In this paper, a DS (Data Synchronization) server for mobile communication environments is constructed and the suitability and the performance of its operations are validated. The DS server provides a way to update the newest data and keep data consistency for clients (mobile devices). In addition, the DS server constructed in this paper supports various synchronization types, and detects all changes and conflicts. In case of data conflicts, the DS server resolves the conflicts according to the several policies implemented in this work. The DS server conforms to the OMA(Open Mobile Alliance) DS standard protocol for interoperability with other mobile devices and servers. In addition to the transmission-by record scheme proposed by the OMA DS standard protocol, the DS server constructed in this paper also provides the transmission-by field scheme for the enhancement transmission performance between the server and clients. In order to validate its operations, data synchronization between the DS server and the SCTS (SyncML Conformance Test Suit), the suitability validation tool provided by the OMA, is performed. The validation results show that the DS server constructed in this paper satisfies all of the test cases except the Large Object function. The Large Object function will be implemented later because the function is not needed for the personal information synchronization process which this paper aims for. Also, synchronization times of the DS server are measured while increasing the number of data and clients. The results of the performance evaluations demonstrate that the DS server is scalable, in the sense that it has not suffered from any serious bottlenecks with respect to the number of data and clients. We expect that this work will provide a framework for various studies in the future for improving mobile DS operations.

모바일 인터넷 시장은 최근 주목받고 있으며, 소비자의 구매행위에 많은 변화를 가져올 것으로 전망되어 진다. 이에 본 연구는 온라인 인터넷 환경과 모바일 인터넷 환경에서 연구되어 왔던 신뢰와 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 선행연구들을 근거로, 모바일 환경에서 소비자의 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하고, 이러한 영향 요인들이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 검토함으로써, 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 체계화한 후, 실증자료를 바탕으로 연구 가설을 검토하여, 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 구성요인들과 신뢰와 구매의도의 관계를 이론적으로 체계화하고자 한다. 연구결과 유용성, 용이성, 이동성, 유희성이 신뢰에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로, 유용성, 용이성, 신뢰가 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study investigates the usefulness of cellular and 'feature' phones in assisting students with self-motivated study at school and at home. It involves developing educational applications which can be used on these devices which, once developed, would be extended to students. Furthermore, this study seeks to investigate the merits of these mobile applications in assisting learners to study. It is my hope that this study can be used to develop the software to make these applications a reality. This study' ultimate purpose is to contribute to vitalizing and energizing mobile education.

스마트폰을 중심으로 한 모바일 기기를 위한 스마트 서비스 개발에 대한 연구가 다양한 분야에서 지속적으로 진행되어 왔다. 스마트 모바일 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 다양한 문제에 대한 다각적인 접근이 요구된다. 특히 스마트 모바일 서비스 제공을 위해서는 정보에 대한 의미를 해석하고 지능적으로 처리할 수 있는 연구가 필수적으로 요구된다. 이 논문에서는 스마트 모바일 서비스 제공을 위하여 그 기반이 되는 의미 처리 방법들을 제안하고 각각의 장 단점을 분석한다. 특히 이러한 방법들 중에서 정확성을 담보할 수 있는 의미 처리 방법을 위한 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 이 논문은 다양한 환경을 고려하여 보다 지능적이고 사용자에게 편리한 스마트 모바일 서비스 개발을 위한 기초 자료 및 기반 기술로서 활용될 수 있으며, 스마트 서비스 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구에서는 소비자들이 모바일 패션 쇼핑 앱을 선택할 때 고려하는 요인들을 AHP를 활용하여 계층적으로 분류하고 가중치를 계산함으로써 선택요인들의 우선순위를 도출하였다. 현재 모바일 패션 쇼핑 앱을 사용하고 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 설문자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 모바일 패션 쇼핑 앱의 1단계 선택요인들은 경제성, 정보성, 편의성, 신뢰성, 부가서비스로 구성되었고, 이들 중에서 경제성이 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 1단계 요인과 2단계 요인의 가중치를 종합화한 결과에서는 쿠폰 발급 및 할인이벤트가 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났다.

Due to the development of the Internet, there are a lot of information around, and the amount of this information is growing exponentially. The information management systems, which are built to manage the numerous amount of information, helps the user retrieve information more accurately and efficiently. However, mobile systems and its built-in file systems, lack in information management and has a limited processing power for real-time data. This paper suggests the middleware system for effective management of large data and enabling real-time data processing. To show the possibility of middleware, the paper implemented a real-time alarm scheduler, which links web database systems and mobile phones.

The mobile payment service, which shows remarkable growth, appears to have different situations between Korea and China. Based on the recent research, we tried to confirm that there is a difference in the technology readiness index of third-party mobile payment service between Korea and China. The data were collected from a survey of Korean and Chinese university students. As a method of analysis, t-test was conducted for each factor. The results show that there is a difference between China and Korea in all factors of technology readiness. In particular, Chinese users' optimism, innovation and discomfort were higher and insecurity was higher in Korean users. These results are expected to provide a strategic approach to expand the use of third-party mobile payment services.

This study attempts at building a GIS computing environment that incorporates object-relational spatio-temporal database for the time geography model with space-time path, space-time prism and space-time accessibility. The proposed computing environment is composed of ( i ) mobile GIS application for collecting spatio-temporal trajectory data of an individual, ( ii ) spatio-temporal database server that includes time geography model, and (iii) geovisualization client that performs time geographic queries to the spatio-temporal database. The spatio-temporal trajectory data collected by GPS-PDA client is automatically processed and sent to server through data management middleware. The spatio-temporal database implemented by extending a generic DBMS provides spatio-temporal objects, functions, and SQL. The geovisualization client illustrates 3D visual results of the queries about space-time path, space-time prism, and space-time accessibility. This study confirms the possibility of integrating mobile GIS and DBMS for time geography model, and it presents the appropriate database model with spatio-temporal objects and functions that may handle very large data for time geography application.

This study was performed to investigate and analyze users' needs for m-health based prevention and intervention programs that are intended to improve the awareness of metabolic syndrome and promote health behaviors of college students. A questionnaire survey was conducted to 200 college students of 2 university in D city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, chi-square test with the SPSS Version 20.0. The result showed that users wanted customization of prescriptions and accurate measurement of health applications, and provided a positive feedback on information exchange between those who manage their health. The most preferred content was proper exercise methods, and the preferred gamification factors were goal-setting, compensation, and competition. The optimal price for wearable devices was between 10,000 to 50,000 won, and calorie consumption function was also preferred. Although users with experiences of wearable devices and health apps had a higher knowledge score pertaining to metabolic syndrome, there was no significant difference in the overall score. Concerning the health behaviors associated with lifestyles, individuals without the experiences of wearable devices and health apps showed a remarkably lower score. The research has a significance that it investigated and analyzed the contents needed for the development of effective moblie health based prevention and intervention programs targeting the population in their early adulthood. Therefore, based on the findings, we propose a rich and concrete follow-up study on the needs and characteristics of different user types by collecting a population with experiences of wearable devices, and a development of differentiated mobile health based prevention and intervention programs.

본 연구에서는 2006년 태풍 에위니아 이후 고탁수 문제가 발생하였던 소양호유역을 중심으로 탁수원인이 되는 토사유실지역을 효과적으로 선정하기 위한 방법론을 제시하였다. 특히 토사유실모델을 통해 분석된 결과와 함께 하천주변 대단위 농경지 특성, 경사지 및 제방 특성 등을 고려하여 탁수원인지역을 선정하는 기법을 소개하였다. 또한 농경지별 작물종류 자료구축을 위한 모바일 GIS 자료구축 방법 및 지질코드별 가중치평가 기법을 제시함으로서 보다 체계적인 탁수원인지역 조사가 가능하게 되었다.
