A Virtual Object Hosting Technology for IoT Device Controlling on Wireless AP's (무선 인터넷 공유기에서 사물 인터넷 장치 제어를 위한 가상 오브젝트 호스팅 기술 연구)

  • Recently, as the number of IoT (Internet of Things) devices for personal or home intelligence increases, the need for unified control and cooperative utilization is required. This paper presents a novel idea, proposes methods for virtualizing Internet of Things (IoT) devices and hosting them on the home AP instead of relying on a cloud service or purchasing a new device to do so. For this, the process and profile of the IoT gadgets need to be virtualized into JavaScript-based objects. Then, to execute and control the instances of the virtualized IoT objects on the wireless AP, a novel instance management method and their interfaces are designed. The implementation and performance section demonstrates the proposed system's stability and operability by showing the stress test results while the wireless AP is running for its wireless routing.

  • 해양수산부가 구축한 초고속 해상무선통신망(LTE-Maritime)은 연안으로부터 최대 100km 해역을 항해하는 선박들에게 지능형 해상교통정보서비스(e-Nav)를 제공하기 위한 기반 통신 인프라다. 선박에서 e-Nav 서비스를 제공받기 위해 LTE-M. 무선설비는 선내 고정 설치되어 유선으로 연결된 표시장치와 연동이 필요하다. 이는 공간이 협소하고 밀폐된 소형선박에 설치의 어려움뿐 아니라 선내 센서를 비롯한 다양한 IoT 기기 등과의 연결성에 제약을 줄 수 있다. 또한 선박이 육상의 LTE-M. 기지국과 멀리 떨어질 경우, 다운링크에 비해 업링크 통신품질이 상대적으로 취약해져 긴급 조난 신호를 비롯한 위험상황의 전달에 문제가 발생될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 LTE-M. 망의 무선설비 다각화 사업으로 추진·개발된 소형선용 WiFi 및 업링크 향상용 무선설비의 실해역 성능 시험 방안을 고찰하여, 선내 WiFi 무선 품질을 평가하기 위한 성능 지표를 비롯해 업링크 통신속도 개선 등을 확인하기 위한 상호운용성 성능 시험 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on Automatic Surveillance System using VHF Data Link Protocol (해상이동통신에서 VHF 데이터링크 프로토콜을 이용한 자동감시시스템)

  • In this Paper, We analysed the technical characteristics of a automatic identification system that will introduce in aviation and marine radio stations. IMO's Marine Safety Committee approved revision of chapter V of the Safety of Life at Sea(SOLAS) Convention in 73rd meeting. According to this, AIS will become a mandatory carriage requirement by 01 July 2002. AIS as a surveillance system continuously receives its own position from the GNSS and then repeatedly broadcasts it on a W:.u data link for avoiding traffic conflicts and possible disasters. VHF data link is organized so that a specified number of time slots make up a repeatable frame. Each radio station can autonomously allocate and deallocate slots within the frame using selection algorithm which is called SOTDMA(Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access). The results can be an aid in the continued of understanding technical characteristics for AIS as a broad surveillance system.

  • This paper includes ATP(Automatic Train Protection) simulator development and ATP algorithm verification to allocate wayside and train-borne and verify ATP functions of communications based train control system. The train control system has some characteristics such as simple structure and high safety when wireless communication technology is applied to the train control system. Especially, vital functions can be performed with in wayside and train-borne ATP. However, different system can be realized because I/F contents vary in accordance with vital functional allocation of ATP. Drawing characteristics in accordance with wayside and train-borne functional allocation and drawing I/F details affected by such characteristics are needed accordingly. This paper includes ATP simulator development creating train location information by direct activation of an electric motor, verifies train safety distance control algorithm of ATP by functional allocation such as train movement authority and train speed limit to ATP, and draws any supplementation needed. Appropriate simulated environment for verify ATP algorithm and main factors that affect to the ATP function were confirmed.

  • Recent mobile devices have multiple wireless network interfaces. Therefore, we can use a more 'energy efficient network interface for reducing energy consumption' according to the network environment without depending on a specific network interface. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient wireless network interface selection scheme for mobile devices with multiple wireless network interfaces. The proposed scheme selects a more energy efficient network interface for data communication by using polling. Also, we show that our scheme is more efficient in terms of energy consumption.

  • 모뎀 진단/감시 장치(DM)는 기지국 DM 데이터 수집부와 단말 DM 데이터 수집부로각각 구분되어 DM 장치 내에서 기지국/단말 모뎀 플랫폼을 수용한다. 기지국 변조기, 기지국 동기, 기지국 채널 디코더, 기지국 복조기의 데이터는 기지국 DM 데이터 수집부에서 수집하고, 단말 변조기, 단말 동기, 단말 채널 디코더, 단말 복조기의 데이터는 단말 DM 데이터 수집부에서 수집하여 각각 수집된 데이터를 호스트 PC에서 분석하여 물리 계층 송수신 데이터 및 각종 통계 정보를 사용자 및 운용자가 확인할 수 있도록GUI로 화면에 표시해 준다. 모뎀 진단/감시 장치(DM)는 무선 전송 시스템(HM20)MIMO 구조 기지국/단말 모뎀의 물리 계층에 대한 상태 진단 및 감시 기능을 수행하여 모뎀 개발 과정에서 개발자에게 디버깅을 쉽게 하기 위한 장치로 사용된다. 또한 기지국 모뎀과 단말 모뎀의 유지 보수시 오류 발견을 위한 장치로 사용하기 위함이다.

  • For rapid formed the ad hoc wireless backbone network in disaster scene, It is necessary for real-time deployment scheme of wireless ad hoc relay devices by first responders without pre-planning. However, in order to realize this scheme, redundant deployment should be minimized, as well as optimal location of relay devices should be selected to expand communication coverage. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new deployment scheme of relay devices to optimize communication coverage and then through simulations showed that improved performance of algorithm.
