Heavy-weight Impact Sound Characteristics of Floor Structure of a Small-Sized Wall-Slab Apartment Building having Joist Slab (장선슬래브를 갖는 소형평형 벽식구조 아파트 바닥구조의 중량충격음 특성)

  • In the present paper, as a way of reducing heavyweight impact sounds, in particular, among floor impact sounds which have come to the forefront as a social issue recently, a floor joist slab is proposed that is expected to bring an effect of reducing heavyweight impact sounds through a shift in the natural frequency by installing a floor joist on a flat-type slab to increase the rigidity of the floor slab, differently from the existing method that increases the thickness of floor slab, and the heavyweight impact sound characteristics depending on the floor joist height and interval are interpretively analyzed. As a result of the analysis, though a trend is shown where the sound pressure level decreases as the slab thickness of floor joist increases, and as no difference is shown when thickness is above a certain value, it is thought that there is a threshold for the effect of an increase in floor thickness on blockage of heavyweight impact sounds. Also, as an increase in floor rigidity resulting from an increase in the floor joist height and a decrease in the interval does not lead to a consistent increase in the performance of blocking heavyweight impact sounds, it is thought that a different floor joist height and interval should be applied to each type of house to expect optimum performance of blocking heavyweight impact sounds, and an increase of 100mm in the floor joist height or a decrease of about 100mm in the interval is expected to bring an effect of reducing heavyweight impact sounds by about 1dB to 2dB.

Crack Width Control on Concrete Slab using Half-Depth Precast Panels with Loop Joints (루프이음 반두께 프리캐스트 바닥판을 갖는 콘크리트 바닥판의 균열폭 제어)

  • As the half-depth precast concrete decks are increasingly applied to the construction sites, researches on connection details have been increased. For design of concrete bridge deck with half-depth precast panels, it is required to provide appropriate details of transverse loop joints between panels. In this paper, the structural performance of precast decks was evaluated to investigate continuity of the proposed loop joint details. From the results, the validity of the joints for the continuity of deck was observed in the aspect of flexural strength and crack control. The ultimate strength increased 1.52 times as the reinforcement spacing in the joint was reduced. In terms of crack control, direct crack width calculation for the loop joint showed appropriate results comparing with measured crack width.

  • Composite slab structures consisted with steel deck plate and concrete material show generally anisotropic structural behavior because of different stillness between the major direction and sub-direction of deck plate, and also the structures can be regarded as the laminated slab structures. It is necessary for the composite deck slab structures to carry out the exact vibration analysis to evaluate the serviceability. Also, it is needed to evaluate the exact structural behavior of composite deck slab with a layered orthotropic materials. In this paper, the thickness of lopping concrete and deck plate are used to calculate the material coefficient stiffness of a sub-direction, and an equivalent depth calculated from sectional stiffness of concrete and deck plate is applied to get the silliness of a major direction. The stiffness of two layered composite plates with different depth is determined by laminated theory. It is concluded that the presented method car efficiently analyze the structural behavior of composite deck slab consisted with steel deck plate and concrete material in the practical engineering field.

  • In 1980's, the concrete bridge decks were constructed with 4cm wearing surface layer instead of asphalt concrete overlays. After about 15 year service periods, deteriorations were appeared on the surfaces of highway bridge decks. Various field NDTs and lab tests were done to analysis the cause of the deterioration on the concrete deck surface. The main cause was the corrosion of rebars with thinner concrete top cover than the design value. The rebars with thinner concrete top cover was earlier corroded by penetrated chloride ions. If the appropriate top cover could be achieved, the bare concrete bridge decks can be used without earlier deteriorations.

  • Over-break, which is excavated larger than planned line at tunnel excavation, is inevitable due to the nature of blasting. But regarding the bottom of the foundation, most of the domestic ordering organizations pay only 10 cm thick filled concrete when pouring concrete due to over-break. In accordance, the construction cost will increase greatly if all the depths of the designed over-break are filled only with concrete. When tunnel excavation occurs, concrete filling of 18 MPa(T = 100 mm) and 150 mm~237 mm auxiliary concrete layer and 240 mm concrete track(TCL) are applied to the upper part. The concrete is installed in an excessive amount of about 600 mm between the lower part of the rail and the tunnel rock bed. Therefore, in this study, it is necessary to analyze the concrete crack structure according to the depth of the existing tunnel and the modified tunnel section, and to evaluate the adequacy of the required thickness of the tunnel floor concrete for securing the crack stability of the concrete.

A Study on the Magnetic Properties in Ni-Fe-Co/Cu/Ni-Fe-Co/Fe-Mn Multilayered Thin Films for Magnetoresistive Head (자기저항 헤드용 Ni-Fe-Co/Cu/Ni-Fe-Co/Fe-Mn 다층박막의 자기적 성질에 관한 연구)

  • 자기저항헤드용 Ni-Fe-Co/Cu/Ni-Fe-Co/Fe-Mn 다층박막에서 자기적 성질과 전기적 성질에 관하여 조사하였다. 저 포화자계에서 고 자기저항을 나타내는 스핀 밸브형 다층박막을 제작하기 위하여 Borond이 도핑된 p-type Si(100)기판위에 Ni-Fe-Co 단층박막과 Si/Ni-Fe-Co/Cu/Ni-FeCo, Si/Ni-Fe-Co/Fe-Mn 구조의 다층막을 제작하여 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. Ni-Fe-Co 단층박막의 자기적 특성은 고정된 아르곤 분압에서 박막의 두께 등에 의존성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 Si/Ni-Fe-Co($70AA$)/Fe-Mn 구조에서 Ni-Fe-Co와 Fe-Mn 계면에서의 두 자성층의 이방성 차이에 의해서 발생되어지는 교환자기이방성이 존재하였으며, 교환자기이방성자계값은 Fe-Mn 두께가 $150\AA$일 때 가장 큰 값을 나타내었다. Ni-Fe-Co texture와 교환자기이방성자계값은 Fe-Mn 두께가 $150\AA$일 때 가장 큰 값을 나타내었다. Ni-Fe-Co texture와 교환자기이방성자계값의 의존성을 알아보기 위하여 Ti, Cu를 바닥층으로 사용하였다. Ti을 바닥층으로 사용하였을 경우, 교환자기이방성자계값은 23.5 Oe 정도의 가장 큰 값을 나타내었다. XRD 분석결과, Ti 바닥층이 Cu 바닥층이나, 바닥층이 없는 경우와 비교하여 성막된 Ni-Fe-Co 자성층의 강한 fcc(111) texture를 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 각각의 단층박막과 다층박막에서의 자기적 특성을 측정한 후, Si/Ti($50\AA$)/Ni-Fe-Co($70\AA$)/Cu($23\AA$)/Ni-Fe-Co($70\AA$)/Fe-Mn(150$\AA$)/Cu(50$\AA$)의 스핀밸브구조를 갖는 다층박막을 제작하였으며, 11 Oe의 낮은 포화자계값에서 4.1%의 고 자기저항값을 얻을 수 있었다.

Numerical Simulation for Winnowing Failure of Bed Protection (바닥보호공의 흡출 파괴에 대한 수치모의)

  • 국내 하천에 설치된 횡단구조물은 2009년을 기준으로 약 20,753개로 알려져 있으며 수위 유지, 하상고 유지 등의 목적을 가지고 설치된다. 그러나 낙차를 가진 빠른 유속의 흐름을 형성시켜, 하류 하상에서 국소 세굴을 발생시킨다. 이를 방지하기 위해 횡단구조물 하류에 굴요성 구조(flexible structure)인 돌망태, 블록공, 사석 등으로 이루어진 바닥보호공(bed protection)이 설치되나 유실, 침하 등의 문제가 빈번히 발생되고 있어, 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 이러한 피복 대책에서 일어날 수 있는 파괴 기구인 전단파괴, 흡출 파괴, 경계 파괴, 하상 형태 변화에 따른 하부 침식 중 흡출 파괴(winnowing failure)를 유발하는 흐름을 검토하기 위한 수치모의를 수행하였다. 이때 흡출 파괴는 바닥보호공의 공극으로 미세한 하상 재료가 난류와 침투류의 작용에 의해 침식되어 바닥보호공이 침하되는 것을 말한다. 수치모의는 전산유체동역학(Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD) 모형인 FLOW-3D 모형을 이용하였으며, 난류 모형으로 LES 모형을 적용하고 조밀한 격자를 부여하여 바닥보호공의 공극에서 발생되는 비교적 작은 척도의 와(vortex)를 해상할 수 있도록 하였다. 수치모의에 적용된 횡단구조물은 보, 물받이공, 바닥보호공으로 구성하였으며 특히, 바닥보호공의 형상은 구체(sphere)로 가정하여 다층으로 배치하였다. 바닥보호공의 공극 또는 구체 사이에서 발생되는 유속, 압력 등의 흐름특성을 분석한 결과, 바닥보호공 두께가 두꺼울수록 흡출 파괴에 대해 안정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 바닥보호공 설계를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 향후 입자영상유속계(Particle Image Velocimeter, PIV)와 같이 공극에서 흐름을 측정할 수 있는 방법과 병행한 연구를 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

Formulation and Application of UV-Cured Anti-stain Coating Compounds for PVC Tile (PVC 바닥상재용 광경화형 내오염 코팅액의 제조 및 응용에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 건축자재로 널리 사용되는 PVC 바닥상재 표면의 오염성 및 정전기로부터 보호하기 위하여 기존에 사용하는 광경화형 우레탄-아크릴 수지에 내오염/대전성을 향상시킨 광경화형 내오염 코팅액 개발에 관한 것이다. PVC 바닥상재용으로 사용되는 내오염성이 없는 우레탄-아크릴 수지에 4가 암모늄을 사용한 수용성 대전방지제와 아크릴용 대전방지제, 폴리우리탄용 대전방지제를 수지의 양 대비 함량(wt%) 5~20%로 변화하여 첨가한 후 1000rpm에서 30분간 고속 배합하여 수지의 내오염/대전성을 향상시킨 내오염 코팅액을 제조하였다. 제조한 내오염 코팅액은 코팅 층의 두께조절이 가능한 코팅(Bar-coating)을 사용하여 PVC 바닥상재에 코팅 한 후 내오염성, 대전성, 부착력, 코팅두께 등의 코팅 층 표면물성을 평가하였다. 연구결과, 수지에 수용성대전방지제 15%를 혼합하여 제조한 코팅액을 Bar-coater No.12로 코팅한 코팅표면이 전기저항($3.24{\times}10^9{\Omega}/cm^2$), 내오염도(매직 Test, 먼지부착 Test) 및 부착력(100%) 모두 가장 좋은 물성을 보였으며, 전반적으로 함량이 많을수록 전기저항과 오염도에서 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 대전방지제가 과량으로 들어간 경우 migration 현상이 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Static Behavior of Stud Shear Connector for UHPC Deck (초고성능 콘크리트 바닥판을 위한 스터드 전단연결재의 정적 거동)

  • Typical composite girder has been composed with conventional concrete deck and steel girder. Recently, ultrahigh-performance-concrete (UHPC) deck is proposed in order to enhance durability and reduce weight of deck as well as to increase stiffness and strength of the composite girder. This study investigates that a headed stud is still compatible as a shear connector for the UHPC deck and steel girder composite beam. Twelve push-out specimens are prepared to evaluate the static strength of stud shear connectors embedded in the UHPC deck. The test program proves that the static strength of the stud shear connectors embedded in UHPC well meets with design codes described in AASHTO LRFD. Chosen experimental variables are aspect ratio of height to diameter of stud, thickness of deck and thickness of concrete cover over the head of stud. From the test program, aspect ratio and cover thickness are investigated to mitigate the regulations of the existing design codes. The minimum aspect ratio and the minimum cover thickness given in AASHTO LRFD are four and 50mm, respectively. This limitation hinders to lower the thickness of the UHPC deck. The results of the experiment program give that the aspect ratio and the cover thickness can be lower down to three and 25mm, respectively. Eurocode-4 regulates characteristic relative slip at least 6mm. However, test results show that stud shear connectors embedded in UHPC provide the characteristic relative slip only about 4mm. Therefore, another measures to increase ductility of stud should be prepared.
