Analysis of the effects of the hysteretic property on the performance of sequential associative neural nets (계열연상능력에 미치는 히스테리시스 특성에 대한 해석)

  • It is important to understand how we can deal with elements for the modeling of neural networks when we are investigating the dynamical performance and the information processing capabilities. The information processing capabilities of model neural networks will change for different response, synaptic weights or learning rules. Using the statistical neurodynamics method, we evaluate the capabilities of neural networks in order to understand the basic concept of parallel distributed processing. In this paper, we explain the results of theoretical analysis of the effects of the hysteretic property on the performance of sequential associative neural networks.

  • According to rapid growth of web environment, user interface design needs to support the complex interactions between human and computer. In the paper we suggest the object modeling method for Qualify Improvement of User Interface. We propose the 4 business event's object modeling phases such as business event object modeling, task object modeling, transaction object modeling, and form object modeling to enhance visual cohesion of UI. As a result, this 4 phases in this paper allows us to enhance visual cohesion of User Interface prototype. We have found that the visual cohesion of business events become strong and unskilled designer can develope the qualified user interface prototype. And it also improves understanding of business task and reduces prototype system development iteration.

  • New technologies will soon bring fundamental changes to the process of scientific communication. To understand the path that these changes may take in the future, we need to take a careful look at the past. By examining the history of scientific communication, we can see how new technologies can interact with changes in communication forms. By looking at the complex roles that journals have traditionally played, we can better understand how and when journals may incorporate these new technologies. From these models we can project that electronic journals must meet the basic needs that print journals do, that they will initially maintain many of the features of traditional print journals, that their transformation may be driven by external forces, and that they will be slow in reaching their full potential.

  • 상황버섯은 오랜 역사와 전통이 있는 소재로서 폴리페놀류가 함유되어 있어 항암, 혈중콜레스테롤 저하, 혈압강하 등의 약리효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 in vivo 실험을 통해 CPA (Cyclophosphamide)로 유도된 면역저하 마우스 모델에서 상황버섯 투여 농도에 따른 cytokine 활성 효과를 확인하여 상황버섯의 면역 증진 효과를 평가하고, 유효한 농도를 선정하여 시제품을 제작하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 림프기관 장기 무게(흉선, 비장, 악하림프절)와 혈청과 비장의 cytokine이 CPA군(CPA control)에 비해 상황버섯 추출물 투여군에서 유의적으로 증가하였다. 또한 실험을 퉁해 선정한 유효한 농도인 50 mg/kg의 농도로 시제품을 제작하였으며, 상황버섯 특유의 떫은 맛을 감쇄하기 위해 아스코르빈산과 NaHCO3을 첨가하여 최적 배합 비율을 선정하여 음료 200 mL당 상황버섯 추출물 55.6 mg (0.0278%), 아스코르빈산 200 mg (0.1%), NaHCO3 60 mg (0.03%)이 함유 되도록 제작하였다. 본 연구 결과 상황버섯추출물은 CPA로 인해 감소된 사이토카인 분비를 상향 조절함으로써 면역저하 상태를 개선시켜 면역 증진 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다.

  • The importance of technical innovation is increasing gradually in accordance with the life cycle of technology being shortened and the convergence being accelerate. This thesis aims to present the Framework of Competency Model of Techno Leadership capable of utilizing in promoting R&D (Research and Development) Leaders systematically by the technology based enterprise. The characteristic of core behavior necessary for Techno Leaders has been sorted out through the literature investigation and the analysis course of meaning, etc., the competency model of Techno Leadership has been deducted by analyzing the relation with MOT (Management of Technology) capacity being common skill of task necessary for Techno Leaders and the characteristic of behavior based on this through the questionnaire survey. The possibility of application in the field as well has been verified by applying the developed competency model in the actual field of enterprise. The competency model of techno Leadership developed in this research may be utilized in the direction establishment for the promotion of Techno Leadership in the enterprise or laboratory, especially, if would be effective to self-diagnose the core competency necessary for R&D manpower to be grown as the Techno leader in the IT oriented enterprise and to establish the improvement direction.

새로운 측정 모델을 이용한 과학기술 국민이해 조사연구 - 문제 및 이슈와 연관짓기를 중심으로

  • The purpose of this study is to conceptualize PUST (Public understanding or science and technology) with a new theoretical perspective and to measure the Korean PUST through a national survey. Then, it suggests policy implications of improving the Korean public understanding of science and technology. Our new theoretical perspective is focused on an information receiver's one rather than an information provider's one. Thus, we concepualized PUST as a process of engagement: how a citizen becomes to be engaged to science or technology. It does not stress how hard s/he is pushed to learn science or technology. A national survey was done by a face-to-face interview method. About 1,200 adults were sampled from 18 or more years old population by a stratified area sampling method which had been used as a common and reliable one in South Korea. Each half of the total sample were for science or technology. The survey was conducted in September, 2001. We found that many Korean adults had positive but disproportionate impressions of science or technology that were related mostly to utilities for life such as computer, internet, car, refrigerator, television, etc. Most of them failed to continue to be engaged to sciences and technologies after first exposure to them through compulsory education. They were not able to relate sciences or technologies to solving individual or social salient problems. This study shows that PUST would be improved by our engagement to sciences or technologies through their relationship with social problems or issues.

  • In our new learning environment, we were asked to change our teaching method in our Linear Algebra class. In mathematics class, we could use several math-softwares such as MATHEMATICA, MATLAB, MAPLE, Drive etc.. MATLAB was quite well fit with our Linear Algebra class. In this paper we introduce an efficient way of delivery on important concepts in linear algebra by using well-known MATLAB/ATLAST M-files which we downloded from http://www.umassd.edu/specialprograms/atlast/.

Exponent Study of the p($2{\times}1$) Phase on an O/W(110) Surface (O/W(110) 표면의 p($2{\times}1$) 구조의 임계지수 연구)

  • Abstract-Using a high resolution low energy electron diffraction(HRLEED), we report an exponent study of 2d continuous phase transition from an ordered ~ ( 2 x 1 )ox ygen overlayer on a W(110) surface. Temperature dependence of a (% 0) superlattice diffraction spot, characteristic of the p(2X 1) structure, shows power-law like divergence of the susceptibility and the fluctuation correlation length at T,=708.765 K. By fitting the intensities as well as the line-shapes, we obtained exponents P=0.19* 0.05, y=1.48+ 0.34, v= 1.23i 0.27 and q=0.38+ 0.12. The non-universal character of the exponents are understood in terms of a 2d XY model with cubic anisotropy as suggested previously.

  • 소프트웨어 개발의 본질은 매우 복잡하다. 이는 서로 맞물려 돌아가도록 여러 컨셉들을 명세화하고 설계하여 검증해야 하기 때문이다. 또한 문제영역에 들어맞도록 개발해내도 여전히 실세계 엔티티(entities)간의 관계를 정의해 줘야 하고, 예외적인 상황을 식별해야 하며, 각각의 상태 변화를 예측해야 하기 때문에 여전히 복잡한 행위일 수밖에 없다. 이와 같은 복잡도를 낮추기 위해 비주얼한 기호형태에 기반을 둔 개발에 도움을 받을 수 있다. 그러나 개발의 중심에 인간이 있다는 데에는 변함이 없어야 한다. 또한 기계가 아닌 좀 더 인간적이고, 자동화가 아닌 실제적인 창작의 주체로서 개발자들을 '인간'이라는 사회적 대상으로서 초점을 둘 필요가 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 개발자간의 의사소통과 자유로운 창작활동을 위한 설계법을 인문사회영역에서 접근함으로서 개발자간에 '이해'의 폭을 증대시키기 위한 객체의 관계와 설계에 대한 재 정립이다. 이를위해 소프트웨어 개발상의 요소의 선택과 관계의 표현에 대해 기존의 기호체계에만 의존하지 않고 인간의 언어구조에 기반을 둔 구문체계에 상응하는 방식을 사용하는 것으로 구문기반의 관계의 성립과 그것을 지배하는 원리를 수립한다.

Investigate input and output item and suggest the calculating methods that are generally accepted. 3. Suggest the general process on feasibility study for reconstruction apartment project.
