Korean university libraries has lead the advancement of library service by adopting state-of-art technology for the improvement of information service provision, which therefore contributes to the consolidation of the status of the library as a center of information circulation among related institutions. This paper examines the current conditions of wireless internet service provided by the university libraries. First, it takes 'WDL mobile campus consortium', which is an organized movement with many university libraries involved, and explores their major issues such as wireless internet service environment, platform components, service components and functions, user environment and usage. Finally, this paper makes suggestions for the continuous advancement of the university libraries' wireless services.

본 논문은 이동통신기기를 이용한 무선 데이터 서비스에 관해 분석 고찰하고, 현존하는 무선통신기기를 이용한 비즈니스 모델을 도출 하였으며, 우리생활을 보다 편리하게 할 수 있는 intelligent 공간 관리시스템과 이동통신 기기를 이용한 무선 인터넷 광고 등을 중심으로 한 무선 멀티미디어 서비스의 구현에 관하여 기술하였다.

2004년 이후 미국 IEEE802 표준화 기구에서는 지역별로 사용되지 않는 유휴 TV 방송채널을 비면허 방식 무선접속 서비스용도로 사용하기 위한 기술표준 및 서비스모델 제정 작업이 진행되고 있다. 작은 전파감쇄 특성과 높은 전파투과 특성을 지니는 방송대역 주파수를 활용한 서비스로는 일반적인 이동통신망의 기지국 커버리지 보다 넓은 지역을 커버하는 무선 지역접속망(WRAN)부터 확장된 형태의 무선랜에 이르기까지 다양한 모델이 논의되고 있다. 본 고에서는 미국을 중심으로 논의되고 있는 서비스모델을 중심으로 기술적, 사업적 관점에서 고려될 수 있는 다양한 서비스모델에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

유선 네트워크에서의 토큰 패싱 LAN 접근 제어 방식을 무선 네트워크에 적용하면 네트워크의 높은 부하 상황에서도 안정된 성능을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 트래픽 서비스와 비실시간 트래픽 서비스가 공존하는 인터넷에서 서비스의 질을 지원하는 무선 토큰링 프로토롤을 제안하였다 제안된 프로토콜 메커니즘에서는 실시간 트래픽 서비스 노드에겐 비실시간 트래픽 서비스 노드보다 토큰 수신을 우선적으로서 부여함으로 빠른 전송을 지원하며, 기존의 토큰 전송 방식에 QoS를 지원하는 장점을 가진다.

Wireless internet service is an important factor to support all industries. In order to connect and use the smart phones or the laptop via a wireless Internet connection, it has been increasing the hacking risks associated with it. As information spills through the DNS address modulation of the Internet router, hacking threats through a wireless router is present. In this paper, we are dealing with the hacking technique utilizing the overall vulnerability of a wireless LAN. We analyzed the need for the wireless LAN security through WEP encryption algorithm and the improved encryption algorithm. In addition, we presented a countermeasure against these hacking technologies which is WEP Crack using wireless vulnerability hacking technology, DDoS attacks, DNS Spoofing.

지상파DMB 방송 서비스는 기본적인 비디오 서비스뿐만 아니라 다양한 멀티미디어 방송 서비스를 제공하는 모습으로 발전하고 있다. 그러나 방송망이 가지는 제한된 대역폭으로 인하여 방송망을 통한 다양한 멀티미디어 방송 서비스를 제공하는 것이 어려운 실정이다. 최근 들어, 스마트 폰과 같은 스마트 단말기들의 등장으로 인하여 무선통신망을 통한 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 것이 용이해 졌다. 이러한 시점에서 지상파DMB 방송망과 무선통신망을 결합하는 새로운 방통융합형 서비스의 등장이 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 지상파DMB와 무선통신망을 포함하는 Hybrid 모바일 방송 시스템의 구성을 제안한다. 또한 이러한 시스템을 기반으로 제공 가능한 다양한 서비스 모델들을 제시한다.

무선인터넷 서비스는 이동통신 사업자들에게 강력한 추가수익원으로 떠오르고 있으며, 활성화를 위하여 장기적이고 효율적인 정책대안 수립이 절실한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 무선인터넷 산업의 현실을 올바로 파악하고자 하는 노력의 일환으로 무선인터넷 사용자들에 대하여 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 그 결과를 무선인터넷 이용환경, 이용실태, 평가 등 세 부분으로 나누어 서술하였다. 무선인터넷은 엔터테인먼트용 콘텐츠의 이용도가 높아 여가생활에 도움을 주고 있지만, 실생활에는 아직 큰 도움이 되지 못한다는 평가를 얻었다. 그리고 통신요금에 대한 불만이 가장 높은 것으로 나타나, 무선인터넷 서비스 확산에 큰 장애요인으로 떠올랐다. 그리고 정액제에 대한 높은 선호를 확인함으로써 통신요금 체계도 무선인터넷 확산에 걸림돌이 되고 있는 것으로 판단하였다. 한편 본 조사에서는 전자우편의 이용횟수, 무선인터넷 및 음성통화의 하루평균 이용시간, 통신요금 및 정보이용료 지출액 등에서 여성의 활용도가 활발한 것으로 나타나 이동통신 서비스 확산에서 여성의 역할이 부각되었다. 결론적으로 우리나라는 무선인터넷 서비스 확산을 위한 하드웨어적인 준비는 거의 완료되었으나 요금수준 및 체계, 통신품질, 콘텐츠 등 소프트웨어 측면에서의 준비는 다소 미비한 것으로 판단되며, 해당 분야에 대한 집중적인 연구와 투자가 필요한 시점으로 생각된다.

For Wireless internet service in Metropolitan area, optimum location selection for base station and cell planning are critical process in determining service coverage by accurate prediction of Wave Propagation Characteristics. Due to different kinds of characteristics in service area such as lay of land, natural feature and material, height and width of artificially made building, it has a great impact on the transmission and distance recovery of wireless network service. Therefore, these facts may cause substantial barriers in predicting & analyzing the expected level of service quality and providing it to subscribers. In this thesis, we have simulated the process to improve quality and coverage of the service by adjusting the location of Base station and the antenna angle that influence the service after the basic location of base station is selected according to the wave prediction model. Based on this simulations test, we have demonstrated the results in which subscribers would get higher quality of wireless internet service along with bigger coverage and the improved quality in the same service coverage area through optimization process of base station.

Recently, the wireless data communication infrastructure appearing before the footlights crosses the limit in the wire and develop into the fast speed. Particularly, the issue about the u-Healthcare service using this increases. And the investigation of the quality guarantee of the wireless data network is important for the smooth service providing. However, the quality control research about the wireless network is insufficient because the existing research performs the quality control between the termination about the wired network continually. This paper presented the mobile service quality measurement reference considering the radio environment,that is the method for satisfying the quality guarantee of the wireless data network user offered the u-Healthcare service as the research about this and user needs. For this purpose, wireless data quality measurement indicator and standard was selected. The quality measure evaluation plan was presented according to the service. And each service presented the quality index especially.

본 논문은 스마트기기를 비롯한 무선 단말기의 채널 및 메모리 등의 제약사항에 따른 무선 단말 대 무선 단말의 데이터 전송한계를 극복하기 위한 새로운 데이터 공유 및 전송 방법을 제안한다. 무선 인터넷 서비스 확장에 따른 무선 단말의 전송 및 저장 능력의 한계는 무선 멀티미디어 서비스 발전을 가로막고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 무선 P2P 데이터 전송 및 저장 능력 문제점에 대한 대안을 제시하기 위해서 실시간 백업 전송 시스템(Real-time Backup Transfer System)을 제안한다.
