이기종 간의 문서 교환 표준으로 제안되 SGML은 문서의 구조정보를 표현할 수 있는 장점으로 인해 CALS(Commerce At Light Speed), EC(Electronic Commerce), EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), 전자 도서관(Digital Library) 등 여러 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 이렇게 SGML이 여러 분야에서 사용됨에 따라 많은 SGML 문서 중에서 원하는 문서를 효율적으로 찾아줄 수 있는 검색 시스템의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구실에서는 기본적인 구조 검색을 지원하는 SGML 문서 관리시스템을 기개발하였다. 그러나 이 시스템은 구조 검색을 효과적으로 지원하기 못하기 때문에 본 연구에서는 구조 검색의 기능을 정의하고, 이를 지원하는 새로운 구조 질의어를 정의하였다. 또한 이러한 구조 검색을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 구조 색인을 정의하였다. 그리고 구조 검색 방식으로 세가지 방식을 각각 구현 및 실험하여 그 중에서 성능이 뛰어난 절충식을 이용하여 검색 시스템을 구현하였다.

In this paper, we describe technologies of Intranet administrator and user application used in the PEC(Protocol Engineering Center) Office Intranet system which provides platform independent application framework using Internet/Intranet standard technologies for distribution of Web documents and real-time multimedia information. The PEC Office is composed of administrator applications to support environments for administration of all applications including group/user add, update, and delete facilities and construction of user directory and user applications to support schedule sharing, virtual library, job report, output management, budget management, and real-time audio/video broadcasting services. These applications allow differentiation and customization services according to department and title employed per users.

본 논문에서는 월드와이드웹상에서 3차원 인터페이스를 기술하는 표준 사양인 VRML과 자바의 EAI(External Authoring Interface)를 통하여 사용자 간에 발생하는 상호작용들을 동기화 시키는 방법을 소개한다. 제시한 방법에서는 별도의 독립적인 응용프로그램을 작성하거나 동기화를 위하여 확장된 VRML을 사용할 필요없이 웹브라우저와 바로 호환하여 사용할 수 있으며 기존의 방대한 웹문서와 연계가 쉬우므로 범용적인 자료구축이 가능하다. 하지만, 가장 최근의 VRML97에서조차도 VRML이 제시하는 가상공간 다중 사용자 환경의 지원은 아직 미비하다. 더 이상 단순히 3차원 월드를 탐험하는 시기는 지났으며, 같은 공간상에서 혼자가 아닌 여럿이 함께 하는 다중 사용자 환경을 제공해야 할 것이다. 이에 자바의 네트웍 기능과 가상공간의 외부에서 동적으로 월드를 제어할 수 있는 EAI를 이용하여 부족했던 다중 사용자 환경을 지원함으로써 가상 공간 시스템을 구축할 수 있다. 그러나, 가상 공간에서 일어나는 이벤트는 단지 동일 브라우저에서만 유효하기 때문에 다른 사용자에게 전달할 때는 이벤트를 원격지의 이벤트와 연동하기 위하여 다른 방법이 필요하다. 사용자 상호작용 시스템에 있어서 이러한 이벤트를 결정하는 가장 중요한 요소는 아바타의 행동양식(avatar's behavior)이라 할 수 있다. 가상 공간에서 일어나는 이벤트의 대부분이 사용자에 의해서 발생되는 것들이다. 즉, 아바타의 행위에 따라서 사용자 서로 간에 상호작용이 일어나게 되며 이들 이벤트를 서로 동기화 함으로써 실시간 3차원 상호작용 시스템을 구현한다. 이렇게 구현된 시스템을 구현한다. 이렇게 구현된 시스템은 전자 상거래, 가상 쇼핑몰, 가상 전시화, 또는 3차원 게임이나 가상교육 시스템과 같은 웹기반 응용프로그램에 사용될 수 있다.물을 보존·관리하는 것이 필요하다. 이는 도서관의 기능만으로는 감당하기 어렵기 때문에 대학정보화의 센터로서의 도서관과 공공기록물 전문 담당자로서의 대학아카이브즈가 함께 하여 대학의 공식적인 직무 관련 업무를 원활하게 지원하고, 그럼으로써 양 기관의 위상을 높이는 상승효과를 낼 수 있다.하여는, 인쇄된 일차적 정보자료의 검색방법등을 개선하고, 나아가서는 법령과 판례정보를 위한 효율적인 시스템을 구축하며, 뿐만 아니라 이용자의 요구에 충분히 대처할 수 잇는 도서관으로 변화되는 것이다. 이와 함께 가장 중요한 것은 법과대학과 사법연수원에서 법학 연구방법에 관한 강좌를 개설하여 각종 법률정보원의 활용 내지 도서관 이용방법에 관하여 교육하는 것이다.글을 연구하고, 그 결과에 의존하여서 우리의 실제의 생활에 사용하는 $\boxDr$한국어사전$\boxUl$등을 만드는 과정에서, 어떤 의미에서 실험되었다고 말할 수가 있는 언어과학의 연구의 결과에 의존하여서 수행되는 철학적인 작업이다. 여기에서는 하나의 철학적인 연구의 시작으로 받아들여지는 이 의미분석의 문제를 반성하여 본다. 것이 필요하다고 사료된다.크기에 의존하며, 또한 이러한 영향은 $(Ti_{1-x}AI_{x})N$ 피막에 존재하는 AI의 함량이 높고, 초기에 증착된 막의 업자 크기가 작을 수록 클 것으로 여겨진다. 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.corner$적 의도에 의한 경관구성의 일면을 확인할수 있지만 엄밀히 생각하여 보면 이러한 예의 경우도 최락의 총체적인 외형은 마찬가지로 $\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$의 범위를 벗어나지 않는다. 그렇기 때문에도 $\ulcorner$순응

인터넷이 그 규모 및 정보의 내용에서의 대형화를 지향하면서 분산환경에서 사용자들의 정보에 대한 요구가 날로 증가하고 있고, 이를 만족시킬 수 있는 저 단계로 정보 수집이라는 것이 새로운 문제로 떠오르고 있다. 이에 에이전트를 기반으로 구성된 분산 디지털 도서관상에서 웨 정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 로봇 에이전트를 설계.구현하였다. 구현된 로봇은 JAVA와 RMI를 기반으로 에이전트화를 통해 분산환경 구조를 갖추고 있으며, 멀티 쓰레드와 로봇 제어 알고리즘을 통해 정보의 수집 및 관리에 있어서 로봇의 신뢰도를 향상 시켰고 DBMS와 에이전트의 연계를 통한 대용량 처리 기능과 관리자의 관리의 편리성을 도모하기 위해 자동화 기능을 갖추었으며, 로봇과 관련되어 발생할 수 있는 부하를 최소화 할 수 있도록 하였다.

멀티미디어 기술의 이용 증가와 더불어, 영상 압축은 새로운 기능과 보다 나은 성능을 필요로 한다. 정지영상 인코딩 분야에서 이 기술을 언급하기 위하여 JPEG2000이라 하는 새로운 표준이 최근 개발되고 있다. JPEG2000 기술은 기존의 표준기술보다 율왜곡, 영상성능 면에서 우수성을 제공할 뿐 아니라 또한 현재의 표준들이 언급할 수 없는 특징이나 기능들을 제공해준다. JPEG2000의 대표적 기술적인 특성으로는 무손실/손실 압축, 무손실 코딩에의 내포된 손실, 화소 정확성과 해상 등에 의한 진보적인 전달, 비트 에러 그리고 관심영역 부호화의 견고함 등이 있다. JPEG2000의 필요성이 강조되는 다양한 응용분야로는 인터넷, 컬러 팩스, 인쇄, 스캐닝, 디지털 사진, 원격 탐사, 이동식 적용, 의학 영상, 전자 도서관과 E-commerce 등이 있다.

This study examines the differences in children's reading comprehension and satisfaction of storybooks according to a type of medium(paper and multimedia e-books). Six different storybooks were used and 85 children participated. Each child read a paper book and an e-book(both are different books). The study results showed that overall, the type of medium did not significantly affect the children's reading comprehension of all six storybooks: for two storybooks, some comprehension scores of paper books were higher than those of e-books, on the other hand, some comprehension scores of e-books were higher than those of paper books. Satisfaction scores of paper books are a little bit higher that those of e-books, although resulting in no statistically significant difference between two types. In addition, the study suggested that the amount of annual readings is positively related to improving children's composition ability and information acquisition ability. Finally, we proposed how to promote the use of e-books in the school library environments in terms of its usability and management policies.

This study was conducted based on the need to establish an operational plan following the establishment of the Okcheon-gun Daily Life Culture and Sports Center Library, and for the users of public libraries in Okcheon-gun, the functions and roles of the Okcheon-gun Library, collection related to operational direction, user service related activation, library usage related status survey, preference for the future use and perception of desired services were surveyed. Based on the results of the perception survey, the direction required by the Okcheon-gun residents for the Library was identified, and the research results are as follows. As a result of the study, first, when establishing a collection plan, the data types ought to be based on the printed materials and the multi-media materials to reflect the needs of the users, and it may also be necessary to collect them in consideration of the subject areas including literature, art, history, and technical sciences. Second, to provide various information services, it would be necessary to establish an overall information service plan, and it was identified that it would be necessary to develop various information services according to the user preferences and provide cooperative services. Third, it was determined that the programs appropriate for the various subjects and age groups should be continuously expanded moving forward in consideration of the larges demand for programs by the residents of Okcheon-gun. Fourth, new constructions and spatial improvements are needed, and the overall preference for open spaces was significant. In the case of cultural space, the preference for youth cultural facilities, convenience facilities for residents, infinite loss of imagination, and the (experiential) exhibition halls turned out to be large.

In recent, library is considered as an integrated knowledge convergence center that can respond to various requests about information service of users. Therefor it is necessary to establish a novel information system based on information communications technologies of the era. In other words, it is currently required to develop mobile information service available in portable devices such as smart phones or tablet PCs, and to establish information system reflecting cloud computing, SaaS, Annotation, and Library 2.0 etc. In this paper we design and implement a library information system using collective intelligence and cloud computing. This information system can be adapted for the varieties of mobile service paradigm and abruptly increasing amount of electronic materials. Advantages of this concept model are resource sharing, multi-tenant supporting, configuration, and meta-data supporting etc. In addition it can offer software on-demand type user services. In order to test the performance of our system, we perform an effectiveness analysis and TTA authentication test. The average response time corresponding to variance of data reveals 0.692 seconds which is very good performance in timing effectiveness point of view. And we detect maturity level-3 or 4 authentication in TTA tests such as SaaS maturity, performance, and application programs.

The purposes of this study are to explore FRBR utilities such as work clustering and expression clustering and problems of application of the FRBR by developing work and expression clustering algorithm and implementing it into cataloging system, and to suggest new cataloging rules for FRBR and guideline of MARC description to improve FRBR work clustering. FRBR was suggested by necessitation of collocation function of bibliographic records according to increase of searching materials and multi-version materials, but FRBRization has some problems such as imperfect conversion of bibliographic records to FRBR records and inappropriateness of current cataloging rules for FRBR. Bibliographic records must be processed by FRBR algorithm to construct FRBRized system, but bibliographic records and current cataloging rules couldn't perfectly support FRBRization. Therefore cataloging rules and guidelines of MARC description for FRBR are needed. For constructing FRBRized cataloging system in Korea, it is needed to find problems and solution through FRBR practical application such as developing FRBR algorithm and applying it to cataloging records.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of web-based encyclopedia services provided by major Korean search portals, Navel, Yahoo-Korea, Empas, and Daum. These encyclopedia services are evaluated in terms of the relevance, up-to-dateness, and multimedia features of search results. In conducting this study, real queries that real users submitted were used. This study also compares functional characteristics of these encyclopedia services. The results of this study can be implemented to the development and improvement of portal's encyclopedia services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing encyclopedia services from search portals.
