Evaluation of Performance Index for Optimization of Food Waste Treatment and Recovery Facility (음식물류폐기물 자원화시설 최적화를 위한 이행지표 평가)

  • This research was performed to evaluate the food waste recovery facility using optimization performance index. In 2014, the generated amount of food waste occupied approximately 27% in total municipal solid waste. The 97.2% of the food waste was recycled and the others were treated through landfill and incineration in the portion of 0.9% and 1.9%, respectively. In food waste recovery facilities of year 2014, the composting and feed facilities were 49.5% and 22.9%, respectively. The feed facility showed higher scores in all technological, environmental, and especially economical evaluations than those of composting facility. As results of overall optimization performance index, the feed facility has higher score of 61.5 than 52.7 of composting facility. It was demonstrated that the feed facility has the advantage, compared with the composting facility.

  • 밀집리더 기능이 지원되는 RFID 리더 10 대를 대전우편집중국 발착장에 4 미터 간격으로 설치한 상태에서 우편용 파렛을 1.2m/s 의 속도로 이동시키며 인식실험 한 결과 만족할 만한 리더 인식률을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 인식실험 결과를 물류관리에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 생각되며, 이를 위해 물류가 이동되는 장소의 차량 발착장에 설치하여 운용할 경우 소기의 목적을 달성할 수 있을 것이다.

  • In the early stage of electronic commerce the technical aspects were regarded as the most important factor for its success, but the economic and managerial aspects gain currently more and more its importance. In this paper some issues are researched which are emerging as essential factor with the development of electronic commerce. Especially this survey was carried out from four managerial aspects which are management strategy, marketing, procurement/logistics and service. The result of this research shows us that the importance level of management strategy and procurement/logistics are low, but that of marketing and service are very high. AHP-Analysis as the result of this paper shows the importance list in rank of service, marketing, procurement/logistics and management strategy.

  • Numerous studies have been conducted to analyze the causal relationships of maritime accidents using natural language processing techniques. However, when multiple causes and effects are associated with a single accident, the effectiveness of extracting these causal relations diminishes. To address this challenge, we compiled a dataset using verdicts from maritime accident cases in this study, analyzed their causal relations, and applied labeling considering the association information of various causes and effects. In addition, to validate the efficacy of our proposed methodology, we fine-tuned the KoELECTRA Korean language model. The results of our validation process demonstrated the ability of our approach to successfully extract multiple causal relationships from maritime accident cases.

  • Environmental value is essential to the survival and development of humans. Environmental value and its importance are being emphasized, and related disputes are being expanded. The concept of green logistics is understood to be the same as that of the environment. As a way to preserve nature and engage in sustainable development, green logistics includes all logistical activities for protecting nature and minimizing or reducing behaviors that harm the environment for all processes, including using and reusing products and abolishing the search for resources by final users. All areas of human activity, such as the political, economic, social, and cultural sectors, strive to protect and preserve the environment and nature. In particular, the preservation of the environment shall be stressed in the economic activities that produce various products and expand the value added, and similarly for the social aspects. Green (environment) logistics aims to protect the environment and expand the prevention of environmental destruction and minimization on Earth. Some important cases and experiences that were introduced and applied in major countries are summarized. This research reviewed previous studies and the concepts of green logistics, including at ports, which represent a key sector of logistical activities. In this paper, air and water pollution at Incheon Port were investigated, and alternatives and system figures related to improving environmental logistics regarding three dimensions-country, company, and civil society-are recommended.

  • 미국 환경단체가 발표한 자료에 따르면, 항만이 대기오염의 주범으로 알려진 자동차나 발전소보다 더 많은 오염물질을 배출하고 있으며, 특히 컨테이너트럭과 하역장비에서 많은 오염물질을 배출하는 것으로 확인되었다. 세계 5위의 컨테이너 물동량을 처리하는 부산항을 비롯하여 많은 항만을 보유하고 있는 우리나라도 적극적으로 항만에서 배출하는 온실가스를 감축하기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 IP-RFID라는 새로운 기술을 이용하여 항만 터미널내의 물류장비(컨테이너 트럭, 하역장비 등)들의 탄소배출량을 실시간으로 관리할 수 있는 모니터링시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 개발하는 모니터링시스템은 개별 물류장비의 탄소량을 실시간으로 측정하여 IP통신을 통해 다양한 사용자에게 직접 정보를 전달할 수 있는 IP-Tag를 부착하여, 개별 물류장비별 탄소배출량을 적극적으로 관리할 수 있는 시스템이다. 이 시스템을 통해 물류장비별로 탄소배출량 관리가 가능해지고 운전자도 실시간으로 장비의 탄소배출량을 확인할 수 있기 때문에, 항만의 탄소배출량을 감축할 수 있을 것이다.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) is appearing by point technology by Ubiquitous environment of new paradigm and Logistics' application. But, RFID chip of this is high price and short bandwidth, low power and interference etc. can become technological problem. This is getting into obstacle in common use. Reader and tag, Embedded software etc.. that is accomplishing standardization is imported paying most expensive Royalty. This paper is RFID cognition system that use PDA in Ubiquitous environment to apply to Logistics system. RFID cognition system processes input/output of fundamental information attaching tag to Logistics of products. And RFID cognition system supports quick and correct and safe synthetic Logistics managerial system through construction of database. This can prove minimization and customer service of Logistics expense. RFID cognition system is advantage that can widen range of application to area that cognition system of existent fixing style can not do. Also, It can expect economical effect through inexpensive system construction.

  • Internationally, manufacturers attempted respectable portion of in-house logistics to satisfy end users and decrease manpower to compete for manufacturing price and quality optimization. Mostly, manufacturers operate variety of facilities such as collaborative robots, conveyor, etc. based on PLC. To achieve it, manufactures shall operate the optimized number of manufacturing processes with logic controlled by computer to reduce human errors. In prior to it, manufacturing industry still own plenty of fields which have not yet been adjusted with automation. For example, we shall put in-house logistics on the issue. This study focuses on manufacturing industry, evaluate efficiency, costs, etc. in all aspects and suggest alternatives by analysis SWAT and OEE, let alone reason of weakness.

Total Factor Productivity Growth and the Decomposition Components of Korean Port-Logistics Industry (항만물류산업의 총요소생산성과 그 분해요인분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate total factor productivity(TFP) growth by stochastic frontier function and to grasp contributing factors of its growth rate by decomposing the total factor productivity into efficiency change, technical progress, scale change, and allocation change. Annual growth rate of total factor productivity for 1990-2003 is 0.019 (1.9%), higher than that of overall industry (0.010). The main component of TFP growth is not efficiency change but technical progress. Contributing factors of total factor productivity growth are change of allocation efficiency in port industry, technical progress in sea-transportation industry, and change of scale efficiency in transportation-equipment industry. The change of total factor productivity shows a decreasing trend since late in the 1990s. The annual technical efficiency of port-logistics industry is less than that of overall industry. Capital elasticity for output (0.391) is higher than labor elasticity (0.227), but scale economy of port-logistics industry is 0.618, which is far from optimal scale economy.

  • IoT(Internet of Things) has become a major issue as new type of convergence technology, expending existing of USNs(Ubiquitous Sensor Networks), NFC(Near Field Communication), and M2M(Machine to Machine). The IoT technology defines as a networking for things, which can establish intelligent links collaboratively for sensing networking and processing between each other without human intervention. The purpose of this study is to investigate to forecast the future distribution changes and orientation of contribution of distribution industry on IoT and to provide the implication of distribution changes. To become a global market leader, IoT requires much more development of core technology of IoT for distribution industry, new service creation and try to use a market-based demand side strategy to create markets. So, to become a global leader in distribution industry, this study results show that first of all establishment of standardization of IoT, privacy safeguards, security issues, stability and value were more important than others. The research findings suggest that the development goals of IoT should strive to boost the creation of a global leader in distribution industry and convenience to consider consumers' demands as the most important thing.
