Femtocell Searching Technique Using Synchronization Signals for Next-Generation Mobile Communication Systems (차세대 이동통신 시스템에서 동기신호를 이용한 펨토셀 탐색 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a femtocell searching technique which can prevent a macrocell UE(user equipment) from losing synchronism to its serving macrocell near closed access femtocells in co-channel deployment due to the leakage of femtocell signals by using a CS(Common Signal). The CS, commonly transmitted by femtocells in a macrocell at the same time, enables the macrocell UEs to be kept synchronized with their serving macrocells since the CINR(Carrier to Interference and Noise Ratio) of base stations in macrocell can be kept high even near closed access femtocells. Also, the CS is designed in such a way that a macrocell UE can recognize the existence of femtocell by using the metric CSCINR(Common Signal Carrier to Interference and Ratio) measured with CS. In addition, the proposed femtocell searching technique can reduce the frequency of femtocell searching trial by using the metric on mobility of a macrocell UE defined in this paper, and the reduction of the frequency of handover trial can be also expected as a byproduct.

  • 염화물 및 방청제가 함유된 철근 콘크리트의 부식특성을 마크로 셀 부식측정 방법인 갈바닉 전류 측정과 마이크로 셀 부식측정 방법인 선형분극 측정법 및 교류 임피던스법을 이용하여 염화물 및 방청제의 영향을 평가하였다. 마크로/마이크로 셀 부식측정기 Calcium Nitrite 방청제가 첨가된 시험체의 경우 갈바닉 전류 측정결과 낮은 전류값을 유지하였고, 교류 임피던스 측정결과 분극저항의 감소가 나타나지 않았으므로, 방청제의 첨가가 콘크리트내 철근의 부동태 피막을 보호하여 부식저항성을 향상시킴을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper supposes the perfect power control at micro-cell and macro-cell. Under this supposition, we calculate SIR and decide the call admission by SIR. When we calculate SIR, we use the ratio of the power received the base station of micro-cell and the power received the base station of macro-cell. We analysis the performance of the system by the computer simulation while changing the ratio of power.

  • In this paper, a new placement algorithm for gate array lay out design is proposed. The proposed algorithm can treat the variable-sized macrocells and by considering the I/Q pad locations, the routing between I/Q pads and the internal region of a chip can be automated effectively. The algorithm is composed of 3 parts. which are initial partitioning, initial placement and placement improvement. In the initial placement phase, a given circuit is partitioned into 5 sub-circuits, by clustering method with considers connectivities of cells not only with I/Q pads but also with related partitioned groups is used repeatedly to assign a unique position to each cell. In the placement improvement phase, the concept of probabilistic wiring density is introduced, and cell moving algorithm is proposed to make the density in a chip even.

  • Yeung suggested[10] efficient channel management technique suitable for the mobility model in the hierachical cellular system. It improved the existing channel allocation techniques by additionally considering the user’s mobility, allocating the channel of microcell to low-speed mobiles, and the channels of macrocell to high-speed mobiles. In this paper, we have suggested new channel management technique, which is directly compared with those of Yeung’s system and existing model. Blocking probabilities for each model are found through the queuing analysis and we have shown that our proposed system outperforms the both.

  • In this study, for the establishment of the performance evaluation methods and the quality control standards of durability recovery method, the quantitative exposure data by long term exposure test under the coast is accumulated and analyzed Investigating and evaluating the result of exposure test at 30 month of exposure age under the coastal environment, carbonation and salt damage are not happened at all but the difference in electric potential are found. Therefore, it is considered that the reinforcement corrosion at replacement with repair material are caused by active-passive corrosion macrocells.

  • As multimedia applications become popular, computers increasingly require high-speed DSP for 3-DIM computer graphic. In this Paper, a Macro-cell Library of conditional select adder/subtracter is proposed for DSP within high speed and low power consumption. Using, this design method, we are able to obtain an auto generation of the adder or(and) subtracter from 8-bit to 64-bit. The proposed adder/subtracter has been fabricated with a 0.25${\mu}m$, single-poly, five-metal, N-well CMOS technology. From the experimental results, delay time is 3.43ns, and the power consumption is 42.8${\mu}w$/MHz at the input frequency of 50MHz, at 2.5V single power supply, in case of the 32-bit adder/subtracter.
