Development and Performance Test of Gas Safety Management System based on the Ubiquitous Home (u-home 가스안전관리시스템 개발 및 성능시험)

  • In this paper, we proposed a system to raise gas safety management by using the wireless communication module and intelligent gas safety appliances. Our designed systems configure a micom-gas meter, an automatic extinguisher, sensors, and a wallpad. A micom-gas-meter monitors gas flow, gas pressure, and earthquake. An automatic fire extinguisher checks gas(combustible) leaks and temperature of $100^{\circ}C$ and $130^{\circ}C$. Sensors measure smoke and CO gas. In our novel system, a micom-gas meter cut off inner valve with warnings, an automatic fire extinguisher cut off middle valve and spray extinguishing materials, and sensors generate signals for smoke and CO when occurring gas risk. Gas safety appliances and sensors takes safety measures, and transmit those signal to a wallpad. The wallpad again transmit signal like events to a control server. Users can connect web pages for gas safety through B-ISDN and control and manage them. We hereby devised scenarios for gas safety and risk management, and demonstrated their effectiveness through experiments.

  • 방사선관리의 엄격화에 따른 관리의 복잡화와 노력의 증가에 의해서 관리의 합리화, 성력화가 요구되고 있다. 이에 대응하여 마이컴을 이용한 장치, 컴퓨터와 접속시켜서 관리할 수 있는 시스템, 신기술인 광전송을 받아들인 시스템 등이 출현하고 있다. 또한 종래에는 저레벨측정을 주로 하여 기술개발이 진행되어 왔으나 TMI사고를 계기로 고레벨측정도 재검토되고 있다. 다음은 주로 일본에서 사고시의 계측을 위해 개발된 모니터, 합리화와 성력화를 목적으로한 모니터, 신기술을 이용한 모니터의 개요이다.

  • This Paper investigates the speed control of Switched reluctance motor(SRM) using one chip microcomputer The SRM has the advantages of simple structure low rotor inertia. and high efficiency. The Position sensor is essential in SRM in order to synchronize the Phase excitation to the rotor position. The proposed system consists of phase locked loop controller, switching angle controller and inverter. The Performances in the Proposed system are verified through the experiment.

  • 최대수요전력 제어기의 실시간 부하전력예측을 위하여 Newton 보외법을 적용하였다. 기존의 선형기법에 비하여 실제 데이터에 가까운 부하전력을 예측할 수 있었다. 이 새로운 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 부하예측을 보다 정확히 할 수 있어 빈번한 부하차단이나 우발적인 차단을 방지하여 설비 운용의 신뢰성을 높일 수 있다. 개선된 알고리즘은 마이컴으로 제어되는 실제 시스템에 적용하여 보다 나은 성능을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The research and implementation was preformed on high-resolution CCTV camera with CCD exclusive DSP conventional analog signal processor CCTV camera has its limit on auto exposure(AE), auto white balance(AWB), back light compensation(BLC) processing, severe distortion and noise of image, manual control parameter setting, etc. In our study, to resolve the problems in conventional CCTV camera, we made it possible to control AE, AWB, BLC automatically by the use of the DSP, which are used exclusively in the CCD camera produced domestically, and the microcontroller. And we utilized the function of screen display of microcontroller for the user-friendly interface to control CCD camera. And the electronic variable resister(EVR) was used to avoid setting parameters manually in the level of manufacturing process. As the result, It became possible to control parameters of the camera by program. And the cost-down effect was accomplished by improving the reliability of parameter values and reducing the efforts in setting parameters.

  • In this paper, we proposed a system and a scenario to raise efficiency of gas safety management by developing wireless ZigBee communication modules, smart-home gas safety appliances and the system suitable for gas safety. Our designed system consists of a micom gas meter, an automatic extinguisher, sensors, and a wall-pad. A micom-gas-meter monitors gas flow, gas pressure, and earthquake. An automatic fire extinguisher checks combustible gas leaks and temperature of $100^{\circ}C$(cut off) and $130^{\circ}C$(fire). Sensors measure smoke and CO gas. In our novel system, a micom-gas meter cut off inner valve with warnings, an automatic fire extinguisher cut off middle valve and spray extinguishing materials, and sensors generate signals when detecting smoke and CO and then take a next action. Gas safety appliances and sensors automatically takes measures, and transmit those information to a wall-pad. The wall-pad again transmits real time information to server. Users can check and manage gas safety situations by connecting BcN server through web or mobile application. We hereby devised scenarios for gas safety and risk management based on the smart, and demonstrated their efficiency through test applied to filed.

  • 사회가 풍요롭고 생활수준이 높아짐에 따라 사람들은 자신의 건강상태에 신경을 많이 쓰고 있다. 또한 유비쿼터스 시대가 시작되면서 언제 어디서든 간단하고 편하게 건강 상태를 체크할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 이 시스템은 일상생활에서 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 개인이 자신의 심박변이도 상태를 체크 할 수 있다. 보통 큰 병원에서나 사용 해야만 했던 부담감 대신 항상 스스로 자신의 건강상태를 확인하여 그 결과에 따라 맞게 대처 할 수 있다. 브레드 보드와 마이컴을 이용하여 SPO2 센서를 통해 들어온 신호를 PDA로 전송하고, 측정된 HRV(Heart Rate Variability : 심박변이도) 신호를 임베디드 시스템을 이용하여 PDA의 화면에 그래프로 나타내는 GUI 환경의 시스템이다.

  • Magnetic flux saturation dependent on phase of initial input power to high voltage transformer used in Micro wave oven. To limit inrush current high voltage transformer the relay contact should be ˝ON˝ when the lowest point of input voltage phase. The improved circuit is form compensating interrupt signal Micom input so the relay contact can be ˝ON˝ when the inrush current is lower. Test results are presented that improved circuit satisfies the limit 50[A] of requirement for input voltage variation mode. And the result verified by statistical method.

  • In this paper, it has been proposed the simultaneous control of PFC (power factor corrector) and electronic ballast for fluorescent lamp by one chip micro-controller. Boost DC-DC converter is adopted for PFC, and half bridge inverter for electronic ballast. It controls, simultaneously and independently, the boost DC-DC converter and the half bridge inverter. As PFC and electronic ballast are controlled by one chip micro-controller, it is possible to achieve the simpler and the cheaper controller for fluorescent lamp. Experimental results have shown the feasibility of the proposed simultaneous control of PFC and electronic ballast by one chip micro-controller.

  • In this paper, an automatic lighting control system is developed using micom. The developed system consists of digital lighting control system, analog lighting control system and simulator. In the developed system, ATMega128 is used as the main controller. The developed digital lighting control system consist of eight parts and the developed analog lighting control system consist of six parts respectively. Additional, the developed simulator consist of analog and digital simulation using graphic user interface.
