  • The coffee shop market in Korea has been rapidly increased in quantitative terms over 10 years since the time when Starbucks opened their first shop in 1999. In recent years, the mature market characteristics that the serious competition of the coffee shop brands make the difference in taste or service reduce has been shown in that market. It's important to build the differentiated brand image for the differentiation of products and services and obtaining a price premium in serious competitive mature market. This study presented practical implications based on the results of empirical analysis of current positioning using 'Store Personality Scale.

Classification of Service Quality for HMR unmanned store business (HMR 무인매장 서비스 품질 분류에 관한 연구)

  • The universal form of life in the era of the 4th industrial revolution can probably be summarized as the keyword "non-face-to-face". In particular, in terms of consumption activities, face-to-face contact is gradually changing to a system that minimizes, and offline stores are rapidly changing to non-contact services through kiosks and robots. The social structure is also changing with the passage of time, and most fundamentally, our dietary consumption patterns are changing. In particular, the increase in single-person households and the aging population are having a great impact on changes in the food service industry, which is closely related to dietary life. The HMR (Home Meal Replacement) market has grown significantly as the labor of cooking at home has decreased and the use of substitute foods has increased. As the size of the market has grown, the types of businesses that provide products have also diversified. The development of technology, non-face-to-face culture, and corporate management efficiency are intertwined, and unmanned stores are spreading recently. In this study, service quality attributes of HMR unmanned stores, where competition is gradually intensifying, are classified, and service quality classification using the Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient are calculated to provide implications for service management based on customer satisfaction. As a result of the analysis, 'products with short cooking time' and 'variety of products (menu)' were classified as attractive qualities, and 'cleanliness inside/outside of the store' and 'products at reasonable prices' were classified as unified quality. In addition, 'convenience of self-checkout process' was classified as a natural quality, and 'convenience of in-store passage' was classified as an indifferent quality. Furthermore, when the service factor was satisfied within the HMR unmanned store, the factor with the highest satisfaction coefficient was 'product (menu) variety', and the factor with the highest dissatisfaction factor was 'convenience of self-checkout process'. Through the results of this study, it is intended to derive priorities in service quality management of HMR unmanned stores and provide strategic implications for related businesses.

A study about the effects of online commerce on the local retail commercial area (온라인 거래의 증가가 지역 소매 상권에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively the effects of the increase in online shopping and its effects on real-world commercial outlets. The empirical analysis of this study is based on the results of "Census on Establishments" and "Online Shopping Survey" that cover 15 years, from 2002 to 2016. According to the results of this study, the increase in the number of online transactions affects the decrease in the number of stores in the real-world retail sector. However, non-specialized large stores and chain convenience stores showed an increase in the number of stores. In addition, the number of F&B stores increased the most in line with the increase in online transactions. This is because the increase in online transactions and in internet users led to the use of more delivery applications and the introduction of popular places on blogs or through social media. Street-level rents for medium and large-sized locations increased. In other words, it is seen that the demand for differentiated real-world stores that provide a good user experience increases, even though online transactions also increase. These results suggest that real-world stores should provide good user experiences in their physical locations with a certain size and assortment of goods.

  • The Chinese government and its agencies were trying in order to solve the unstability of resource supply and demand. Ministry of Land and Resources of China(MLR) carried out a lot of national-level policy and planning for estimating the domestic mineral and energy resources potential and recoverable reserves, as the Chinese land and resources survey plan(1999~2010), the Chinese mineral resource survey and exploration plan(2008~2020), announcement for shale gas industry policies of China, the Chinese shale gas resources evaluation and selection project for its development priority areas(2012), and the plan for Chinese shale gas development(2011~2015). The two large sedimentary basins of Chinese shale gas reserves are Sichuan and Tarim basins with excellent potential, accounting for majority of the estimated national reserves. Recoverable gas-bearing shale of China was surveyed to be widespread. The volume of recoverable shale gas reservoirs in China has been estimated to be around 31 trillion cubic meters(1,115 trillion cubic feet). China is one of only three countries with the US and Canada to produce shale gas in commercial quantities. China is concentrating on technology development to enhance commercial production of shale gas, and on survey and exploration activities to increase its recoverable reserves. The trends related to shale gas development and R&D activities in China to respond to changes in international oil market should be actively monitored based on analysis of Chinese policies and technology.

동태적 SCM을 통한 식품유통의 합리화

  • 그 동안 바코드와 POS 시스템은 SCM이나 ERP 및 CRM등 여러 가지 기법의 경영성과를 얻는 데 이바지해 왔다. 그러나 지금 널리 사용되고 있는 바코드에 상품의 제조연월일 등에 관한 정보를 포함한 새로운 개념의 타임 바코드(Time stamp barcode)를 도입한다면 보다 나은 경영성과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 이 논문은 이와 같은 동태적 SCM 즉, 타임 바코드를 이용하여 개선된 SCM에 관한 이론적 배경과 그 기법 및 적용범위 등에 관하여 논의하고 있다. POS 시스템에서 타임 바코드를 통하여 경과시간별 판매/재고정보를 실시간으로 제공하여 각 매장에서 판매되고 남아 있는 경과시간별 재고량을 토대로 생산량을 최적화하고 또 최적의 머천다이징도 가능하다. 그리고 유통기한 경과에 따른 폐기손실의 규모를 줄이고 재고처리 전략도 큰 성과를 기대할 수 있다.

"제2의 중동" 또는 "지상 최후의 보고"로 불리워지는 이 지역의 유전개발은 서방세계에 상당한 이익을 가져다 줄 것으로 예상되고 있다. 현재까지 개발이 진행중인 카스피해 지역의 경우 석유 확인매장량은 약300억~400억배럴 규모로 파악되고 있으며, 특히 이들 지역의 자체 석유소비가 미미하기 때문에 향후 상당기간 동안 생산물의 대부분을 시장에 공급할 수 있을 것으로 전망되고 있다. 최근에는 일본 석유기업들의 유전개발 참여도 눈에 띄게 늘어나고 있다. 아제르 바이잔과 카자흐스탄을 중심으로 개발동향과 수송루트를 둘러싼 최근 움직임을 알아본다.

  • 러시아의 북극해(Northern Sea) 연안은 석유와 천연 가스등 자원이 대규모로 매장된 곳이어서 근래에는 해상을 통한 수송 방법이 적극적으로 추진되고 있다. 최근 쇄빙기능을 가진 컨테이너, 유조선이 발주되었으며 향후 쇄빙 LNG 운반선도 발주될 예정이다. 국내에서는 2005년 말 최초로 러시아 Sovcomflot 에서 발주한 쇄빙유조선 70K Arctic Shuttle Tanker 를 수주하였으며 Ambient air temperature $-40^{\circ}C$(Extreme low temperature $-40^{\circ}C$) 에 적용한 Winterization 에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

Effects of Store Owners and Store Characteristics on Retail Store Management Performance: Focusing on Nadle Store in Busan and Ulsan Regions (소매점의 점주특성과 점포특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 부산·울산지역 나들가게를 중심으로)

  • This study examined in detail how the store characteristics and store owner characteristics of nadle store affect the management performance. First, as a result of analyzing the sales results according to the business experience and the same residency, the non-resident of the workplace was 842,000 won, which was 92,000 won higher than the residence. Among the store owner with experience, non-residents were the highest with 918,000 won. Second, as a result of analyzing the sales performance according to the operation type and the store size, the highest sales type was the mart type, followed by the inclusion of fruits and vegetables with an average of 874,000 won. When looking at the size of stores, more than 60㎡ was 790,000 won. The highest operating type of sales over 60㎡ was mart type, which was 960,000 won, followed by convenience stores with an average of 933,000 won. These results will serve as a reference for suggesting not only the small business policy of the government but also the management efficiency of retail stores.
