STS 304강의 분위기온도에 따른 부식마멸기구에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Corrosive Wear Mechanism on Atmospherical Temperature of STS 304 Steel)

  • This paper is studied to know corrosive wear mechanism of STS304 steel on atmospherical temperature against mating material as the same. The corrosive test was carried out by rubbing the annular surface of two test pieces in distilled water and NaCl aqueous solution. The corrosive wear mechanism was investigated by S.E.M. The experimental results show that there is one Lcr transferring from severe wear to mild wear on change of NaCl concentration and atmospherical temperature, and which is the other still remaining in server wear state. It was found that the critical sliding distance Lcr shorten with increasing NaCl concentration but it is longer with ascending atmospherical temperature and the mild wear state still continues under the condition of high generation rate and elimination rate of the corrosive product. Considering upon the result, the model of corrosive wear mechanism is proposed.

운전속도에 따른 플라스틱기어의 마멸특성 (Wear Characteristics of Plastic Pinion Against Steel Gear for Different Pitch Line Velocities)

  • Wear characteristics of Nylon and acetal pinions against steel gears for different pitch line velocities was studied with a power circulating gear test rig under unlubricated condition. Specific wear rate was measured as a function of tooth number, module, tooth width and total revolution. The worn tooth surfaces were examined with a profile projector. The Nylon pinion showed lower specific wear rate than the acetal pinion. However, the Nylon pinion was fractured at high tooth loads, whereas the acetal pinion exhibited a steady wear behavior. The wear characteristics of Nylon pinion varied significantly with the Pitch line velocity. Wear occurred most severely at the tooth tip and the region immediately below the pitch line of pinion. The dominant wear mechanisms were adhesion and abrasion.

  • 본 연구에서는 단순절삭의 특성과 관련된 신호처리 방법을 검토하고, 선삭의 경우와 달리 제기되는 문제점중의 하나인 센서의 부착위치를 예비실험을 통하여 결정 하며, 공구마멸의 진전에 따른 AE신호의 특성변화를 조사하여 공구마멸 자동감지의 기 초가 되는 공구마멸의 점진적 증가에 따른 AE신호의 특성변화를 관찰하고자 한다. 특히 절삭조건 즉 이송량, 절석깊이, 절삭속도, 그리고 정착된 인서트의 수가 AE신호 의 특성에 미치는 영향을 각각 조사하여 절삭조건의 변화에 따른 AE신호의 변화경향을 살펴보고자 한다.

프레팅 마멸 예측을 위한 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Algorithm for Predicting Fretting Wear)

  • 본 연구에서는 경제요소법을 이용한 프레팅 마멸 예측을 위한 수치적 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 반무한체 해석을 통해 사각조각면위의 균일분포하중과 탄성변형량의 관계로부터 접촉 계면의 응력을 계산하였고 Archard wear 모델을 이용해 각 격자의 마멸 깊이를 계산하여 접촉면의 형상을 예측할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 정확성을 검증하기 위해 McColl 등의 연구와 비교하였고 개발된 알고리즘을 구접촉 모델에 확장하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다. 아울러 프레팅 해석의 효율적인 계산을 위해 한 step당 사이클 증가량인 step cycle이 해의 정확성에 미치는 영향을 검토하여 step cycle 설정의 중요성을 제시하였다.

숫돌 마멸량에 따른 연삭가공물의 표면특성 (The Surface Characteristics of Workpiece by Wear of Wheel)

  • The surface roughness is one of important parameters to obtain the high quality of products in grinding process. In precision components, it's level must be limited to a certain range. This study evaluated experimentally grinding characteristics of workpieces in the surface grinding process. The grinding forces were obtained to compare with the grindability of workpieces such as STD11, STS304 and STB2. The surface roughnesses on various workpieces were measured according to increasing the feed and the depth of cut. In addition, the wear amount of wheels according to the number of grinding were obtained. Also the grinding wheel and the ground surface were observed with a microscopic instrument.

아세탈과 나일론피니언의 마멸 및 운전특성에 관한 고찰 (Wear and Operation Characteristics of Acetal and Nylon Pinion Against Steel Gear)

  • Wear and operation characteristics of Nylon and Acetal pinion against steel gear were studied to gain a better understanding of their tribological and mechanical behavior. Tests were conducted with power circulating gear test rig under unlubricated conditions. Specific wear rates were measured as a function of applied load and total revolution. The worn tooth surfaces were examined with a profile projector and camera. Nylon pinion showed lower specific wear rates than Acetal pinion, but it revealed breakage at high load. Principal wear depths were developed at tooth tip and below the pitch line of pinion. Life estimation for the Nylon pinion was made by taking into account steel gear equivalent Hertz stress and average sliding velocity. The dominant wear mechanisms were adhesion and abrasion.

오스템퍼링한 구상점연주철의 부식환경중의 마멸특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wear Characteristics of Austempered Ductile Cast Iron in Corrosive Environments)

  • This paper is studied to know corrowive wear characteristics of austempered ductile cast ironin corrosive environments against mating SM45C hardened two test pieces in distilled water and NaCl aqueous solution. The corrosive wear mechanism was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and retained austenite volume fraction was investigated by X-ray diffractometer. The experimental result show that the corrosive wear characteristics depend largely on the $\textrm{Fe(OH)}_{3}$which is influenced by the critical sliding distance $L_{cr}$ and $L_{cr}$ shorted with increasing NaCl concentration. It was found that the carbides in matrix have a significant effect on their corrosive wear resisance and the fine acicular bainite showed corrosive wear resistance stronger than that of the coarse acicular and platelet bainite. From above results the model of corrosive wear mechanism in corrosive environments is proposed.

분류에 의한 SLURRY 마멸 (Slurry Wear Test on the Liquid Jet)

  • This research is about slurry wear of SM45C and SUS304, which using standard sand and KUM river sand. The results are as follows ; 1. Mass loss rates of both standard sand and KUM river sand were linearly increased as increasement of time and velocity. 2. The average diameter of sand from relatively, less wear rate and portion of larger particles. 3. Wear resistance was linear with time and velocity of liquid jet regardless of type of sand. Also, it was able to evaluate with the formula, $HV^2$/E calibrated with n, the velocity index. 4. The wear surface in liquid jet experiment was smooth. The maximum wear depth was observed at the location 2~4mm apart from the center in the condition of $90^{\circ}$ of collision angle 6mm of nozzle diameter, and 20mm of collision distance. The sectional shape in radial appeared as 'W'shape.

  • 최근 유용한 신소재로많은 광심을 보이고 있는 오스템퍼처리 구상흑연 주철(Austempered Ductile Cast Iron 이하 ADI라 한다) 은 기지조직이 베이나이트와 잔류 오스테나이트로 구성되어있기 때문에 같은 화학 조성을 갖는 일반 구상 흑연 주철에 비하여 연성 및 연성의 감소가 없이 2배 정도의 강도를 증가 시킬수 있기 때문에 자동차, 선박 부품 및 각종 기계부품에 적용시키기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 서로 재질의 성분이 다른 고속도강 드릴인 소경드릴을 이용하여 ADI재료를 보통(비관통)이송 및 단계이송 절삭가공시 발생되는 공구의 마멸량과 표면조도와의 관계, 절삭력의 변화에 따른 공구마멸과 공구수명과의 관계를 실험적으로 규명하여 ADI재료 의 보통 및 단계이송절삭시 공구수명에 미치는 제반 절삭특성의 영향에 관해 고찰 하고자 한다.
