The rice water weevil, Lissorhoptrus oryzophillus are major pests of aquatic rice plant throughout the country. In field, we examined efficacy of Steinernema carpocapsae and Xenorhabdus nematophilus against rice water weevil, Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus. Steinernema carpocapsae showed 71-74.2% mortality after 15days in the field. Also symbiotic bacteria Xenorhabdus nematophilus isolated from Steinernema carpocapsae showed 33.3-58.3% mortality after 15days at vat against rice water weevil, Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus.

The purpose of this study is to interpret Gaudi's philosophy of architecture through an analysis of the design characteristics in his remodeling of Casa Battlo. A review of the literature related to Casa Battlo as well as a field study in Barcelona to see the building were made for this study. The conclusions were as follows; Casa Battle is one of the best examples of Gaudi's attempts at creating a surreal atmosphere and should be evaluated in light of the following considerations: 1) Casa Battle as a remodeled house presented its own restrictions to Gaudi that he overcame by introducing characteristic design elements into the remodeling process; 2) the achievement, a perfect sculpture expressing continuity through a gorgeous colour scheme using different materials and design motifs with a dynamic spiral shape, originated from Gaudi's observations of nature and his experiences working in modeling studios; 3) a visualized embodiment of Gaudi's naturalism and functionalism through the impression of perpetual movement and continuity as formative symbols of genesis, life, death, and transmigration of the soul, originated from Gaudi's personal experiences of the early deaths of several close family members; 4) the design is meant to show the same processes of creation used by nature rather than a mere imitation of nature. Gaudi was not only a person dedicated obsessively to his profession as an architect, but also a rationalist fundamentally in the way he operated. It was expected that this study could be employed as a small stimulus to challenge the paradigm of housing remodeling projects -a hot issue in today's Korea- especially in their philosophical aspect.

본 논문에서는 전자파를 이용한 하지정맥류 치료를 위하여 균일한 온도 분포를 갖는 도파관 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 일반 도파관 안테나보다 균일한 전계 분포를 가지므로 보다 균일하고 넓은 온도 분포를 갖는다. 제안된 안테나는 도파관 개구부에 파장의 1/4 길이의 철사를 설치하여 전계가 가운데로 몰리지 않도록 설계하였다. 정맥류 치료를 위해, 제안된 안테나를 이용하여 인체와 비슷한 돼지 피부에 적용하여 실험하였고, 이를 통해 보다 균일하게 피부의 온도를 올릴 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

몽골은 석탄 매장량이 매우 풍부하고 석유연료를 전적으로 수입에 의존하기 때문에, 석탄액화플랜트 건설에 필요한 충분한 여건을 갖추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 몽골에 하루 10,000배럴의 석유연료를 생산할 수 있는 석탄액화플랜트를 건설할 경우에 대한 경제성분석을 수행한다. 먼저 기존에 있는 산업계의 석탄액화플랜트 프로젝트 데이터와 학계의 연구결과를 토대로 몽골 석탄액화플랜트 건설에 필요한 비용과 기대수명, 그리고 예상 수명기간 동안 운영했을 때 발생하는 운영비용과 소득을 추정한다. 추정된 비용과 소득을 이용하여 네 가지 시나리오(기본, 악화 1, 악화 2, 매우 악화) 하에서의 경제성 분석을 실시한다. 분석결과 투자수익률이 기본 시나리오에서는 45%에 가까우며, 가장 나쁜 시나리오에서도 5%보다 컸다. 이는 몽골 석탄액화플랜트 건설이 경제적으로 충분히 타당성이 있음을 나타낸다.

본 논문은 클라우드 기반의 연관피드백과 비음수행렬분해의 의미특징에 의한 용어 가중치 재 산정에 의한 문서요약 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 연관피드백을 이용하여 사용자의 의도를 문서요약 결과에 반연하며, 클라우드 기반의 비음수행렬분해의 의미특징으로 용어의 가중치를 재 산정함으로서 문장집합의 내부 특징을 잘 나타나기 때문에 문서요약의 질을 향상할 수 있다. 또한 클라우드 기반으로 대량의 빅데이터로부터 효율적으로 문서를 요약할 수 있다.

This paper proposes a system composed of wireless sensor network and cloud to monitor storage environment of pharmaceutical products. Integration of sensor networks to cloud is an emerging architecture offering the benefits of internet for monitoring to be done easily and remotely from anywhere and anytime and at the same time freeing the sensor network from processing, analysis, computational and storage of sensor data.

In this paper, we propose a low-power hibernation technique (LHT) for WUSB over IEEE 802.15.6 hierarchical MAC to improve its energy efficiency. Simulation results show that the LHT also integrate WUSB transactions and WBAN traffic efficiently while it achieves high energy efficiency.
