This paper was attempting to identify determinants of media repertoires based on new services and technologies. Using the regression and discriminant models, this study examined determinants that included five independent factors such as the degree of innovation, social networks, social influences, demographic variables and media uses. The analyses revealed that all of independent variables except the degree of innovation were significant determinants of media repertoires. Secondly, the results of discriminant analyses showed that terrestrial television use, age, disposable income were significant factors discriminating new media service adopters from the sample. For new media related technologies adopters, family income, and media uses such as newspaper, Internet and radio were significant discriminant variables.

본 논문에서 제안하는 방식은 멀티미디어 공동 작업 환경에서 다중 세션을 잘 유지하기 위하여 미디어 오류 제어를 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 다중 세션의 동시 진행은 각 세션이 사용하는 세션 ID로써 세션을 구분할 수 있고 서로 다른 통신 채널을 이용하여 데이터의 충돌을 피함으로써 허용될 수 있다. 멀티미디어 공동작업 환경에서의 다중 멀티미디어 세션 관리란 멀티미디어 공동작업 환경에서 동일한 또는 서로 다른 응용 프로토콜 이용하는 세션의 동시 진행을 할 수 있는 시스템을 말한다. 각 세션의 생성에 따라 서비스 제공자는 생성된 서비스 제공자 인스턴스(Instance)를 생성하게 되고 이 인스턴스는 부모(Parent)인 서비스 제공자의 자원을 이용하여 다수 세션을 지원한다. 즉, 응용 공유의 다중 인스턴스 처리를 위한 이벤트 분배를 보이고 있다. 이러한 환경에서의 미디어 오류 제어 시스템을 기술한다.

The media addiction of teenagers became a social problem in the era of media convergence. With the national efforts, parents has limited their children's media usage for proper parenting. However, current media environment where personalized media devices such as smartphone and tablet PC are common raises questions about whether the problems of media addiction can be solved with previous approaches. Thus, this study examines how the parental controls to teens' media usage affect their media usage and emotions. According to the results that analyzed 884 teens' responses, the parental controls did not affect their usage. On the other hand, it was appeared that excessive parental controls stimulated to teens' negative emotions. These results show that parental controls are not longer effective in current media environment, which implies that new efforts from their family or government are required in order to prevent teens' media addiction.

The present study surveyed 225 undergraduates to examine their social media use behaviors and their perceptions of usefulness, trustworthiness, and privacy of social media for seeking and sharing health information. 151 respondents reported using social media for health information while 74 reported not using it for health matters. Results show that the most popular medium were social Q&As, followed by blogs and social networking sites. Age, gender, school year, and the presence of a health problem were associated with the social media use behaviors. This study suggests the potential of social media as a desired channel for providing health information to undergraduates.

본 논문에서는 인터넷을 이용한 멀티미디어 자동 응답 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 멀티미디어 자동 응답 시스템은 웹을 기반으로 한 클라이언트/서버 구조를 갖는다. 인터넷을 이용한 멀티미디어 자동 응답서버는 멀티미디어 자동응답안내 및 멀티미디어 디렉토리 서비스에 따라 상대방에게 전화를 걸고, 부재 시에는 음성 및 영상 메시지녹음을 통해 상대방에게 멀티미디어 메시지를 남긴다. 또한 다중 사용자의 계정 관리 및 다중 접속을 지원하며, 멀티미디어 자동 응답을 위한 멀티미디어 안내 정보 제작 도구를 제공한다. 멀티미디어 자동 응답 클라이언트는 멀티미디어 자동 응답 안내 상연 및 전화 걸기, 음성 및 영상 메시지 남기기 서비스, 수신된 메시지 확인 서비스를 제공한다.

This study observes reporters' awareness on the use of social media and their Core Values by using the Theory of Means-End Chain and drawing conclusions from a Hierarchical Value Map (HVM). In order to analyze reporters' knowledge and awareness on the use of social media via the laddering method, in-depth interviews of 46 reporters were conducted. The study showed that reporters consider sense of kinship, well-balanced understanding, and the desire for knowledge to be important Core Values. The results revealed that the convenience in interpersonal communication, development of intimacy in relationships, entertainment and affection, curiosity, the reduction in the cost of the acquisition of information, understanding of trends in issues, a peek into new information and the maintenance of interests, psychological dependability, and quick updates on information items are considered important Consequences of social media. In the Attributes level, the ability to write postings and links on Facebook and readability and 'follow' and 'mention' features on Twitter were confirmed to be important items in social media. The findings infer that reporters that make use of social media use Twitter and Facebook to build a sense of kinship with other users and gain well-balanced understanding by accessing a lot of information through social media. While this study examined the level of reporters' familiarity with the use of social media via the laddering method, the results cannot be seen as a generalization, as the interviewees were reporters from only the major news organizations.

멀티미디어와 웹이 발전해감에 따라 많은 교육부분에서 이러한 컴퓨터 분야를 접복하기위해 부단한 노력을 해왔다. 여러 멀티미디어 매체를 동시에 사용하는 경우에는 기존의 HTML로는 동기화를 표현을 할 수 없었기 때문에, 이러한 기능을 제공하는 새로운 Markup Language를 만든 것이 바로 SMIL이다. 본 논문에서는 SMIL을 이용한 멀티미디어 교육환경을 사용자에게는 교육효과의 극대화를 획득할수 있고, 개발자에게는 교육환경의 변화수용속도의 증가를 얻을 수 있도록 설계 및 구현하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the determinant factors of the social capital construction through socal media focused on social media use, motives, trust. Total of 261, college students participated in this study. The data were analyzed by the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and path analysis based on structural equation model analysis using IBM SPSS 21 and IBM AMOS 21 program. Results show that social media use, motives(employment/reminiscences) and social media trust influenced positively on bridging social capital. Second, motives of use(information/exchange) and social media trust influenced positively on bonding social capital. Finally, social media use, specifically, social media trust generally promotes participatory social capital.

본 연구에서는 하이퍼미디어 및 시간 종속적 문헌의 논리적 구조를 표현하기 위한 국제표준인 HyTime을 이용하여 하이퍼미디어 문헌을 구조화하고 그 구조정보를 기반으로 키워드검색을 지원하는 하이퍼미디어 문헌 검색시스템을 구현하였다.

택시는 많은 사람들이 이용하고 있는 교통수단이다. 특히 버스나 지하철 같은 대중교통 운행시간이 끝나는 야간에는 택시의 이용률이 더 많을 수밖에 없다. 그러나 최근 택시를 이용한 범죄가 많이 발생하면서 택시에 대한 사람들의 불안감이 커져가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 이용하여 택시를 보다 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 시스템과 앱을 설계하였다. 스마트폰의 NFC 기술을 이용하여 인증된 택시에 부착된 NFC 태그를 인식하게 되면 택시정보와 탑승정보를 미리 등록된 지인들에게 실시간으로 전송하게 된다. 그로 인해 탑승자들은 보다 더 안전하게 택시를 이용하게 될 것을 기대할 수 있다.
