Two Dimensional Analysis on Inundated Flow in Floodplain (홍수터에서의 범람 홍수류에 의한 2차원 수치모의)

  • Two dimensional finite element model, RMA, is used to simulate flood inundation phenomena from main channel to floodplain. The marsh porosity method allows finite elements to simulate gradual transition between wet and dry states. The model is applied to prismatic trapezoidal channel to test the applicability of wetting and drying. The floodwave in a river which meanders through a floodplain is also analyzed. The short-circuiting effects, in which the flow leave the meandering main channel and takes a more direct route on the floodplain, are analyzed with various sinuosity factor and roughness coefficients. Finally, the model is applied to the midstream of the Keum River. Wet/dry calculation can simulate the various discharge condition with the same finite element networks.

  • Numerical model for the floodwave propagation on dry bed which is resulting from the instantaneous failure of a dam has been developed by moving Hartree scheme. The numerical simulation result of the model has good agreements with the observed data by WES in terms of stage hydrograph and characteristics profiled. The model would contribute effectively to forecast the flood on dry bed resulting from instantaneous dam-break.

  • In the processing of the bailed-dried anchovy treated with BHA, caught in Chinhae Bay in Korea, the most suitable concentration of BHA was 5/10,000 (the concentration of BHA to the curing solution; g/cc). Although the concentration of BHA is high than mat of BHA 5/10,000, the effect of protection from deterioration due to the oxidation of oil did not increase. Boiled-dried anchovy treated with the concentration of BHA 5/10,000 could preserve for nine months unless the quality does not loss value of food.

  • Psychogenic cough is barky, croupy, and explosive and disappears during sleep, and is not affected by antitussive drugs. Physical and radiological examinations of the respiratory tract and other routine laboratory test are normal. It is helpful to recognize this condition early in its course so that appropriate treatment can be instituted before iatrogenic problems resulting in multiple hospitalizations and chronic steroid use occur. We experienced two child and adolescent cases that showing typical psychogenic cough so reported it with the literatures review.

  • 지금까지의 대부분의 2차원 수리해석 모형은 상류와 사류가 혼재된 불연속적인 천이류 흐름을 해석하기에 계산의 정확도 및 현실성에서 많은 문제를 보이고 있으며, 특히 계산과정에서 나타날 수 있는 마른하도의 처리에 있어서 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유한체적기법을 사용하여 상류와 사류가 혼재하는 불연속적인 하천 천이류를 안정적으로 해석하기 위해 개발된 고정확도 수치모형의 자연하도 적용에 있으며, 또한 마른 하도로 전파되는 흐름 모의 및 계산과정에서 나타날 수 있는 마른하도 처리의 어려움을 해결함으로써 모형의 정확도와 안정성을 검증하여 실제 하천에서의 모형 적용성을 검토함에 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 흐름의 전파양상을 정확하게 반영할 수 있는 상류이송기법인 Godunov 기법과 관심격자의 좌우 격자 정보를 모두 사용하는 대표적 중앙차분기법인 Beam-Warming 기법의 장점을 모두 반영한 가중평균흐름률 (Weighted Average Flux) 기법을 사용하여 사각격자망의 구성을 통해 자연하도에 적용시킬 수 있는 2차원 유한체적모형을 개발하고자 하였고, 개발된 모형의 안정성, 정확도, 적용성을 검증하기 위해 직사각형 수로, 큰 사행비를 가진 만곡수로에 적용하고, 그 결과를 수리모형 실험결과와 비교, 분석하였다.

Changes in Sugars Composition of Dried Lavers during Storage (마른김의 당류조성(糖類組成)과 저장중의 변화)

  • Studies were made on the sugars composition in dried lavers (Porphyra yezoensis Ueda) and changes in the contents of sugars during the storage under a dry and a humid conditions respectively. 1) No notable difference was observed in the glucose content between those dried lavers samples, which were stored under dry and humid conditions. Galactose content showed little change under a dry condition, but under a humid condition rapidly increased to a maximum of about ten times of its initial amount and then decreased gradually. 2) The content of floridoside rapidly decreased under a humid condition while slowly decreased under a dry condition, of which tendency is a contrast to that of galactose. 3) One of the unidentified components, which is deduced to be isofloridoside, showed a fluctuation pattern, which bears resemblance to that of floridoside.

  • Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a nonthermal technology emerging as an alternative to conventional thermal treatment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of IPL treatment on the microbial inactivation, color alteration, and temperature change of dried laver to evaluate the commercial feasibility of IPL as a sterilization method. IPL treatment (10 min at 1,000 V and 5 pps) resulted in approximately 1.6 log CFU/g decrease in microbial cell viability. After IPL treatment, the surface temperature of dried laver increased by $1.9^{\circ}C$. The color lightness of dried laver increased with increased treatment time, while redness and yellowness decreased. However, these color differences were not significant.

  • The contents of dietary fiber and physical properties of seaweed products for export produced in the south west sea side of korea were determined. The samples selected in this study were Dried sea mustard, Dried sea tangle, Cooked seaweed fusiforme, Dried laver, Dried sen lattuce and Agar-agar. The results were as follows : The contents of dietary fiber were 0.05-41.52% of Neutral Detergent Fiber, 0.01-26. 20% of Acid Detergent Fiber, 0-6.94% of Lignin, 0.04-25.79% of Hemicellulose and 0.01-19.26% of Cellulose and Cooked seaweed fusiforme, Dried son mustard and Dried sea tangle she wed higher values. Water-Holding Capacity was 6.1-19.65 water/g Acetone Dried Powder and Dried sea mustard showed the Highest value. Densities were 500-806mg/ml of direct density, 0.562-0.833g/cc of bulk density, 1.40-2.01g/m1 of hydrated density and 102-160% hydrated volume expansion. Direct density and bulk density corresponded largely.

Fatty Acid Content of Five Kinds of Boiled-Dried Anchovies on the Market (시판 마른 멸치의 종류에 따른 지방산 함량)

  • To investigate the change of fatty acid content during processing and storage of seafood, the fatty acid contents of 5 kinds of boiled-dried anchovies from the market were quantified using tricosanoic acid (23:0) as an internal standard material. Crude lipid contents of boiled-dried anchovies from the market were $16.9\%$ (Dae-myul), $12.5\%$ (Joong-myul), $9.5\%$ (So-myul), $8.7\%$ (Ja-myul) and $7.6\%$ (Se-myul). Acid value, peroxide value and carbonyl value of boiled-dried anchovies were $14.9{\sim}20.1,\;22.4{\sim}89.8meq/kg$ lipid, and $14.7{\sim}49.6meq/kg$ lipid, respectively. These values were increased as the sample size increased. Total fatty acid content of boiled-dried anchovies were 562.8 (Dae-myul), 572.2 (Joong-myul), 542.8 (So-myul), 587.7 (Ja-myul) and 568.8 (Se-myul) mg/g as 23:0. There was an increasing tendency in the content of 16:0, 16:1 and 18:1, but a decreasing tendency in polyenoic acids such as 20:5 and 22:6 according as the specimen size increased. The major fatty acids of boiled-dried anchovies were 16:0, 16:1, 22:6, 18:1, 20:5 and 14:0.

  • 현장 용접 실무자의 경우 익숙한 업무라 하더라도 때로는 시행착오를 겪을 수 있고, 또는 익숙한 용접 작업을 벗어나 새로운 조건으로 용접을 수행해야 하는 경우도 있다. 이 경우 복잡한 용접 기준과 방법을 전산 정보화 하여 마른 시간에 가장 적합한 용접 방법과 용접 조건을 제공해 줄 수 있다면 현장작업의 합리화에 기여 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 시도로서 연강용접에 국한하여 용접 조건 설정에 관한 전문가의 지식을 전산 정보화 하여 현장 용접 실무자가 쉽게 새로운 용접 조건을 찾는데 도움을 주는 지적 결정 시스템을 구축하고자 하였다.
