어촌지역 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구의 지속적인 증가에 따른 갈등관리 방안에 관한 연구 -남해군 미조권역 중심으로-

  • 농어촌지역의 인구감소로 인한 인력난 해소를 위하여 국가적으로 농·어가당 외국인 고영허용 인원을 확대하고 농가의 경우 계절 근로제도 대상 적용 작물 제한을 없애는 등 인력확보를 위해 노력하고 있다. 외국인 근로자와 국제결혼 증가로 인하여 국내 체류 외국인 수는 지속적으로 증가추세를 보이고 있으며, 코로나 19 이전 2019년 12월 말에 체류 외국인이 252만 명으로 대한민국 전체 인구의 4.9%에 해당하며, 통상 학계에서는 외국인 비율이 5%를 넘으면 다문화사회로 분류한다. 지속적인 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구의 증가에 따라 지역사회에서 갈등이 발생하고 있으며, 다문화사회로 분류된 상황에서 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구를 지역사회의 일원으로 인식하고 갈등을 적극적으로 해결할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 남해군 미조권역의 사례를 바탕으로 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구와 원주민과의 갈등관리를 위한 시설물 및 프로그램 계획, 현안갈등과 잠재적갈등 관리 방안을 제안하여 어촌지역 다문화사회의 발전을 도모할 수 있는 실질적인 연구 수행의 의의가 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 인간의 의사소통이 갖고 있는 복잡한 과정을 고려하여 재난 시 위험의 소통방식에서 나타나는 오류들을 분석하고, 안전문화를 정착시키기 위한 방법 중 가장 효과적인 방법의 하나로 "위험소통"을 그 대안으로 제시하고자 하였다. 또한 안전문화를 개인의 과제가 아닌 조직 내에서의 협동과제로 인식하고, 조직 내 소통을 통한 신뢰가 안전문화에 미치는 영향력에 집중하였다. 본 연구의 제안을 통해 위험소통에 대한 새로운 원칙들을 제시함으로써 조직 내 안전문화의 새로운 방향을 도모하고자 한다.

An Overview of Cultural Heritage Research and Policy in Central Eurasia (유라시아 문화유산 연구와 정책 동향)

  • Common issues in research and policy on cultural heritage can be extracted among Eurasian countries although countries in the region show different colors of policies and studies. Among them one thing peculiar to Central Asian countries is that in general they do not have well delineated laws and regulations on the protection of cultural heritage. It may be because they had no enough time and experience to legislate and implement relevant laws and regulations ever since they got independence. Research on cultural heritage in Central Asian countries is often made in cooperation with foreign institutions. As shown in archaeological excavation projects in Central Asian countries, cooperative projects exceed noncooperative ones in terms of size and longevity. UNESCO, through its projects on the Serial and Transboundary World Heritage Nomination of the Silk Roads in Central Asia, also supports countries in Central Asia and others along the Silk Road in order to facilitate inclusion of their cultural heritages in the Tentative List of the World Heritage. With regard to activities on the protection of cultural heritage, while respective countries in Central Asia have made good efforts, they could not produce effective outcomes due to short of budget and specialized manpower. They have rich resources of cultural and documentary heritage but their registered heritages on the UNESCO's World Heritage List and Memory of the World are under-represented because of short of technology and experience among other things. A new trend in cultural heritage studies that combined cultural heritage with tourism has merged in recent years. While some critics have raised some negative questions, this new fashion became popular and will continue with the support of governments of Silk Road countries. In conclusion, Korean institutions are further encouraged to organize cooperative networks for research and policy with respective Eurasian countries.

A Study on the Relationship between Multicultural Awareness and Multicultural Efficacy in Elementary School Students (초등학생의 다문화인식과 다문화효능감과의 관계 연구)

  • The purposes of the study are to understand how multicultural awareness and multicultural efficacy is different and to investigate the factors of multicural awareness affecting the multicultural efficacy. To achieve the goals, the study conducted surveys to examine an interrelation of multicural awareness and efficacy on 329 elementary school students in North Jeolla Province with questionnaires. First, the results showed significant differences in the multicultural awareness and efficacy based on all the ground factors. Second, it was found that elementary school students had significant relations in multicultural awareness and efficacy. Third, the multicultural awareness among elementary school students significantly affected their multicultural efficacy. The study suggests that sustaining multicultural education shall be implemented for elementary school students to have right and positive minds and various studies shall be conducted to nurture values in their lives to live together.

A Study on Model of Constructing the Cultural Database System. (GIS 기반의 문화데이터베이스구축 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to seek the methods of constructing a cultural information system based on GIS. It is impossible for regional culture to be formed apart from its surrounding space, so a study of culture should be based on realizing the features of its space. It is important to note that the elements composing a culture complicatedly interact with each other in their function and continuously change. Also they are interrelated in space and plentiful in their amount. Nevertheless, those studies practised so far in relation to culture and constructing cultural database are too limited in establishing cultural area or community life area required to recognize the regional identity So it is now essential that we should study the methods of cultural expression surpassing objective historical and cultural site maps instead of simple maps depicting historical remains or sites. From this viewpoint, this study tries to find various cultural phenomena in relation to their space through seeking the methods of constructing the cultural database model using XML. In addition, this study tries to construct a base for increasing the utilization of information in making the cultural contents.

An Empirical Study on the Effects of Empowerment on International Marriage Migrant Women -focusing the Feasibility Approach with the Case of Korea - (국제결혼이주여성의 임파워먼트 효과 타당성에 관한 실증 연구 - 한국 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • This paper examined the effects of empowerment on international marriage migrant women. The assimilation, integration, separation, and marginality were as proxy for the cultural adaptiveness. The power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism, masculinity, long term orientation were as proxy for the cultural distance. The self-image, real power, the extent of social participation were as proxy for the empowerment. Based on the analysis of two hundred cases, the following results were found. First, international marriage migrant women's cultural adaptiveness have a positively significant influence on their empowerment. Second, international marriage migrant women's cultural distance have a positively significant influence on their empowerment. Third, international marriage migrant women's cultural adaptiveness and cultural distance have a positively significant influence on their empowerment. This study suggests that cultural adaptiveness and cultural distance are main factors for the empowerment of international marriage migrant women.

A Comparative Study on Suicide Risk between Multicultural Adolescents and Non-multicultural Adolescents according to Age (다문화청소년과 비다문화청소년의 연령에 따른 자살위험 비교연구)

  • This study examines differences between children of multicultural families and those whose parents are native Koreans in terms of the risk of suicide, and how the differences vary depending on age. Analyses were performed using data from the Youth Health Risk Behavior Web-based Survey between 2011 and 2016. Results revealed that the risk of suicide among adolescents of multicultural families were positively associated with their age. But the positive association between suicidal risk and age was not significant among adolescents of native families. The findings of the current study imply that family type(multicultural family) and age have cumulative effects on the risk of suicide among adolescents.

Difference of Cultural competence and Educational needs for cultural nursing competence by Cultural contact experience of Nursing students (간호대학생의 다문화 접촉경험에 따른 문화적 역량과 문화간호역량 교육요구 차이)

  • This study was to identify the cultural competence and educational needs for cultural nursing competence according to the cultural contact experience. The survey participants were 125 nursing students in S university of Gyeonggi-do. The data were collected through self-report questionnaires from October 1 to 31 in 2021. Data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA of the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The cultural competence was 3.49±0.55 points, and the educational needs for cultural nursing competence was 8.25±0.10 points. The cultural competence showed significant differences according to academic score(F=7.465, p=.001), multicultural friend(t=-2.477, p=.016), foreign language communication ability(t=-3.113, p=.002), and suburban multicultural education (t=-2.030, p=.045), and there was no difference in educational needs for cultural nursing competence according to cultural contact experience. It is necessary to provide an educational program that enhances foreign language communication and strengthens qualitative contact experience with multicultural subjects in order to increase the cultural competency of nursing students.

A Proposal of VST-HMD based XR Experience Framework for Immersive Cultural Heritage Site Education (몰입형 문화유산 현장 교육을 위한 VST-HMD 기반 XR 체험 프레임워크 제안)

  • 본 논문에서는 문화유산 현장에서의 몰입형 교육을 위한 VST(Video See-through) 방식의 HMD(Head Mounted Display) 기반 XR(eXtended Reality) 체험 프레임워크를 제안한다. 매장문화재적 요소가 강한 문화유산 현장의 경우 실물이 남아있지 않아 교육 및 체험 측면에서 흥미로운 정보 전달이 어렵다. 최근 모바일 기기의 대중적인 확산에 따라 이를 이용해 문화유산 현장에 소실된 문화유산을 AR(Augmented Reality)로 복원 및 시각화하거나 관련 정보를 제공하는 연구들이 이루어졌으며, 나아가 OST(Optical See-through) 방식의 안경형 AR 디스플레이를 활용하는 사례들도 등장했다. 그러나 이러한 연구들은 기기의 특성으로 인해 몰입감과 사용성 측면에서 한계점을 보였으며, 단순히 소실된 문화유산의 복원된 모습을 정적으로 시각화하는 것에 그쳐 문화유산 현장에 내재된 동적인 역사 스토리를 재현한다는 측면에서 부족한 점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 문화유산 현장에서 VST-HMD를 이용하여 AR 기반의 정적 문화유산 시각화뿐만 아니라 VR(Virtual Reality) 기반의 동적 역사 스토리 애니메이션을 제공하는 XR 체험 프레임워크를 제안하여 더욱 몰입감 있고 만족스러운 문화유산 교육을 제공하는 방안에 대해 검토한다.

Predictors of Multi Cultural Competence of Secondary School Students (중·고등학생의 다문화 역량에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find whether national identity, value orientation, cultural sensitivity influence Multi cultural competence of secondary school students. The significant result out of this research was that Multi cultural competence were different by its concerned variables. The results of hierarchical regression analysis reveal that changes to each of the models were checked by introducing a new group of variables in each stage. Then the influences of the concerned variables including national identity, value orientation, and cultural sensitivity on multi cultural competence were tested through the influence and significance of the variables and the changing explanatory power of the entire models.
