Multimedia service whose use is rapidly increasing supports effective services to convert and transmit multimedia data based on network speed, noise circumstance, terminal computation, and type of contents for satisfying QoS. For supporting information protection of multimedia service, it offers middle level of singular security service or security mechanism which is based on policy of service provider, depending on present terminal computation and type of contents. It can support security mechanism for more effective multimedia service, if we study security of application layer and network layer for supporting multimedia service. In this paper, we propose Multimedia security framework reflected on quantitative analysis of the WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) mesh network security using the utility function in the level of the sorority, violation and addictive compensation model.

Each organization installing and operating multimedia system, to achieve the goal of organization, should decide security level, implement security countermeasure, and manage these countermeasures to keep the effects. To decide and manage security level of multimedia system, the first, organizations must be able to decide security level, and then, organizations must establish procedures for building security countermeasures according to security level. For the next step, organizations must be able to select areas where security countermeasures should be applied, and the last, organizations must be able to evaluate and improve the effect of security countermeasures. In this paper, based on the analysis of threat to multimedia system and the consideration for multimedia assets, we propose a method for deciding security level of multimedia system.

본 고에서는 인터넷 공동체 안에서 보안문제를 어떻게 해결할 것인가에 대하여 시스템과 네트워크 관리자가 구축해야 할 인터넷 보안정책에 관한 보안정책의 개념, 보안목표의 설정, 보안정책의 구축단계 등을 다룬다. 특히 인터넷 사이트 보안정책에서 다루어야 할 영역과 방화벽 보안정책을 중심으로 서술한다.

Real-Time Protocol (RTP) is used for multimedia information transmission and RTP payload must be encrypted for providing multimedia information security. Encryption/decryption delay is minimized, because there are constraints in transporting a multimedia data through the Internet. Therefore, encryption algorithm is changed with considering network traffic and load. Doting many users participate in the same multimedia service, an user who already left the service can receive and decrypt the RTP payload because of knowing the encryption key. In this paper, Security Control Protocol for RTP is designed and implemented for changing the encryption algorithm and the key.

실시간 영상회의 시스템을 인터넷상에서 다양하게 사용하려는 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 이런 부분의 연구는 오디오, 비디오 압축기법, 멀티미디어의 동기화, 다자간의 영상회의를 지원하기 위한 IP multicast 의 Mbone의 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있고, 통신의 회선속도가 고속화됨에 따라 인터넷에서 영상을 통한 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 개방형 분산 인터넷 통신망 환경에서의 영상회의는 영상회의 데이터인 영상 및 음성 보안에 대한 문제가 심각하게 대두된다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 영상회의에서 멀티미디어 데이터의 특성에 따른 보안 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 웹의 발달로 인해 정적이고 이미지 위주의 정보를 제공해주던 기존의 단순한 웹 환경에서 벗어나 동적이고 멀티미디어 형태의 정보제공이 가능한 Java Active X 기술을 이용한 이동코드에 대하여 살펴보고 , 이동 코드 사용시 발생 가능한 취약성과 그에 따른 보안 모델을 분석한다. 또한 기존의 보안 모델을 보완한 새로운 보안모델을 제안한다.

현재의 보안정보에 관리는 크게 공개키를 기반으로 공개키 쌍의 관리만이 표준화된 형식으로 사용되고 있을 뿐, 다양한 시스템들 및 사용자들이 필요한 대부분의 보안정보들은 시스템별 흑은 사용되는 보안 서비스들의 따라 달리 관리되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 여러 종류의 보안정보들을 통합 관리하는 보안 정보 통합 관리 시스템을 설계하였다.

사용자들의 정보교환이 주목적인 분산 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램은 많은 분야에서 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 화상/음성 회의, 채팅도구, 화이트보드, 전자공책등 독립적으로 수행하는 응용 프로그램들이 있는데, 이러한 분산 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램을 이용하여 , 지리적으로 떨어져 있는 사용자들이 함께 일할수 있는 환경인 협동 작업 환경을 제공할 수있다. 최근에 이러한 협동 작업 환경에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있는데 더 효율적이고 신뢰할 수 있는 협동작업환경을 제공하기 위해서는플랫폼에 독립적이고 보안성이 제공되어야 한다. 또한 사용자가 협동 작업을 생성, 삭제, 참여, 탈퇴할 수 있는 기능도 제공되어야한다. 이러한 기능을 제공하는 서비스를 세션서비스라고 한다. 본 논문은 분산멀티미디어 협동 작업 환경을 위한 CORBA 기반의 보안성있는 세션 서비스를 제안한다. 분산 객체 기술인 CORBA는 객체의 위치와 구현에 상관없이 그들 사이의 통신을 가능하게 하여 주는데 , 이러한 CORBA의 장점을 이용하여 플랫폼에 독립적이면서 보안성을 강화하고 일반적인 세션 정보를 제공하는 서비스를 제안한다. 그 타당성을 입증하기 위해 세션서비스의 프로토타입이 분산 멀티미디어 시스템인 MAESTRO 의 일부분으로 개발되었었다. 여기에서 제안한 세션서비스는 OMG 표준의 새로운 서비스로 제안될수 있을 것이다.

웹 기술 등의 발전으로 인터넷에 각종 정보시스템을 접속하여 문자, 음성, 영상을 포함하는 각종 멀티 데이터의 공유가 일반화됨에 따라 이에 대한 보안 문제점을 해결하기 위한 정보보호시스템으로서 침입차단시스템의 요구가 증대되고 있으며 이러한 요구에 따라 국내외적으로 평가 기준이 개발되고 있고 이러한 기준을 충족시키는 다양한 형태의 침입차단시스템이 출시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 보안 모델 상에서 침입차단시스템 보안 정책 모델이 요구되는 부분과 기존의 보안 모델을 침입차단시스템에 적용하는데 발생하는 문제점을 살펴보고 국내 정보통신망 침입차단시스템 평가기준에서 요구하는 있는 관련 요구 사항을 분석하여 침입차단시스템에 적합한 보안정책 모델을 제안한다.
