개인 휴대용 단말기의 보급률이 높아짐에 따라, SMS 메시지가 또 하나의 새로운 의사소통 수단으로 발전하였다. 특히 통화보다 가격이 저렴하고, 통화 후 따로 적어두지 않아도 자동으로 저장되는 특징으로 인해 약속 등을 정할 때 많은 도움이 된다. 본 논문은 일반적인 정보추출 방법을 적용하여 이러한 SMS 메시지에서 자동으로 약속 시간과 장소를 추출한다. 기계학습 기법으로는 CRF를 이용하였으며, 비속어나 신조어가 많고 줄임말이 많은 SMS 메시지의 특징상 토큰분리나 품사 부착 등의 전처리 언어엔진을 사용하지 않았으며, 대신 Bi-Gram 언어모델을 사용하였으며, 학습 시 사전이나 어휘 등의 다양한 자질들을 적용하여 시스템의 정확도를 높였다.

재난문자는 이동통신망을 통해 제공되며 인터넷망을 통해 포털에서도 제공되고 있다. 현재 국내에서는 다양한 경보 전달 채널들을 CAP 메시지를 기반으로 통합하여 운용하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 따라서 이를 대비하여 CAP 메시지와 인터넷 포털 경보 서비스 규격을 연동할 필요성이 있다. 이 연구에서는 메시지의 정보, 메시지 내용, 수신 지역 정보 등에 대한 CAP 메시지와 인터넷 포털 경보 서비스의 연동규격을 제시하였다.

When a private information security incident occurs, the people who own the information are not acknowledged about their information leakage until those affairs appear in public media. This research aims at developing a mobile alarm system for acknowledging suspicious events to the information owners. The mobile alarm system was designed considering the limited user interface of mobile terminal and concept of "personal information leakage message tree" is deployed. The message tree contains every possible situation about personal information leakage and the leaves of the tree has several choices that the information owner can select. This message tree concept enables each information owner to manager his or her information leakage situation by just pushing a few buttons of mobile device. The contribution of this paper is in design of a comprehensive alarm message tree and development of mobile alarm system containing the message tree concept.

The study was conducted as a quasi-experimental study targeting 60 patients with ischemic heart disease to determine how the smoking cessation program that uses telephone counseling and text messaging (short message) affects smoking cessation self-efficacy, nicotine dependence, co levels, and smoking cessation rate of the first, second experimental group at varying times of arbitration and control group. An examination of the effects of this program revealed the control group to have a significant increase in smoking cessation self-efficacy, smoking cessation rate than the first and second group but a significant decrease in the nicotine dependence, co levels. In addition, although the control group showed a significant increase in smoking cessation self efficacy, smoking cessation rate and a significant decrease in co levels than other groups, there was no difference in nicotine dependence. Therefore, a smoking cessation program that uses telephone counseling and text messaging (short message) for patients with ischemic heart disease worked for the smoking cessation rate and appeared to be more effective, depending on the times of arbitration.

Human beings have been leading their life and desirable social life through communication. Human communication has been changed and expanded through language, letters, printing media, broadcasting media, and more recently network communication media. Since the invention of characters, books have been the human beings' communication medium that have the longest history, and they have preserved and succeeded human spiritual world. Children's picture books are also a communication medium composed of the transmitter of the information, message, medium, and the receiver, and makes the process of communication. The sender: writer, illustrator, and editor, analyzes children, special receiver, symbolizes messages, make up contents and make communication come true by selecting media and effectively delivering them to children. Considering the developmental characteristics of the receiver, children and their desires, visual media such as the writings and illustrations. The writings and illustrations are the most appropriate for communication with children. The first, picture books are for the communication between grown-ups and children, and also that with society for helping children find their identity and perform their roles. The second, through the message of writings and illustrations young children acquire human communication ability of this age. That is, they experience and learn visual communication and letter communication

As financial transactions with a smartphone has become increasing, a myriad of security threats have emerged against smartphones. Among the many types of security threats, Smishing has evolved to be more sophisticated and diverse in design. Therefore, financial institutions have recommended that users doesn't install applications with setting of "Unknown sources" in the system settings menu and install application which detects Smishing. Unfortunately, these kind of methods come with their own limitations and they have not been very effective in handling Smishing. In this paper, we propose a systematic method to detect Smishing, in which the RIL(Radio Interface Layer) collects a text message received and then, checks if message databases stores text message in order to determine whether Smishing malware has been installed on the system. If found, a system call (also known as a hook) is used to block the outgoing text message generated by the malware. This scheme was found to be effective in preventing Smishing as found in our implementation.

현재 교통수단으로 이륜차를 타는 사람들이 점점 많아짐에 따라서 도로에서 많은 사고가 발생하여 사망률이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라서 사망률을 줄이기 위한 해결방법으로 스마트 헬멧을 착용하여 현재 사고자의 위치를 문자 메시지를 통해 경찰이나 병원, 가족들에게 자동으로 문자를 발송하여 현재 위치정보를 파악하여 사망률을 줄이는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.

Although message services in mobile environments provide real-time transfer of various contents such as text, multimedia and location, they can't provide dynamic message services based on analysis of message contents. This paper proposes "message as a service" concept and presents the design methodology for a message platform. The message in this paper is composed of the data part and template part which is in charge of view and functional logic of contents. In addition, two parts of a message are transferred separately. If a terminal device stores message templates, message platform can transfer data part only and thus network traffic can be reduced. Besides an efficient network utilization, we can dynamically update message view and its functional logic by modifying templates.

휴대폰은 통신을 위한 도구다. ‘통신’이라는 용어는 ‘인간의 의사·지식·감정 또는 각종 자료를 포함한 정보를 격지(공간적) 사이에서 주고받는 작용·작위(作爲) 또는 현상’이라고 정의하듯, 휴대폰 역시 원래 목적은 전화 연결을 통해 말을 주고받는 게 근본 기능이다. 부가적인 통신 기능으로 문자 메시지를 보내기도 하고, 파일을 주고받기도 하며, 무선 인터넷을 접속하기도 한다. 무언가 메시지를 건네기 위한 방법이 통신이라면 다음에 소개하는 방법은 어떨까? 휴대폰을 이용해서 허공에 글자를 쓰는 것도 어쩌면‘통신’의 한 방법이 아닐까?

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이라는 개념이 정보통신 분야의 패러다임으로 자리잡은 지 오래임에도 불구하고 실생활에서 이용 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 서비스는 극히 적다 U-Messaging 서비스는 카메라가 내장된 모바일 단말기와 무선 인터넷을 활용하여, 캠퍼스 환경이라는 물리적 공간과 센서를 활용함으로써 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념을 잘 보여주고 있다. U-Messaging 서비스는 이미지 태그가 부착된 명패와 단말기를 이용하여 방문자의 음성과 문자 메시지를 전달하고 사용자는 나중에 방문기록과 메시지를 조회하도록 해주는 서비스이다. 학생과 일반인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가결과 서비스에 대한 인지성, 편리성, 유용성 측면에서 만족할 안한 결과가 도출되었다.
