A Study of the Relationship between Learners' Motivation to Learn and Metacognition in Project-based Learning in the School Libraries (도서관 프로젝트학습에서 학습자의 학습동기와 메타인지의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study focused on the relationship between learners' motivation to learn and metacognition in project-based learning in the school libraries. A holistic teaching/learning process was conducted, including design, practice, and assessment of project-based learning in the school libraries. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between learners' motivation to learn and metacognition in project-based learning in the school libraries. Consequently, it is inferred that project-based learning in the school libraries has a relation on learners establishing their metacognition.

The effect of contents presentation types, levels and metacognition on concept map in online learning (온라인 학습에서 콘텐츠의 제시유형과 제시수준, 메타인지가 학습에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was executed to give a help in planning and implementing online learning. For this purpose this study investigated the effect of contents presentation types, levels and metacognition on concept map composition and learning process in online learning. Learning contents types were two, meaning-centered or context-centered. Contents levels were divided into two; basic or deficient. Metacognition was divided into two levels according to the scores of scale. Results showed that meaning-centered type(M=45.00, SE=1.97) got better scores in concept map than context-centered(M=34.71, SE=1.98), Presentation levels and metacognition had no significant influence on concept map. There were interaction effect(F=.002, p>.05) between presentation levels and metacogntion levels. The upper group in metacognition got higher score in deficient types whereas the lower group got higher score in basic type. In online learning process, learner's metacognition was an important factor to complement the contents' defect and lack.

  • Internet makes it possible to access anytime, anywhere learning and so many LMS(Learning Management Systems) serve web based learning. But LMS has not flexible and qualified metadata to offer customired teaming. So we need extensible and flexible techniques which make if possible to define and share advanced teaming metadata. This paper presents an approach for implementing advanced learning metadata in LMS using RDF and the Semantic Web language. So we will first sketch the learning scenario in Semantic Web environment and structure of metadata management. Next we suggest two types of RDF authoring tool and search RDF documents. Advanced metadata management techniques enables the organization of learning materials around small pieces of semantically annotated learning objects. With these metadata learner can customize learning courses, improve retrieval performances.

  • 메타인지는 자신의 인지와 학습활동에 대한 지식과 통제활동의 의미로 사용되었으며, 메타인지 지식은 자기 자신의 인지과정에 대하여 스스로 알고 있는 지식을 의미하고, 메타인지적 기능인 자기 조정능력은 학습활동을 스스로 조정하고 통제하면서 학습을 수행하는 능력을 말한다. 학습정보를 제공하는 피드백이 학습자의 학업성취도를 높인다는 연구들은 교수 학습의 과정에서 피드백이 학습효과를 높이고 학업성취도를 증가시키는데 공헌할 수 있다고 밝히고 있다. 이러한 메타인지와 피드백에 관한 선행연구들을 바탕으로 웹을 기반으로 한 프로젝트 학습에서 학습자의 베타인지 수준에 따라 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 피드백 유형이 필요함을 제안한다.

  • E-learning의 학습 컨텐츠는 점차 멀티미디어화 되고, 시스템 환경은 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 기반으로 고도화될(T-learning 및 U-learning) 것으로 예측된다. 학습자가 요구하는 멀티미디어 학습객체를 유비쿼터스 네트워크 환경에서 쉽게 찾아 학습자에게 효율적으로 전달하기 위해서는 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 도움이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 멀티미디어 학습객체의 특성을 정확하게 기술하는 메타데이터 모델이 필요하고 효율적인 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 학습객체를 위한 새로운 메타데이터 모델을 제안하고, 효율적인 메타데이터 관리를 위한 새로운 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • Since the 1980's, metacognition has been one of the core subjects in the studies on teaching-learning. There have been significant considerations about the metacognition in the reaching-learning become increasingly important in relation with learner's thinking. Though, metacognition has now become important concept used in learning process, there have not been sufficient researches in geographic education. The purpose of this parer is to define metacognition concept in geograpbic education. First, the concept of metacognition in geograpbic education, alike in the other education, can be classified as metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive function. Metacognitive knowledge can be categorized as knowledge about self, task, and strategy. Metacognitive function can be categorized as function about monitoring, evaluating and controling. Next, based on geographical metacognition concept, this paper is researched the characteristics of geographical metacognition in the students' reading maps inquiry activity.

The Effects of Metacognition on Learning Flow of Team-Based Learning in Nursing Students: Mediating Effects of Shared Leadership (간호대학생의 팀기반학습에서 메타인지가 학습몰입에 미치는 영향: 공유리더십의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of metacognition on learning flow of Team-Based Learning(TBL) in nursing students and verify the mediating effects of shared leadership on the relationships between metacognition and learnig flow. Data were collected via survey from 98 nursing students to participate in TBL for 6weeks, in June 2017. The results were as follows: There was a significant correlation with metacognition, shared leadership and learning flow. Metacognition had a positive effect on learning flow. Shared leadership had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between metacognition and learning flow. Conclusively, this results indicate a need to develop programs that effectively promote the shared leadership and maximize metacogniton Team-Based Learning(TBL) in nursing students.

  • 인터넷과 정보기술의 발전으로 최근 이러닝 시스템을 포함한 다양한 학습 시스템이 연구 발전되고 있다. 학습자의 관점에서는 학습의 형태 혹은 학습자의 학습 패턴등을 분석하여 지능적인 학습시스템으로 발전하고 있으며, 교수자의 관점에서는 교수학습 모델 연구와 학습 컨텐츠 계발 방법론 연구 등이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 튜터링 시스템을 위한 메타러닝 설계 연구를 제안하였다. 메타러닝은 학습자 자신이 어떤 특성을 가지고 어떻게 학습하는지에 대해 학습할 수 있는 방법을 설명한다. 동일한 학습내용을 같은 순서 혹은 같은 방법으로 학습하는 것은 서로 다른 학습자에게 동일한 학습 결과를 나타낼 수 없기 때문에 개인 맞춤형 학습 서비스 형태를 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 메타러닝 설계를 기반으로 지능형 튜터링 시스템을 개발 할 수 있는 방법을 설명하고자 한다. 향후 본 논문에 설계를 기반으로 지능형 튜터링 플랫폼을 표준으로 개발하여 국제적 표준의 ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System)로 발전되기를 기대한다.

Factors related to the undergraduate nursing students' metacognition (간호대학생의 메타인지 영향요인분석)

  • Metacognition is a core element for nurses' clinical competency as a result of the learner's development and evaluate goals and plans for problem solving. The study aimed to analyze factors related to metacognition among undergraduate nursing students. The 205 nursing students participated from August 15 to October 19, 2017 to measure metacognition, self-directed learning, grit, learning environment and learning style. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with the SPSS/Win 22.0 program. Metacognition represented a positive correlation with self-directed learning, grit, learning environment. The self-directed learning and grit were significant factors on undergraduate nursing students' metacognition. As a result of this study, it is necessary to develop curriculum that can improve metacognition level by increasing self-directed learning ability and grit of undergraduate nursing student.
