최근에 지리 정보를 검색, 관리, 분석 할 수 있는 지리 정보 시스템(Geographic Information System, CIS)의 사용이 확대됨에 따라 단순한 수치지도 정보 이외에 좀 더 현실적이고, 사실적인 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 시스템에 대한 요구가 커지고 있으며 이동통신 기술의 발달과 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 지리 정보 시스템의 모바일 시스템화가 급속히 진행중이다. 이러한 현상에 맞추어 무선 인터넷 환경에서 공간 객체의 실제 영상 정보를 보여주는 시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 현장에서 공간 객체에 대한 영상 정보를 검색 할 수 있는 시스템은 현실적 모습 및 상태에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 제공해 줄 수 있어. 공간 객체의 실제 모습이 필요한 여러 분석이나 의사결정이 필요한 분야에서 효율적으로 이용될 수 있다. 공간 객체의 실제 영상 정보를 제공하기 위해 현재 영상을 고려하는 지리 정보 시스템이 개발 중이기는 하나, 이러한 시스템들은 무선 인터넷 환경을 고려하지 않고 있어, 현장에서 공간 객체에 대한 영상을 효율적으로 얻기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 공간 객체에 대한 영상 정보 검색 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위 해 1) 수치 지도 및 영상, 그리고 그 매핑 정보의 구축 방안을 제시한다. 그리고, 2) 제안된 시스템을 전체적으로 설계 및 구현함으로써, 그 유용성을 보인다.

무선 인터넷 환경에서 무선 인터넷 브라우징을 지원하는 휴대폰 단말기는 각 단말기 종류별로 표시 가능한 줄 수, 화면 넓이, 칼라 지원 여부 등과 같이 다양한 표현 능력을 갖고 있음에 따라, 휴대폰 단말기를 통해 클라이언트에 의해 요청된 해당 컨텐츠는 각 단말기의 표현 능력에 따라 응용 서버에 의해 적절하게 변환되어 클라이언트에게 제공되어야 한다. 그러나 변환 작업은 처리 시간이 매우 많이 소모되는 작업이므로 캐쉬를 이용하는 방법이 효율적이다. 그러나, 무선 인터넷 환경에서는 다양한 종류의 휴대폰 단말기가 존재하므로 변환된 컨텐츠는 오직 그 컨텐츠를 요청한 단말기에만 유효하도록 캐쉬에 저장되기 때문에 캐쉬에 대한 적중률이 매우 떨어질 수 있는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 이러한 캐쉬의 약점을 극복하기 위해, 모바일 환경의 응용 서버에서 다양한 단말기를 위한 컨텐츠 변환을 지원하면서도 캐쉬의 적중률을 높일 수 있는 방법을 제안하며 이에 대한 설계를 논한다.

최근 이동 통신 기술의 발달과 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 컨텐츠에 대한 관심이 부쩍 높아지고 있다. 이러한 흐름에 발 맞추어 컨텐츠 및 응용 프로그램의 개발을 용이하도록 하기 위한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼의 표준화 작업도 한창 진행되고 있으며, 우리나라에는 이에 해당 하는 WIPI (Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)라는 플랫폼 규격이 만들어졌다. 하지만 WIPI가 만들어 진지 얼마 되지 않았고, WIPI 플랫폼을 채택하고 이를 활성화 시키고 있는 단말기 제조 업체도 아직 그리 많지 않아 아직 이를 기반으로 하는 컨텐츠는 많이 부족한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI를 기반으로 하는 하나의 컨텐츠로서, 다른 컨텐츠의 부분 기능으로써도 유용하게 제공될 수 있는 무선 단말에서의 공간 지리 정보 제공을 위한 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 1) 모바일 단말에서 지리 정보를 제공하기 위한 시스템에서 제공해 주어야 하는 기능을 분석하고 이를 위한 시스템을 설계하며, 2) 이를 WIPI 에뮬레이터(Emulator)를 사용하여 구현함으로써 설계된 내용의 유용성을 보인다.

Recently, the wireless internet terminals like mobile phones or PDAs prevail in the management of customers. With such terminals, businessmen can get business data and information of customers in real time, in connection with mobile group wares. By the wireless terminals, customers can conveniently get information of goods, search purchase sites, and give orders and do settlement. This paper aims to present the safe data integrity modules of the wireless internet terminal, for service providing correct real-time promotion information, by using users' disposition, situation, Purchase information. This study aims to suggest an implementation methodology of security module for data integrity of mobile internet terminal. This is based on the WTLS of WAP Protocol. This security module is expected to achieve central role in conversion of wireless internet environment and emphasis of encryption technology and safe and calculable wireless communication environment construction

인터넷은 21세기 산업발전의 원동력이며, 인류 역사상 가장 빠른 속도로 확산된 미디어로서 현재 인터넷 비즈니스는 유통은 물론 금융, 주식거래, 경매, 오락, 택배 서비스 등 산업 전반으로 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 빠른 환경변화와 더불어 다양한 인터넷 사업 모델이 계속 새로 등장하고 있으며, 그 중 전자상거래는 더 이상 새로운 기술이 아닌 우리 환경의 필수적인 요소로 자리잡고 있다. 현재 모바일 전자상거래는 시장 형성의 초기 단계로 무선 인터넷 시장의 상황과 수익 창출의 관점에서 볼 때는 무선 인터넷 포탈 서비스의 핵심이 될 것이다. 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 전자상거래를 위한 시스템을 UML (Unified Modeling Language)로 설계하여 시스템의 특성에 맞게 사용자가 시스템을 사용할 수 있도록 한다.

기존의 다양한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼이 WIPI라는 무선 인터넷 플랫폼으로 통합되면서 플랫폼 간의 호환성과 이식성을 제공하여 다양하고 풍부한 컨텐츠들이 개발되고 있다. 인터넷 상의 콘텐츠 표현의 주요 표기 언어인 XML을 파싱하고 뷰잉 하기 위한 XML 처리기 역시 이제, 각종 모바일 단말에 내장되어야 할 필수적인 소프트웨어 중의 하나가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI 기반의 모바일 단맡로의 내장을 위한 효율적 XML 처리기가 설계 구현된다. XML 처리기는 HTTP를 기반으로 하여 서버와 XML 데이터를 교환할 수 있으며, 모바일 단말에 적합하도록 CPU 부하를 덜어주고, 메모리 사용량을 줄이면서, 크기가 작은 Pull 모드 XML 파서를 핵심 컴포넌트로 가지고 있다. 또한, XML 처리기를 사용하여 인터넷을 통해 XML 문서를 전승 받아, 모바일 단말에서 볼 수 있는 간단한 전자책을 개발하였다.

In this paper, a mobile banking system which can provide banking services is introduced. Since a PDA has excellent features like a small-size computer and provides mobility, it has been widely used by salesmen. Therefore, if general banking services can be provided with PDA by using wireless technology, it will be very useful. In addition, it is easy to develop and maintain the client software of PDA because it uses Windows-based operation systems. In this paper, a PDA banking system is introduced. The system is designed and developed based on the techniques of wireless network, security and PDA programming to be used for mobile banking and a prototype system is developed. Moreover, we used the object-oriented modeling technique, UML and Java Beans for programming.

최근 무선 인터넷의 발전으로 인하여 통신 환경의 변화가 급속하게 이루어지고 있다. 또한 PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)의 발전 속도가 일반 데스크탑 PC 의 발전 속도를 상회할 정도로 빠르게 성장하고 있으며, 고성능 모바일 CPU 가 사용되면서부터 다양한 주변기기들을 이용하는 형태까지 발전하고 있다. 이러한 무선 인터넷을 활용한 PDA 의 사용으로 보다 빠르고 다양한 정보의 교환을 할 수 있게 되었으며 사용자의 이동성을 보장하는 서비스의 제공이 가능해졌다. 이러한 무선 인터넷을 활용한 서비스는 현재 시행되고 있는 불법 주차 단속시스템에 신속성과 효율성을 부가하는데 적절하게 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 대중화 되고 있는 PDA 와 무선 인터넷을 이용하여 현장에서 처리되는 불법 주차단속 사항을 주차 관리 중앙센터와 무선으로 연계하여 신속한 견인 및 조치가 이루어 질 수 있는 시스템을 설계 하고자 한다.

Recently, wireless technology is widely used with mobile phone like Handhold terminal, PDA. The technology in internet is moving into wireless internet. The mobile platform technology is especially important as well as internet world. In this paper, commercial mobile products are described and standardization trends are also shown for the new future platform development. M-commerce application service is possible to spread over the mobile platform.

The aim of this study is to present the handover procedures and the performance comparisons of layered mobility management schemes for wireless mobile Internet. To investigate efficient mobility management schemes providing seamless information services in a mobile environment, this paper provided the detailed discussions of existing network layered mobility management scheme, including Mobile IPv4, Mobile IPv6, and new transport layer mobility management scheme, stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) based mobility architecture (SMA). Network simulator-2 (ns-2) was used to compare the performance between Mobile IPv6 and SMA in the wireless mobile Internet environment. Simulation results show that for typical network configuration and parameters, SMA has a lower handover latency, lower packet loss rate, and higher throughput than Mobile IPv6.
