이 논문에서는 Spark Stream의 Discretized Streams 모델을 기반의 그리드 인덱스를 제안하고, 이를 이용한 이동객체를 위한 연속질의 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 연속질의 처리 방법은 Spark 의 RDD 모델을 이용하여 그리드 색인 및 연속질의 목록을 구현하여, 시스템 고장 시에도 빠르게 복구할 수 있는 내 장애성을 확보 하였다.

포항지역은 인구규모 50만 정도의 중소도시이지만 도심은 항만을 끼고 있고 포항제철 및 연관산업체가 입지하여 선박, 전동기관차 그리고 인근의 공항 등 다양한 형태의 대기오염물질 배출원이 공존하고 있는 지역이다. 지금까지 대기오염배출량 산정에는 주로 자동차 및 산업체 및 주거지역지역과 같은 오염원을 다루고 있으며 기관차, 항공기 및 선박과 같은 오염원에 의한 대기오염물질 배출량 산정은 드물다. 이러한 복합적인 오염원이 존재하는 곳에서의 대기질 관리에 있어 가장 선행되어야 할 사항 중의 하나는 주요한 대기오염 배출원의 파악과 가장 현실성 있는 오염원의 배출목록을 작성하는 것이다. 인터넷의 발달로 데스크탑 컴퓨터만이 아니라 냉장고, 달리는 차안, PDA, 핸드폰 등 생활 영역 곳곳에서 인터넷을 할 수 있다. 이런 다양한 기기에서 누릴 수 있는 서비스의 질은 분명 다르다. 여러 종류의 다양한 서비스를 보장하기 위해서 서비스 제공자는 같은 상품이라도 화질별로 이미지를 가지고 있어야 한다. 전자상거래용 이미지는 같은 상품에 대한 이미지라도 상황에 따라 보이는 크기가 다르다. 카달로그 목록에 있는 이미지는 작은 것을 사용하고 상품을 제시할 때는 확대된 그림을 사용해야 한다. 현재의 서버시스템은 이미지를 크기에 따라 개별적으로 저장한다 따라서 상품을 교체할 때마다 여러 개의 이미지를 동시에 바꿔야 하기 때문에 이러만 시스템은 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 이런 비효율성을 줄이기 위해 수준에 맞게 이미지를 자동으로 처리하여 같은 이미지를 여러 버전으로 보여주는 웹 이미지 서버를 제안한다. 제안된 웹 서버는 사용자를 분류하고 그 분류에 따라 대용량, 고화질 이미지에서 저용량, 저화질로 이미지를 자동으로 처리하여 효과적이고 더 빠른 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 하나의 웹 이미지로도 다양한 수준의 이미지를 가질 수 있기 때문에 서비스 종류 별로 웹 페이지를 만들지 않아도 되고, 저장공간도 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and discuss a newly-constructed metadata database system that facilitates the retrieval of faculty syllabi available on the Internet. This gateway system aims to provide users with one-stop access to syllabi posted by the faculty of the institutes of post-secondary education from all around the world. Several elements of the Dublin Core (DC) and other supplementary elements were used for cataloging the syllabi. The conceptual schema of all the selected elements of the syllabi was developed following the entity-relationship model. The metadata of the syllabi was then stored in a relational database system. Various searching and browsing interfaces were implemented to facilitate effective retrieval. The prototype, named as Gateway to Faculty Syllabi (GFS), is available at http:/Ais.skku.ac.kr/gfs/.

The Ministry of Environment (ME) is planning to adopt in 2020 the IUCN regional Red List for "Guidelines for listing and delisting rare & endangered species and management of endangered Species System". The ME designated 377 species of vascular plants on the regional Red List. In a previous study it had been suggested that 103 species from this list are candidates for the regional Red List. With respect to a possible Red List, we assessed 59 species (after excluding 34 additional NA species and ten endemic species). These assessments indicated that 16 species are at the "threatened" level. Of those, one species is Critically Endangered, ten are Endangered, and five are Vulnerable. A further four species are classified as Near Threatened, 30 as Of Least Concern, and nine as Data Deficient. We found that most of the assessments proposed by the Ministry of Environment were not supported by scientific data, including quantitative geographic data (over 70%) in Criteria B. In order to determine the endangered species belonging to the orchid family, it is necessary to obtain records of illegal activities or data on overcollection. The current problem with the Ministry of Environment Red List has been the lack of management of scientific data on species showing a trend in decreasing population in the mid- to long-term; thus, there is a lack of critical resources for policy-makers. The ME legally designated categories and assessment, and the lack of expertise in failing to comply with the legal law by itself. The key to presenting an accurate overview of the state of Korean flora is to fill the information gaps with respect to significant geographical and taxonomical biases in the quality and quantity of data. By regularly updating the qualified data, we will be able to track the changes in the conservation status of the flora and inform the necessary conservation policies.

This research analyzes the current status of personal name authority control and its impact on the end user searching against OPACs in public libraries in Korea. Further it also suggests the ways to improve the recall ratio in author search with a minimal modification, system-wise and authority-wise. on the KOLISNET as a stepping stone for other public libraries. Finally, a long-term plan for establishing proper authority work in public libraries including the National Library of Korea is briefly proposed. In order to find out whether authority works are conducted and examine how variant written forms of the same foreign name and variant names of the same person are treated, OPACS of the National Library of Korea, KOLISNET, and ten randomly selected public libraries were searched. Findings indicate that while the National Library of Korea was performing authority control, even incomplete, the rest did not appear to conduct any form or authority control. As a spinoff of the research, it is observed that in many public libraries their bibliographic records and retrieval methods are inaccurate, lacking consistency, and incomplete. In sum. it is strongly recommended that (1) as a start for authority work among public libraries personal name authority control should be conducted to enhance the identifying and collocating functions in OPACs, (2) a shared authority database, for which the National Library of Korea's authority database might be used. should be built for Public libraries.

최근 비대면 서비스의 발전으로 서빙 로봇의 역할이 중요해졌다. 호텔, 리조트 등 높은 품질의 서비스를 요구하는 곳에서 서비스 질 향상을 위해 전문화된 인력을 필요로 하지만 개개인의 능력과 인력 부족으로 인해 소비자에게 제공되는 서비스의 질이 균일하지 못하거나 만족스럽지 못하다. 본 논문은 균일화된 높은 서비스를 제공하고 새로운 서비스를 경험할 수 있게 하는 '주문이 가능한 스마트 서빙 시스템 로봇'을 제안한다. 단순한 음식 운반이 아닌 소비자를 맞이하고 앱 인벤터를 통해 주문을 직접 받아 서버에 전송하여 카운터 및 주방에서 주문 목록을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 완성된 음식을 받아 운반하여 소비자의 테이블에 직접 제공하여 기존 서빙 로봇의 불편함을 보완하였다. 초음파 센서를 이용하여 장애물 발견 시 정지하여 안전한 구동이 가능하다. 스마트 서빙 시스템 로봇을 통해 인력 부족 문제를 해결할 수 있고, 인력을 고부가 가치 업무에 집중할 수 있어 서비스 로봇의 발전을 선도하고 식당뿐만 아니라 병원, 물류센터 등 다양한 분야에 적용 할 수 있을 것이다.
