문화콘텐츠는 지역 관광산업을 발전시키는데 핵심적인 요인으로 인식이 되어 전 세계 많은 국가들이 자신들만의 문화콘텐츠를 개발하기 위하여 노력을 기울이고 있다. 특히 우리나라뿐만 아니라 전 세계적으로 도시재생을 통한 문화콘텐츠 개발에 많은 관심을 가지고 있는데 그 이유로 도시에서 상대적으로 경제적·문화적으로 낙후되거나 사용하지 않는 유휴공간을 새로이 리모델링함으로써 도시 내 유휴공간을 지역의 특화된 문화예술 공간으로 구축함으로써 하나의 지역 특화 관광산업으로 발전을 하고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 SERVQUAL을 통해 유휴공간을 통해 제공되는 문화콘텐츠가 관광산업에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴 보고자 한다.

우리 협회는 2003년 행정자치부의 민간단체 공익활동 지원사업의 일환으로 자금을 지원 받아 서산시와 함께 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동' 시범사업을 전개했었다. 그 당시 서산시에서는 서산시립도서관을 중심으로 '서산시민 모두가 책 한 권을 함께 읽는다면'이라는 주제로 창작 동화 "마당을 나온 암탉"을 읽고 저자강연회, 원화전시회, 영화상영, 각 종 토론회를 개최하는 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 지역 독서 운동을 이끌었다. 서산시는 2004년 전년의 경험을 바탕으로 자체적으로 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동'을 전개하고 있는데, 모든 시민이 함께 읽을 책으로 창작 동화집 박기범의 "문제아"를 선정하였다. 그 이후 진행된 다양한 행사 중에는 현직 아나운서들이 직접 서산시내 학교를 방문하여 아이들에게 책을 읽어 주는 '낭독회'가 있었다. 사회 유명인사들의 도서관 문화 프로그램 참여의 좋은 계기가 될만한 이번 행사에 참가한 이익선, 정현경, 박시준 아나운서를 도서관문화편집팀이 만나보았다.

It illuminates the representation of Korean dance in the sense of color. The unique color and light of Korean dance reflects the essence of Korean art and the consciousness of Koreans. Therefore, analyzing Korean art, colors and meanings can provide the principle of aesthetic interpretation to re-examine Korean colors. This means that it is necessary to pay attention to the possibility of developing original contents as a humanistic basis, asking the origin of Korean art. The Korean thought and philosophy in which color and life become cultures remain the roots for another re-creating vision of Korean art. Therefore, it is time to establish a system of Korean identity as an art with the expansion of various interpretations of various aesthetic attitudes that recognize Korean dance.

This study was initiated based on the notion that the logic regarding case selection and a perspective for case analysis has never been discussed in previous studies on immigration policy despite its significance. Given the idea, this study investigated levels of integration of immigrants which were operationalized as 1) differences in general conditions of economic, labor, social, and political life between native born and foreign born and 2) level of quality of economic, labor, social life for immigrants. For that purpose, this study analyzed the secondary data set which was a combination of several secondary data sets. Results showed that the countries that belong to traditional immigration regime including Australia, Canada, and US showed higher levels of immigrant integration at various sub categories of integration. Countries that belong to new immigration regime such as Ireland revealed relatively high levels of immigrant integration. The findings from this study implied that integration of immigrants needs to be analyzed with consideration on characteristics of social security policy of each country along with immigration policy and cultural diversity of each country.

2011북엑스포 아메리카(2011BEA)가 지난 5월 24일부터 26일까지 미국 뉴욕 자비츠센터에서 열렸다. 북미 최대의 출판관련전시회인 이번 전시회에 대한인쇄문화협회(회장 김남수)는 문화체육관광부의 지원으로 한국인쇄문화관을 설치하고 직지를 비롯한 한국 인쇄 문화를 홍보하는 한편 수출업체에 대한 정보가 담긴 영문 홍보물을 상담과 함께 배포했다. 또한 수출 전용 홈페이지를 통해 향후 실질적으로 교류할 수 있도록 홍보활동을 전개했다. 특히, 미국, 유럽 등의 최신 동향을 파악, 국내 인쇄물 수출업체에 최신 정보를 제공하는 한편으로 현지 구매자들이 원하는 내용에 대응하는 상담과 함께 해당 업체를 연결해 주는 활동을 펼쳤다. 2011 북엑스포 아메리카(2011 BEA)는 뉴욕, LA, 시카고, 워싱턴 D.C 등 미국 주요 도시서 번갈아가며 개최되고 있으며 Reed Exhibitions가 주최하고 ABA(미국서적상협회), AAP(미국출판협회), AAR(미국작가협회)가 후원했다. 이번 전시회에는 2만 1천여명이 전시장을 찾았다.

지난 30년 동안 서구과학계는 엄청난 변화의 물결이 일어났다. 과학은 무미건조하고 어떤 감동도 주지 못하며 예술과는 거리가 멀다고 생각해 왔다. 그러나 과학과 예술과 함께 자연을 경험하는 두 가지 상호 보완적인 방법의 하나로서 최근 자연 속의 복잡한 모양이 내재하는 규칙을 이해하려는 프렉탈 과학을 통하여 과학과 예술간의 실제적 접목이 여러 가지 방향으로 시도되고 있다. 우리의 미적 감각은 자연에 나타나는 질서와 무질서의 조화로운 배열에 의해서 영감을 받는다. (중략)

The purpose of this study is to examine the progress of negotiations between the two countries regarding the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting on October 4, 1983, as well as the opposition of domestic public opinion, which emerged as an important variable in the negotiation process. Through this, it was intended to lay the foundation for the historical facts necessary to interpret the negotiation process between the two countries over the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting in the context of world history of cultural globalization. As a research method, the historical literature research method was used, focusing on archive documents stored in diplomatic archives. The study revealed that public opinion's movement toward cultural imperialism under domestic political conditions, which had authoritarian control over the media, served as an accidental factor to help carry out the regime's interests of regime protection. Through these findings, this paper interpreted that AFKN-TV's satellite broadcasting, which was implemented under the U.S. Department of Defense plan without the prior consent of the Korean government, clearly shows that Korea has been "semi-forced" into the U.S.-led cultural globalization order.

In this study, we will investigate Nujung culutre of Seobuk-jung in Hamra, which is representative Nujung in the modern period Iksan region, and examine how to use it as local contents. Hamra, where Seobyeog-jeong is located, was an economic center in the Joseon Dynasty. Under the historical and economic background, Seobyeong-jeong was erected by Lee, Chip-chon in 1926. The study of Seobyeong-jeong and Nujung culture erected by the Landloard family of Honam in modern times can be used as an important data for understanding the Nujung culture of modern Iksan Proviance.

The purpose of this study was to find whether national identity, value orientation, cultural sensitivity influence Multi cultural competence of secondary school students. The significant result out of this research was that Multi cultural competence were different by its concerned variables. The results of hierarchical regression analysis reveal that changes to each of the models were checked by introducing a new group of variables in each stage. Then the influences of the concerned variables including national identity, value orientation, and cultural sensitivity on multi cultural competence were tested through the influence and significance of the variables and the changing explanatory power of the entire models.

Globalisation has intensified the international movement of labour and South Korea is no exception. Korea, which in the past was itself a labour-exporting country, has seen a reversal in human mobility since the late 1990's with a rapid growth in immigration and a transformation of a previously almost ethnically homogenous society. In this context, the important questions about the cultural and political implications associated with the construction of minority representations in the media have remained highly unexplored. The starting point of this study is an examination of the vital role of public service broadcasting (PSB) in Korean society, where ethnic minorities have increasingly become visible. The study shows the significant role of PSB in representing cultural diversity in public debates and the ways in which such representations and their dissemination reflect media power.
