An Exploratory Study on the Use of Korean Traditional Paper as Sewing Instructional Materials in Elementary School (전통한지를 활용한 초등학교 바느질 교육방안에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Korean traditional paper is more than paper itself to the Korean people because of its excellence, compared to western paper, in keeping records, flexibility, strength. air permeability. and blocking ultraviolet rays. It has been used for various purposes such as book-making. covering for walls. windows or floors. making clothes and living appliances. and so on. Notwithstanding these merits. mass-produced paper has been substituted for Korean paper. Recently, however, there is a growing tendency to re-evaluate Korean paper because of its physiochemical properties. traditional beauty. eco-friendliness. and applicability to crafts. Korean paper deserves widely received re-evaluation as teaching materials for the education of ecology. creativity. and traditional arts. The purpose of this study was to find out a way of using Korean paper as sewing materials in Practical Arts classes for the elementary school. Previous researches on what properties Korean paper has and how many kinds of crafts have been made of Korean paper were reviewed. Concrete methods of utilizing Korean paper as sewing materials. especially for the finishing skills of sewing. were also proposed.

Study on Expression Pattern of Jobs in Game from Perspective of Prospective Jobs in Future (미래 유망 직업 관점에서 게임에 나타난 직업의 표현 양상 연구)

  • In this study, it argues that adolescents lack awareness of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and lack of job expression in games, and suggests promising future vocational education through games. Various previous studies reviewed job education, limitations, and educational effects of online games, and studied job expression in the game from the perspective of future promising jobs, and 45 out of 200 jobs appeared in mobile simulation games. It was found that 'content creators', 'drone experts', and 'software developers' were expressed as promising jobs in the future. Although it has a limitation of investigating only the main character's job, it is meaningful that it pointed out that the current game does not sufficiently cover the functional aspects of vocational education for future promising jobs and suggested the need to reflect future promising jobs.

  • This study analyzed the use of scriptwriting and hologram technology for storytelling in the production of locally-centered cultural and artistic content. The musical <WolhwaJeon>, produced in the Gangneung area, was examined as a case study. The process of creating the script for the performance was used to establish the self-identity of the character "carp" and the stage visualization of the folktale "Yeonhwa." Furthermore, the use of hologram technology to actualize the inner expressions of the characters, deliver information, enhance spatiality, and visualize fantasy elements was examined. Through this approach, educational information about local folktales was provided to the local residents, and their pride in their region was heightened. This locally-centered content requires continuous development in a modern society that pursues cultural diversity, and future research is needed to produce and develop traditional and cultural content in other regions.

스타트업 활성화를 위한 대학생 스타트업 교육 방향 및 사례

  • 오늘날의 4차산업혁명시대에서는 전통적인 대기업보다는 신속하게 사업을 추진하는 스타트업이 혁신을 주도하고 있다. 스타트업은 문제 해결에 도전하는 활동을 수행하는 프로젝트 조직으로서, 개인사업자 또는 법인 등 법적으로 인정되는 기업을 설립하는 단계인 창업과는 분명히 구분되어야 한다. 다시 말해, 스타트업 활동을 통해 일정 수준 이상의 사업성을 검증하는 준비 단계의 창업 전 스타트업과 그 결과로 창업 과정을 거친 창업 후 스타트업으로 구분해야 한다. 또한, 현재 대부분의 대학교에서는 다양한 창업 교육교과/비교과 프로그램들을 진행하고 있는데, 실제 대학생 졸업 후 취업률 대비 창업률은 비율이 극히 낮은 실정이다. 이를 감안할 때 대학생에게 창업을 목표로 하기 보다는, 도전적인 창업가 정신을 함양하고 스타트업 활동 중심의 교육을 통해 자신의 진로 적성을 찾고, 그 분야의 스타트업에의 취업을 우선 목표로 하는 교육이 스타트업의 인력난 문제를 해결한다는 측면에서 볼 때 스타트업 생태계 발전에 보다 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 캠퍼스 스타트업 문화 확산을 위한 교육 방향으로 스타트업 관련한 '경험 확대 - 진로 선택 - 실무 체험 - 진로 실행' 단계별 지원을 제안한다. 다음으로 실제 대학교에서 개설하고 운영한 일련의 교육 프로그램으로서 진로 지도, 스타트업 활동 이해, 스타트업 활동용 디지털 리터러시, 스타트업 협력 프로젝트, 스타트업 인턴 준비 교육 과정 및 결과들을 사례로 소개한다.

  • The purpose of the thesis is to clarify the basis and the substance in Sijo of the fixed form of verse. Sijo has the fixed form of verse in the national identity and the subjectivity of the culture up to now. To examine problems suggested above. at first in the point of the culture I researched the continuation of Sijo to the fixed form of verse in 21th centuries. And in the point of the education of Korean I classified into the subjectivity. Through the modem poetry I came to find out that the modern Sijo is displayed the originality between the modem poetry and the ancient Sijo today. To sum up I researched the substance and the originality in Sijo in 21th centuries. In order to study the originality in the basis and the identity in Sijo which have succeeded up to present without interruption, it is to gather more materials, widen an appreciative eye for our culture and deepen the till now study continuously.

  • This study investigated the effectiveness of 'League of Legends (LoL) game school', an e-sports online training program for relieving youth game over-flow. The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's Student Education Institute ran the program. Through this study, it was found that various activities to learn an e-sports game professionally and to explore career paths regarding game had positive effects on students' affections and intrinsic motivation. This study may contribute to helping youth as generation Z understand a healthy game culture.

Need and Contents of Classical River Novels in Secondary Education - Focus on highschool literature textbooks (중등교육과정에서의 고전 대하소설 교육의 필요성과 내용 - 고등학교 『문학』 교과서를 중심으로)

  • In this thesis we set forth the reasons for teaching classical river novels in secondary education, and investigated the guiding principles for content design of high school literature textbooks. Although classical river novels have great significance in cultural and narrative histories, they were previously consistently disregarded in secondary education. First, we looked at the need for including classical river novels in the secondary school curriculum to create a well-balanced education of classical novels, to link this with modern river novels, to teach the narrative styles and esthetics of river novels, and to let students understand the various cultures of the late Joseon Dynasty. Second, we examined two ways of educating students about classical river novels. For exclusively teaching classical river novels, we recommended the means of teaching and provided detailed guidelines by which they can be taught, as well as provided complete information about the family tree, the story unit, and the scene deployment. To establish the link between classic river novels and their modern counterparts, we recommended the process of teaching accession and transition of tradition by introducing the commonalities and the differences across three generations stories, besides discussing the viewpoints of female writers. When classical river novels are introduced in literary textbooks, students will realize the existence of such novels though they may not understand all aspects of the novels. We suggest that teaching and introduction of classical river novels in secondary education as soon as possible.

An Analysis of Mathematical Thinking and Strategies Appeared in Solving Mathematical Puzzles (수학퍼즐 해결과정에서 나타나는 수학적 사고와 전략)

  • Despite the popularity and convenient accessibility of puzzles, the variety of puzzles have led to a lack of research on the nature of the puzzle itself. In guiding certain skills, such as abstractness, creativity, and logic, a teacher should have the thinking skill and strategy that appear in solving puzzles. In this study, the mathematical thinking that appears in solving puzzles from the perspective of experts is identified, and the strategies and characteristics are described and classified accordingly. For this purpose, we analyzed 85 math puzzles including the well-know puzzles to the public, plus puzzles from a popular book for the gifted student. The research analysis shows that there are 6 types of mathematics puzzles in which require mathematical thinking.

The Role and Function of Small Community Library for Foreign Immigrants: the Case Study of Multicultural Library at Wongok-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si (국제이주민들을 위한 작은도서관의 역할과 기능: 안산시 단원구 원곡동 다문화작은도서관 운영사례연구)

  • According to the rapid increase of foreign immigrants, South Korea recently has grown more and more interested in the acceptance of cultural diversity in diverse fields at the whole society. Korea Library Association also has sought the way of multicultural service for foreign immigrants in libraries and many previous researches has suggested those. This paper examines the ways in which small community library functions for foreign immigrants, analyzing on the case of multicultural library located in Wongok-dong, Ansan-si, where about 80% population of residents are foreign immigrants. Ansan multicultural library has two functions in the community. One is the educational place for helping immigrants' settlement and adaptation of South Korea. The other is the cultural place for social integration between immigrants and South Koreans based on mutual understanding and communication. Ultimately this paper shows how values small library in the community has significantly for foreign immigrants.

A Study on Christian Liberal Arts to Cultivate Religious Literacy (종교 리터러시를 함양하는 기독교 교양교육 연구)

  • Purpose of study: The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the role of Christian liberal arts education in university liberal arts education in the 21st century. Research content and method: It examines how liberal arts education has changed with the times, and examines the modern significance of the role of liberal arts education that is requested today. In the rapidly changing reality of the 21st century, the role of liberal arts education, which was neglected by focusing on major-centered professional education, has become important. The need for creative and integrated thinking skills to create and apply new knowledge on their own has been highlighted. Liberal arts education and Christianity have a common denominator, and they can produce richer fruits through mutual communication. Religious literacy is the ability to identify and analyze the fundamental intersection between religion and social, political, and cultural life through various lenses. It can be said that it is the culture that must be equipped as a democratic citizen living in the 21st century. Understanding religion is the most important humanities and culture. Through the cultivation of religious literacy, it will be possible to develop thinking skills and insights to view the relationship between Christianity and various fields of life as a whole. Conclusions and Suggestions: Through this study, the need for religious literacy was expressed, and the direction of Christian liberal arts education requested in this era was sought. Christian liberal arts education that fosters religious literacy is proposed as a way to handle the role of a holistic leader of public society by aiming for convergent thinking and promoting public responsibility.
