Arthritis Rat Model (미세전류치료가 아주반트 유도 류마티스관절염 유발 흰쥐의 인터루킨-6 발현에 미치는 영향)

  • 연구목적 : 미세전류 자극이 아주반트로 류마티스 관절염을 유발한 실험동물의 염증반응과 통증에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실험동물의 발허리발가락관절내 염증반응 정도를 나타내는 인터루킨-6(interleukin-6)의 발현과 핫플레이트(hot plate)를 이용한 발도피지연시를 측정하여 미세전류의 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 실험동물은 무작위로 대조군(n=18)과 미세전류를 적용한 실험군(n=18)으로 구분하였고, 각 군당 6마리씩 1일군, 7일군, 14일군으로 배정하였다. 류마티스 관절염 유발후 1일, 7일, 14일에 모든 실험동물의 열통각 역치를 나타내는 발도피지연시와 발허리발가락관절내 인터루킨-6의 발현정도를 측정하였다. 각 집단 내의 기간에 따른 발도피지연시와 인터루킨-6의 면역반응성은 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였고, 사후분석으로는 Duncan의 다중범위검정을 실시하였다. 실험군과 대조군을 비교하기 위하여 독립표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 실험결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 아주반트 주사 1일후, 실험군과 대조군에서 인터루킨-6 면역반응성과 발도피지연시는 비슷한 양상을 보였다. 2) 인터루킨-6 면역반응성은 아주반트 주사 7일, 14일 후 대조군이 실험군보다 유의하게 증가되었다(p<.05). 3) 발도피지연시는 아주반트 주사 7일, 14일 후 실험군이 대조군보다 유의하게 증가되었다(p<.05). 결론 : 이상의 결과로부터, 미세전류 자극이 아주반트로 유발된 류마티스관절염 모델에서 활액 조직내 염증반응을 감소시키고 열통각역치는 증가되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Weight Reduction of the Reusable Launch Vehicles Using RBCC Engines (RBCC엔진을 적용한 재사용발사체의 중량저감효과)

  • Weight reduction of the VTHL / TSTO type of the reusable launch vehicles using RBCC engines are investigated. To predict weight and thrust of the vehicles, equations of motion are analyzed. Analysis results are compared with specifications of existing launch vehicles for validations. For the mission of inserting 2.5 ton payload to 200 km circular orbit, the case A, which uses the RBCC engine in the 1st stage shows smaller weight than the case B, which uses the RBCC engine in the 2nd stage. The weight of the case A shows only 25.8% of a existing rocket launch vehicle's weight.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of modified wall squat exercise after sacro-iliac joint mobilization on balance in normal adults. The total number of subjects was 34, and 17 were randomly placed in the experimental group(EG) and 15 in the control group (CG). The subjects in the EG have conducted the 3 sets of modified wall squat exercise after sacro-iliac joint mobilization per day, 3 times a week for 6 weeks and CG did not conducted the intervention. Comparing the EG's balance pre-test and post-test this study, there was a statistical significance in WDI, CD, AC and AD. In this study, it was confirmed that modified wall squat exercise after sacro-iliac joint mobilization affects balance in normal adults.

  • 디지털기술의 발전으로 원자력발전소의 기기제어시스템은 Single-loop Control과 하드와이어드된 배선을 이용한 제어방식에서 Multi-loop Control과 통신망을 이용한 제어방식으로 변화되고 있다. 이에 따라 기기제어시스템의 단일고장발생시 플랜트 위험도가 증가하게 됨으로 플랜트 위험도 감소를 위한 연구가 필요하다. 위험도 감소를 위한 방안에는 기기제어시스템을 구성하는 기기의 신뢰도를 향상시키는 방법과 제어루프에 작동기기를 적절하게 배치하여 단일고장발생시 플랜트 위험도를 감소시키는 방법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 플랜트 위험도 감소 방안 중 작동기기 할당 방안에 대해 기술하였다.

Effect of ankle strengthening exercise using BOSU ball and taping on plantar pressure in patients in their 20s with hallux valgus (보수볼을 이용한 발목 강화 운동과 테이핑이 엄지발가락가쪽휨증을 가진 20대 환자의 발바닥 압력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of ankle muscle strengthening exercise using BOSU ball and taping on static and dynamic plantar pressure in patients with hallux valgus. Subjects were 26 men and women in their twenties with hallux valgus, and they were randomly assigned to a taping group (TG; n=13) and an ankle strengthening group (ASG; n=13). Each group received the appropriate intervention over a total of 4 weeks, and static and dynamic plantar pressure were measured before and after the intervention. Independent T-test was performed to examine the difference in the amount of change between groups, and paired-sample T-test was performed to determine whether the difference between the pre-post values within the group was significant. The statistical significance level was set as α=.05. As for the ratio of the total body weight of the foot (Foot), the amount of change in the ASG of the left foot was significantly decreased compared to the TG within the group (p<.05). Significantly increased (p<.05). As for the degree of pronation of the foot (MP/change ratio), the amount of change in the TG of the right foot was significantly decreased compared to the ASG (p<.05), and in the force of the foot, the TG of the left foot was the amount of change within the group compared to the ASG. was significantly increased (p<.05), and in the group-to-group change, the amount of change in TG was significantly different than that of ASG (p<.05). Therefore, it can be considered that ankle strengthening exercise using bosu ball and taping are insufficient to give effective change to patients with hallux valgus.

  • RoSE(representation of sensory effects)기술은 A/V미디어에서 제공하는 시청각 효과 이외에 바람/향기/진동 등의 실감효과를 팬/발향기/진동의자 등의 다양한 디바이스와 연동시킴으로써 미디어의 실감효과를 극대화하는 기술이다. 2007년 10월 82차 MPEG회의에 처음 제안된 RoSE프레임워크는 SE(sensory effects), USP(user sensory preferences), SDC(sensory device capabilities), SDCom(sensory device commands)의 표준아이템이 상호 연동하는 시스템 구조를 갖는다. 지난 2월 87차 MPEG로잔(Lausanne)미팅에서는 이들을 현실과 가상을 연결하는 인터페이스 표준을 정하는 MPEG-V(ISO/IEC 23005) 프로젝트의 Part 2(control information)와 Part 3(sensory information)으로 분리 배치하고 오는 7월 89차 런던 미팅에서 CD(committee drait)를 목표로 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML에 기반한 이들 4개의 표준 아이템 구성을 살펴보고 현재까지 MPEG 에서 진행되어 온 RoSE표준화 과정을 소개한다.

  • 소형우주발사체 KSLV-I의 상단부 전자장비 탑재 구조체의 외부면에는 텔레메트리, 원격추적, GPS, 비행종단 시스템의 안테나가 두 개 또는 세 개씩 장착된다. 발사체의 표면에 안테나를 부착할 수 있는 위치는 제한되어 있기 때문에 각 안테나 들은 서로 인접되어 부착된다. 또한 상단부 전자장비들과 지상장비의 성능을 검증하기 위해 수행되는 경비행기를 이용한 비행시험은 각 안테나들이 더욱 근접하여 장착된 상태로 수행된다. 따라서 각 하부시스템의 안테나 사이에 발생하는 간섭현상을 분석하기 위한 연구가 요구된다. 이 논문에서는 시간영역 유한차분법을 이용하여 서로 다른 하부시스템의 안테나 간에 발생하는 간섭영향을 해석하였다. 수행된 해석 과정은 우주발사체의 안테나 방사패턴을 해석하는데 이용될 수 있으며, 향후 우주발사체의 시스템 설계 과정에서 안테나의 배치 방법과 각 하부시스템의 성능 요구조건을 결정하는데 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다.

A Study on Foot Pressure by using an Insole Equipped with the Orthogonal Grid Sensor (직교 그리드 센서가 삽입된 인솔을 이용한 족압분포 연구)

  • In this study, we present a research method to develop a shoe that prevents foot injury by inducing the foot pressure. An orthogonal grid sensor was used to check the foot pressure in the upright standing position, and the change in the foot pressure distribution for various conditions was compared. We checked the conditions for distributing foot pressure efficiently by changing the spring constant of the spring inserted into the sole of the shoe and the foot pressure generated with or without the arch of the insole. In order to minimize the experimental error from the randomness of the human body's behavior, it is possible to predict through foot pressure under certain conditions through finite element analysis that simulates the pressure distribution. By checking the change of foot pressure according to the number and arrangement of springs through finite element analysis, conditions were established to provide more efficient foot pressure. The result can be used for designing footwear for patients with diabetic feet.
