In this paper, we design an e-Learning system for the Driver's License Teste studying through the Internet. The proposed system make users to be arrived at the goal for the license in a shorter time by offering learning contents and items according to the item-responses made by the users based on the Item Response Theory. Moreover we design the scheme to give the optimum items and the most necessary content to the user during the learning procedure in the form of concept-based objects. All the items in the problem bank DB maintain their difficulties, discriminations, and guessing parameters as is the case of 3-parameter logistic model. In addition user profile DB stores users' status informations, item responses, and ability parameters. Using these structures and combining agents, we can offer the optimum learning process or dynamic personalized studying structure to the user. We can construct interface agent and content selection and feedback agent with the DB's described above. User can study without any awareness of system operations or personal fitting scheme.

Lots of developments and changes are happening with ICT utilization in the field of education. However, most teachers can't feel the practical efficiency in an evaluation. Specially, they are not keeping and using continuously the evaluation result. Therefore they cannot reflect the results in continuous learning activity of a child. We developed the test management system that supplies the forms, which facilitate the control of the various test items and are suitable for the test types. Through this system, teachers can easily design the tests and develop the content of evaluation. They can improve educational efficiency using various perspective evaluation results.

일선 교육 현장에 우수한 하드웨어와 고속 정보 통신망의 도입으로 패러다임의 변화와 교육 유형의 다양화가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 이러한 변화를 수용하는 학습평가를 위한 노력들은 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교사들이 평가 문항을 간단하게 제작할 수 있고, 다양한 형태의 문항을 쉽게 관리할 수 있으며, 평가 결과를 융통성 있게 확인 할 수 있는 교육 평가 시스템을 구현하였다.

This paper proposes an item based learning system using e-mail in order to motivate learners effectively and avoid the bottleneck problem under highly competitive access situations such as the traditional web based learning. The proposed system has th ree features as follows: first, through e-mail, a learner receives test items depending on his/her level, submit an answer sheet, and then identify an assessment with help messages. Secondly, on the web, an instructor easily constructs item database without any other tools and monitors the status of each learner by identifying the learners' record. Finally, an easy-to-use interaction mechanism enhances the inter-activity between learners and instructors, and the usability of Q&A(Question and Answer) service by incorporating e-mail into the web bulletin board.

One of the potential advantages of computer-based instruction is individualization of instruction. However, this goal has not been fully realized in practice, due largely to limitations of natural language understanding and to combinatorial explosion. It is nonetheless possible to develop CAT(Computer- based Adaptive Testing) Programs which can adapt to students, depending on their performance, by adjusting the length of computer-based tests. The number of questions can be significantly reduced for many individuals, while mastery and nonmastery decisions remain highly accurate. In this paper, We design and implement a Diagnosis System using SPRT(Sequential Probability Ratio Testing). This system supports multimedia object, client/server environment, indvidual feedback, multi-SPRT and maintain student model for individualization of instruction. besides, this system measures coefficient alpha of each problem.

To investigate the current pest management status in Korea, a survey was conducted from 151 students and graduates in the Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries (KNCAF) by on-line. The questionnaire consists of two divisions, basic questions and pest control questions. The basic questions were including the respondent's age, academic status, cultivating crops and cultivating area. The pest control questions were including pest control methods, pesticide selection rationale, and pest forecasting methods. As a summary of basic questions, the respondents in their 20s accounted for 91.2%. Moreover, 34.5% of the respondents had over 3 hectares of cultivating area. The cultivating methods were differed by cultivating crops. As a summary of pest control questions, major control methods were using the conventional chemicals (>66%). To understand the pesticide selection rationale, farmers/respondents made their own decisions based on existing control techniques (30%) or depended on the decisions of pesticide vendors (29%). As for the pest forecasting method, it was mainly conducted by the Rural Development Administration affiliated organization (29%) and the National Crop Pest Management System (27%). Regarding the reliability of the pest diagnosis and pesticide prescription of pesticide vendors, 97% of the respondents marked above average. However, there was no choice on strong reliability. Interestingly, 79% of the respondents agreed to train experts for pest diagnosis and pesticide prescription with high necessity and, in particular, 47% of respondents were very strongly supported. These results suggest that the farmers might be need more qualified experts in pest diagnosis and pesticide prescriptions. Taken together, these survey results would provide important information to understand the current status of pest management by farmers' point of view and useful to set the direction of pest control.

기존의 웹 기반 학습 평가 시스템은 학습자의 선택 기회가 없는 상태에서 일방적으로 제시된 문제지로 평가하게 되거나, 문제 은행에서 임의로 추출한 문제도 단순히 무작위로나 난이도만을 고려하여 문제지를 구성하였고, 그 결과에 대한 성취도의 분석도 한 문제지에 대한 정오표 또는 점수로 단순하게 제시하기 때문에 학습자의 지속적인 학습 관리가 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 문제유형, 과목 및 단원 난이도, 문항 형태, 문항당 배점, 문항당 배당 시간등의 다양한 정보를 가진 유형별 문제 은행을 구축하였다. 학습자는 마치 문제집을 풀고 싶은 유형의 문제를 선택하듯이 문제 은행에서 문제를 자율적으로 구성하여 평가할 수 있는 유형별 문제지나 대학수학능력시험의 기준에 맞추어 자동 구성되는 종합 문제지로 다양하게 평가할 수 있다. 또한, 한문제지에 대한 결과뿐만 아니라 유형별, 월별 성취도 분석을 통하여 평가한 총점에 대한 획득한 점수의 누적 통계를 그래프로 일목요연하게 보여주어 한 학습자에 대한 지속적인 성취도 분석이 가능하도록 구축하였다.

Today the web-based learning management information systems are developed as forms of many ordered learning information systems acting up to the personal characteristics, but the previous systems have difficulty in their mutual working, maintaining, and repairing between the systems, because of their one-sided "push" method or reuse of the contents. Also they were not managed together having the dissimilar learning management systems each. Therefore, I made up for the weak points of the previous systems and embodied the international standard SCORM-based ordered learning management information systems. After adapting to sequencing contents, all systems are supplied; giving lectures, solving the problems, evaluating the learners and the function of successive personalization learning based on the result of the learner evaluation systems.
