In this paper, we propose the matching model between virtual reality and the real-world for peoples with limited mobility. The proposed matching model is consist of four parts: wearable input device-based PC control, hand-motion pattern recognition, application software, and matching between virtual reality and the real-world. To recognition mouse functions and hand-motion patterns from six-axis coordinate of wearable input device, RF communication is used. In addition, to easily control the real-world, virtual reality has been implemented with realism of the real-world. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the proposed model, and as a result, hand-motion recognition as well as virtual reality control are well performed.

Coicis Semen is one of the oriental medicine that has been used for the treatment of the diseases such as pulmonary abscess, periappendicular abscess and wart since ancient times. However, the mechanism of the action of the drug is not well studied. This study was done to investigate the effects of Coicis Semen on the host defence mechanism. Effects of Coicis Semen on the immune responses were analysed by measuring the contact hypersensitivity, hemagglutinin, hemolysin and rosette formation, cytotoxicity, and reactive oxygen intermidiates production. As the results, water extract of Coicis Semen administration enhanced the antibodies (hemagglutinin and hemolysin) formation and the appearance of rosette forming cells of the spleen. Also Coicis Semen increased the allogeneic immune response in the mouse, showed cytotoxic activity against human leukemia cell line(K562) and decreased the contact hypersensitivity against dinitroflurobenzene. Also administration of Coicis Senlen slightly increased NK cell activity and enhanced the production of such reactive oxygen intermediates as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide from the macrophages in vivo and in vitro. The above results demonstrate that Coicis Semen has enhancing effects on cellular and humoral immune responses against disease.

In this paper, we implement a crossword game, which operate by speech. The CAA (Cross Array Algorithm) produces the crossword array randomly and automatically using an domain-dictionary. For producing the crossword array, we construct seven domain-dictionaries. The crossword game is operated by a mouse and a keyboard and is also operated by speech. For the user interface by speech, we use a speech recognizer and a speech synthesizer and this provide more comfortable interface to the user. The efficiency evaluation of CAA is performed by estimating the processing times of producing the crossword array and the generation ratio of the crossword array. As the results of the CAA's efficiency evaluation, the processing times is about 10ms and the generation ratio of the crossword array is about 50%. Also, the recognition rates were 95.5%, 97.6% and 96.2% for the window sizes of "$7{\times}7$", "$9{\times}9$," and "$11{\times}11$" respectively.}11$" respectively.vely.

Many features of the Single Field version have been enhanced to provide user friendly interface. The County/Watershed version of NAPRA WWW system was further enhanced. The newly developed Web GIS version is an ideal tool for novice users, such as farmers, to simulate the effects of agricultural management for their farms because of its easy-to-use Web GIS interface. The NAPRA WWW system provides an easy to use WWW interface and uses spatial and relational databases to simplify the process of preparing model files. Thus, the NAPRA WWW systems now can be effectively used for nutrient management as well as pesticide management to identify the least impact agricultural management practices.

Immu-Forte composed of chitosan, ${\beta}-glucan$, manno-oligosaccharide and pangamic acid was evaluated for its effectiveness as a nonspecific immunostimulator in mice. The effects of Immu-Forte were determined by analysis of cytokines using ELISA and phenotype of leukocyte subpopulations using monoclonal antibodies specific to mouse leukocyte differentiation antigens and flow cytometry. All T cells, all B cells, CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, macrophages, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12 and IFN-r in Immu-Forte A-treated group increased in 1 months posttreatment and were significantly higher (p < 0.05) than that of control at 1 months posttreatment. All T cells, all B cells, CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, macrophages and IL-2 in Immu-Forte EX-treated low and middle dose groups increased in 1 months posttreatment and were significantly higher (p < 0.05) than that of control at 1 months posttreatment. In the Immu-Forte soybean-treated group, NK cells and IL-4 were significantly higher in middle dose-treated group, and IL-2, IL-4 and IFN-r were significantly higher in low dose-treated group. In the Immu-Forte F-treated group, all T cells, all B cells, CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, macrophages, NK cells, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12 and IFN-r in high dose-treated group and all T cells, all B cells, CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, macrophages, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12 and IFN-r in middle dose-treated group and NK cells, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12 and IFN-r in low dose-treated group were significantly higher (p < 0.05) than that of control at 1 months posttreatment. In conclusion, this study has demonstrated that Immu-Forte had an immunostimulatory effect on mice through proliferation and activation of mouse immune cells.

This study investigated the effect of herbal extracts fermented by Lactobacillus plantarum (MBN) on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice and HaCaT cells. Five week old mice were applied with MBN topically (0.2 mL) once per for 21 days. Hair regrowth was evaluated by gross examination and verified by hematoxylin-eosin staining. Gene expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), and transforming growth factor-beta1 ($TGF{\beta}1$), relevant to hair growth, were examined. The data revealed that MBN successfully promoted hair growth in both male and female mice at a dose between 200-500 mg/kg and improved hair thickness. The VEGF and KGF genes were expressed in a dose-dependant manner, whereas $TGF{\beta}1$ was not expressed. Moreover, nitric oxide was significantly increased, suggesting an improvement in blood flow. These results indicate that MBN effectively promoted hair growth and gene expression relevant to hair growth in an animal model.

Recent advancement in RF technology and wireless communications has enabled the development of noble networks. Bluetooth that can be used in various application field is a kind of WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) standard that is widely known. Bluetooth enables voice and data applications to operate simultaneously. Various applications have been implemented based on standard Profiles. In this paper, we describes the development of Biuetooth network AP(Access Point) system for network connection of Bluetooth devices. Unlike headset, mouse, and keyboard, the access point should have capability to support multiple connection and stabilized network throughput. We have designed and developed the hardware system, core stack and profiles on embedded system to comply with standard specification. Our system showed compatibility and good protocol performance through testing with lots of products that is available in market.

Most used drugs and 경혈(aqupuncture paint) have the characters reinforcing a fair spirit and reinforcing an unfair spirit(a miasma or poisonous air). 5. It is necessary to a deep study of an experimental way about aqua-acupuncture on immunity in the future.

In this paper, we have tfesigned and ihlplemented ACE(Application sharing Collaboration Engine) which is pessible an application sharing to collaborate among peoples who are geographically dispersed. The application sharing is a technology whereby two or more users collaborate to share the output of single application running on one computer system to the other users, and to provide input to the applications. We defined ASO(Applicatio!1 Sharing Object) object and its behavior to share applications in real time and ACE processes a sharing using ASO object among the distributed systems. ASO is classified into activateASO, updateASO, inputASO, and controlASO. The each ASO's behavior involves both events which occur at specific moments such as keystrokes and mouse clicks and more persistent status which can be observed at any time such as the image on the screen. The implemented ACE can be applied to the data conferencing, distance education, and project collaboration for engineer in distributed environments.

The person who gets a ALS(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) has language disability and physical disability together. A common first symptom is a painless weakness in a hand, foot, arm or leg, which occurs in more than half of all cases. Other early symptoms include muscle weakness of speech. In the early stage of this disease they can communicate with other persons, but it will become increasingly difficult. In our research we have designed and implemented communication tools for them. We have implemented Chunjiin(the Korean computer keyboard) at PDA(personal digital assistant). And we have also implemented software which is consisted of frequently used words.
