Recently the ratio of the Internet traffic generated by video streaming applications including video-on-demand (VOD) is getting higher and higher, while P2P-based naive content distribution has been the main source of the Internet traffic in the past. As a result, the paradigm of cooperatively distributed systems (e.g., P2P) is changing to support streaming applications. Most P2P assisted approaches for video streaming today are based on Bit Torrent thanks to its simplicity of implementation and easy adaptability. They, however, have immanent vulnerability to free-riding inherited from Bit Torrent, which inevitably hurts their performance under limited system resources with free-riding. This paper studies the weakness to free-riding of existing Bit Torrent-based video streaming applications and investigates the adaptability of T-Chain (which was originally designed to prevent free-riding in cooperatively distributed systems) to video streaming applications. Our experiment results show that the video streaming approach based on T-Chain outperforms most existing Bit Torrent-based ones by 60% on average under limited system resources with free-riding.

일부 지역에서 서로간의 이해관계 문제로 낙농자조금조성에 참여하지 않고 있지만, 이것은 낙농산업발전에 적극 동참하지 않고 무임승차 하자는 것으로 바람직스럽지 못하다고 하겠다. 따라서 내년에는 낙농인들에 의해 모인 자조금이 다시 낙농인들에게 배가되어 되돌아갈 수 있도록 자조금사업에 박차를 가하면서 모든 낙농가가 동참하기를 바란다.

연간 원유생산량 약 200만톤, 1998년 6월 1일부터 인하하였다고 치면 200만톤의 12분의 7인 117만톤, $5.4\% 인하시 톤당 가격은 29,036원이며 1998년에만도 약 340억원, 1999년도 약 580억원의 혜택을 본 셈이고, 이중에서 약 20억원을 각출하자는 것이었는데 무임승차자가 있었다는 것은 한번 깊이 반성해 보아야할 대목이 아닌가 싶다.

이제 국내에서도 낙농업에 종사하는 모든 분들이 자조금조성의 필요성을 충분히 인지하고 있으며, 이 제도의 효율적이고 적극적인 운영을 위해 자조금조성을 법제화하여 새천년에도 지속사업으로 추진해 낙농산업의 발전을 마련하고자 하니 이제는 '무임승차'라는 불명예를 떨쳐버리고 다시는 우리 앞에 악순환이 지속되는 일이 없도록 하는 자세를 갖추어야 할 것이다.

이제는 뉴라운드협상에서 벌어지고 있는 수입개방 압력 속에서 우리 후손들에게 자랑스런 우리 낙농산업을 물려줄 수 있는 준비가 절실한 시점이라 하겠다. 이에 2000년 1월 1일부터 원유 kg당 1원씩 조성키로 낙농자조금운영위원회에서 결의한 낙농자조금 사업에 한사람의 무임승차자도 없이 모든 낙농가가 한마음 한 뜻으로 동참해야 겠다.

Although infrastructure cost comprises the great proportion of residential development cost, all of it tends to be borne by land developers which develop large area. This brings about free-riding by adjacent small development or built-up area, followed by the equity problem in terms of infrastructure development cost sharing and the privatization of development gain. This study aims to establish the method to analyze free-riding on the transportation infrastructure(roads) and investigate empirically how much the free-riding occurs. It sets several development scenarios to calculate the part generated by Bucheon Sangdong district, the case area of this study, of all the traffic flow on the roads. The Network analysis is used to estimate the proportion, by development scenarios, of traffic flow, travel time, and travel cost. As a result, the developer of Bucheon Sangdong district is responsible for 83% of the construction cost of selected roads. The methodology and empirical result of this study would contribute to determine who are liable for the infrastructure facilitation and to estimate how much of the cost the obligators have to share.

This study derives quantitative data on how much the fiscal deficit of subway operation agencies can be reduced in the process of charging free rides for the elderly in metropolitan subways during peak periods. In smart card data, every trip of elderly is recorded except fares. Therefore, it is required to establish a methodology for estimating the fares of elderly passengers and distributing them to subway opertation agencies as income. This study builds a simultaneous dynamic traffic allocation model that reflects the assumption that elderly selects a minimum time route based on the departure time. The travel route of the elderly is estimated, and the distance-proportional fare charged to the elderly is calculated based on this, and the fare is distributed by reflecting the connected railway revenue allocation principle of the metropolitan subway operating agencies. As a result of conducting a case study for before and after COVID-19 in 2019 and 2020, it is analyzed that Seoul Metro's annual free loss of 360 billion won could be reduced 6~8% at the morning peak (07:00-08:59), and 13~16% at the morning and afternoon peak (18:00-19:59).

P2P 콘텐츠 서비스 모델이 성공적으로 수행되기 위해서는 사용자들의 협업을 높여 무임승차하는 사용자를 줄이는 것이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 P2P 시스템에서 사용자들간의 협업을 높일 수 있는 요소 및 저하시키는 요소를 실증분석을 통해 밝혀내고 P2P 시스템으로 구축된 다지털 콘텐츠 서비스의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The purposes of this study are to investigate students' attitudes regarding group projects and to suggest an effective way to promote collaborative learning using Wiki. This study employed a survey questionnaire, which was distributed to students enrolled in classes provided by a university in Seoul. The result revealed that students preferred individual projects to group projects because various barriers occur in the process of group projects. Students' responses also indicated that rapport among group members influences the success of a group project. In addition, Wiki, as a Web 2.0 tool for group collaboration, was recognized as being useful in terms of promoting openness, modification, and effectiveness. Based on these findings, this study suggests the following for effective collaborative learning: (1) conducting peer- and self-assessments to avoid social loafing, (2) establishing rapport among group members, and (3) using Wiki in an active manner.

프로젝트 학습은 구성원간의 협동을 통해 문제를 해결해 나가는 학습형태로 학습자의 문제해결력을 높일 수 있는 방법이며, 프로젝트 학습에서의 평가는 교사의 조언과 지도를 통해 학생의 학습 능력을 향상시키는데 도움을 준다. 그러나, 협동학습에서는 일명 '무임승차'라는 문제점이 발생할 수 있어 오프라인 상태에서의 학습활동시 교사가 학생 개개인의 프로젝트 학습 능력을 측정 및 관리하기가 정확하게 이루어지기에 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 웹상에서 이루어지는 프로젝트 학습시, 학습자에게 효과적으로 조언과 지도를 통하여 학습수행능력을 향상시킬 목적으로 개별 학습자의 프로젝트활동을 효과적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 평가는 프로젝트 중 평가와 프로젝트 후 평가로 이루어지며, 단계별 평가 기준 관점은 Chard가 제시한 프로젝트 활동 평가 준거를 참고하여 정하였고, 루브릭 평가 방법을 도입하여 세 가지 단계로 제시하였다.
