Evaluation of Mobile App Usability of Logistics in Life Startups (생활물류 스타트업의 모바일 앱 사용성 평가)

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, startups are leading the proliferation of logistics in life services in countries across the world. Logistics in life startups aim to differentiate themselves for traditional logistics companies by offering customized services that penetrate niche logistics market and enhance customer convenience and satisfaction. Through the development of mobile applications(apps) and platform a variety of life-enhancing services are becoming increasingly available to customers, such as on-demand, online-to-offline, convenience, reverse logistics, as well as last-mile delivery. In particular, logistics in life services are expanding into areas that include food delivery, home moving, cargo transport, laundry delivery, car washing, and car repair. In order for the logistics in life startups to succeed, they needs to offer highly usable apps to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Due to the nature of mobile phones, different evaluation criteria than those for websits should be used to determine the usability of apps. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usability of representative Korean logistics in life apps through usability testing, discuss implications and offer improvement recommendations. Finally, the best Korean logistics app is compared with a top ranked app on Google Play for benchmarking purposes.

Mobile Automatic Conversion System using MLP (다층신경망을 이용한 모바일 자동 변환 시스템)

  • The recent mobile industry is providing of a lot of image on/off-line contents are being converted into the mobile contents for architectural design. However, it is difficult to provide users with the existing on/off-line contents without any considerations due to the small size of the mobile screen. In existing methods to overcome the problem, the comic contents on mobile devices are manually produced by computer software such as Photoshop. In this paper, I describe the Automatic Comics Conversion(ACC) system that provides the variedly form of offline comic contents into mobile device of the small screen using Multi-Layer Perceptorn(MLP). ACC produces an experience together with the comic contents fitting for the small screen, which introduces a clustering method that is useful for variety types of comic images and characters as a prerequisite as a stage for preserving semantic meaning. An application is to use the frame form of pictures, website and images in order into mobile device the availability and can bounce back the freeze images contents into dynamic images content.

  • According to International Data Corporation(IDC) showed that PC sales for the first time ahead of the global smart phone sales in the fourth quarter of 2010. This opportunity as a smart phone application and mobile web-sites has been launched to accelerate the development of mobile services in a variety of fields. In addition to the support plan for the activation of the local traditional market from the second half of 2012 to make it easier to find information on the traditional markets of the country expanded and reorganized the traditional market-related web-site, trying to catch the foot of the youth in the online. This study is to increase the number of tourists visiting the traditional market or local residents and young people and to provide a basis for the development of mobile UI design for mobile application to investigate the local traditional market apps that are currently available.

A suggestion for Mobile Fashion Information using Ontology Technique based on Relation Database (관계형 데이터베이스 기반 온톨로지 기법을 활용한 모바일 패션 정보 제안)

  • Recently, requriements that people want to receive various information related with fashion are increasing. A lot of internet shopping malls and corporations provide information about fashion. However, those systems do not give enough information about fashion. To solve these problems, the paper provides the recommend technique for providing complex fashion information on mobile devices. The providing system implements fasion ontology by using XML. The XML ontology has dewey number as an attribute. The recommend technique uses this number and find LCA(Lowest Common Ancestor) on the fashion ontology. Then those child nodes under the LCA are recommended as related information. The results are displayed on the mobile browser. The system provides function for taking a picture or movie of fashion contents. Those movies and pictures are UCC(User Created Content)s. The system is a novel system that can recommend complex fasion information on mobile devices.

  • Consumers tend to feel concern about disclosure of personal information and, at the same time, to avoid inconvenience of procedural complexity caused by the privacy protections. The purpose of current paper is to investigate relationships between opt-in procedural complexity and shopping behavior using smart phones, moderating by the amount of visual attentions using eyetrackers. Therefore, we created a virtual mobile Web-site in which the complexity of opt-in procedures in our experiment is manipulated and measured. Also, we measured the dwell-time of area of interest using SMI-RED 250 instrument for tracking the real eye movement. Results indicated that the levels of procedural complexity are related to repurchase, indicating a moderating effect of the amount of visual attentions. Finally, we discussed several theoretical and practical implications of management for mobile commerce.

  • 서버의 정보를 관리하기 위해서 직접 telnet, SSH 또는 서버 관리 프로그램을 통해 접근해야 한다. 이러한 불편함을 해소하기 위해 웹사이트에서 서버의 정보를 확인할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 통해 사용자는 웹사이트에서 서버의 폴더 정보를 확인하고 관리할 수 있다. 또한 기존의 이기종간의 서버 관리의 불편함을 개선하며, PC와 모바일에서 모두 서버 정보를 확인할 수 있어 편의성을 높였다.

  • The BBS of Web Site is a space of informational communication to share information. At the moment, countless information is shared through various kinds of BBS. The shared information through the Web BBS can be gains to someone and losses to the other. Thus, for a long time, there have been many researches about technologies, which monitor information uploaded to Web BBS in real-time and inform the results to subjects. For BBS monitoring, existing methods have utilized direct approaches to DB or open API. Also, e-mail addresses have been utilized to inform results to subjects. However, there are two main problems for these methods. The one is a problem on closed BBS, which cannot be accessed, and the other is impossibility of supporting real-time alarm to e-mail. Especially, the real-time support for services, such as monitoring, is extremely important, since the main purpose of monitoring is based on the counter action for the result. The mobile Web has a merit to be accessed in anywhere, so that it is quite suitable for services requiring real-time support. However, the real-time support of mobile device has not been utilized enough, because each mobile phone has different standards of contents so that the contents should be pre-created. This paper suggests a technology that overcomes pitfalls of mobile Web while it is out of standard, and shows how the effect can be maximized through services such as monitoring, which requires the real-time support.

  • According to the 2021 Mobile Augmented Reality Market Report by Korea Innovation Foundation, the augmented reality market has been growing recently due to the growth of the mobile augmented reality market along with the development of smartphones. In order to provide augmented reality services to mobile users, it is necessary to create native apps for each device. However, there are problems such as maintenance costs for multi-platform and low accessibility due to app download. Recently, the construction of augmented reality system in a web-based environment by using the WebXR Device API is in progress, but it is judged that the system using the WebXR Device API is still in the research stage. In this paper, a responsive multi-platform environment was built using the WebXR Device API, Three JS, and React, and a function to provide augmented reality service to mobile and web users was implemented. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the interlocking of augmented reality was successfully implemented in a responsive web environment, and look forward to the augmented reality service operating on the web in the future.

  • 최근 인터넷 환경은 컴퓨터를 이용한 윈도우즈의 환경에서 핸드폰, PDA 등의 모바일 기기를 이용한 다양한 형태로 확산되고 있다. 이로 인해 시각, 청각 장애자나 컴퓨터 초보자도 쉽게 인터넷에 접근할 수 있는 웹 접근성 향상이 많은 분야에서 이루어지고 있다. 이 논문에서는 KADO-WAH 평가도구를 이용하여 교육 관련 기관의 홈페이지를 평가하고 이들 홈페이지의 웹 접근성 지침 준수 여부를 비교 분석한다. 이 논문에서는 교육 관련기관인 대도시 교육청 홈페이지와 부산시 교육청 산하 교육구청의 홈페이지, 그리고 부산시내의 여러 고등학교 홈페이지에 대하여 웹 접근성 지침 준수 여부를 평가하고 비교 분석한다. 그 결과 학부모나 교육 관련 이해 당사자 누구라도 쉽게 교육용 웹사이트에 접근하고 이용할 수 있게 하는데 이 연구의 목적이 있다.

  • 컴퓨터나 모바일 기기 사용자들이 필요한 자료나 정보 등을 검색하거나 콘텐츠가 있는 웹사이트를 찾는 경우, 흔히 사용하는 검색만으로는 어려움을 겪을 때가 존재한다. 이에 본 논문은 이러한 불편함을 최소화하기 위해 스마트폰 이용자가 원하는 콘텐츠를 찾고자 하는 경우, 분야별로 중요한 사이트들을 모아 해당 콘텐츠가 있는 사이트를 리스트로 제공해주는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 이는 사용자들에게 원하는 콘텐츠가 있는 사이트를 좀 더 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 편리성을 줄 것이라 기대한다.
