  • 본 논문에서는 빛의 세기에 크게 영향을 받지 않고 정밀한 거리 계측과 측정 속도를 대폭 개선할 수 있는 산업용 레이저 거리 계측기를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 5m 단위의 거리 계측에는 비행 펄스 시간 방법을 사용하고, 1mm 단위의 계측에는 헤테로다인 방법을 적용하여, 장거리 계측이 가능하게 함과 동시에 측정 오차 1mm 이내, 측정 거리 1km 이내의 고정밀 거리 계측기를 제안하였다.

  • The Laser distance instrument in past was used mainly with military affairs and the helicopter loaded measures the distance with target and the firing body used in the tank. The military suspicion case measurement distance was scope until of tens km consequently from possibility km and under measuring should have been boiled the low error was 5m husbands and wives. Like this under using should have been boiled the effort was being continued the Laser distance instrument will be able to apply in industry from the present paper hereupon and the usability developed verified.

  • We proposed and implemented new DDC system which overcomes the difficulties including lack of flexibility of modifications of frequency which is the problem of previous frequence oscillator and synchronization. New DDC system can create frequence in two decimal points. Moreover, due to its usage in adjusting to frequence clock which is required by many consumers, laser distance instrument can reduce its error; thus, implementation of system is capable of high precision distance measurement can be performed.

  • 정밀한 계측의 필요성이 높아지면서 레이저는 그 신뢰성과 사용 편의성으로 인해 거리측정에도 높은 활용을 보이고 있다. 레이저 거리측정기(laser range finder, LRF)의 원리는 20ns 미만의 짧은 레이저 펄스를 표적에 발사한 후 반사되어 돌아오는 신호의 시간과 빛의 속도를 곱하여 거리를 계산하는 방식이다. 이러한 반사펄스(pulse-echo techniques)법은 수m-수백만 km까지의 거리측정에 사용되는 방식으로서 정밀하고 빠른 측정이 가능할 뿐 아니라 단지 목표물을 확인하고 측정버튼을 누름으로써 결과를 얻을 수 있는 사용 편의성을 장점으로 한다.(중략)

  • We developed Frequency-shifted feedback laser using AOM inside the cavity. The feedback loop of the laser is formed with the first-order diffracted light of the AOM to output mirror. It is shown that the FSF laser output has spectral output called“chirped frequency comb”with an ultrafast frequency chirp rate of several hundreds of PHz/s. It can know the range using chirped frequency comb in the optical range measurement that is FSF laser as source.

  • In this paper, we propose a development technique of high precision laser finder ranger within instrument distance 1km, instrument error less than 1 m by using pulse time of flight method in the 5m unit instrument and heterodyne method in the within Am unit. These propose methods can be more advanced to measurement velocity and more highly precision distance instrument not affected the strength of light. We also validate this usefulness.

  • Heavy structures such as large roof structures and superbeams were lifted using hydraulic jacks. Moreover, member verticality and horizontality checks were performed at every construction stage to monitor the measuring tapes for their structural safety, using CCTV. When the relative displacement exceeded the predetermined limit, the hydraulic systems were terminated. After adjusting the relative displacement manually, lifting was resumed. The accuracy of the relative displacement was found not to be reliable, however, due to eye check using CCTV, and it took a long time due to manual adjustment. Moreover, real-time monitoring was impossible. To address these problems, the monitoring-evaluation system for the stable lifting of heavy structures was proposed, using the total station of the automatic-target-recognition type, laser-distance-measuring devices, a data logger, a strain gauge, and others. After developing a program for the operation of the system and for the acquisition of data, a mock-up test was conducted in a large-scale structural laboratory to evaluate the accuracy and applicability of the system. The stable acquisition and applicability of data was confirmed in the test.

  • 새로운 원리에 의한 원격 거리 및 각도측정 시스템[1][2](이하 TS, Total Station)을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 마이크로 터널링 공법의 굴진기의 후미 또는 임의의 기준점에 원격으로 점멸할 수 있는 십자형의 발광체를 부착하고, 추진관에 고정시킨 상하좌우 각도측정 및 비접촉식 레이저 거리측정기가 부착된 무인 원격 제어장치에 의하여 십자형 발광체의 중심을 자동으로 검출한다. 또한. 회전각과 CCD 라인 스캔 센서의 조합에 의하여 각도를 정밀하게 원격 측정하게 된다. 한편 본 시스템을 이용하면 마이크로 터널링 공법에 의한 추진관내의 측정 가능한 범위를 연결하는 위치에 복수의 TS를 배치하여 서로의 위치를 자동으로 계측하고 그들 데이터를 컴퓨터에 의하여 계산함으로써, 맨홀의 임의의 기준점으로부터 굴진기의 현재 좌표를 신속하고 정확하게 계산할 수 있다.

  • This paper discusses the development of a Raman lidar system for remote detection and measurement of hydrogen gas by using a photon counter. The Raman signal of the hydrogen gas is very weak and has a very low signal-to-noise ratio. The photon counter has the advantage of improving the signal-to-noise ratio, because it has a discriminator to eliminate the background noise from the Raman signal of the hydrogen gas. Therefore, a small and portable Raman lidar system was developed using a low-power pulsed laser and a photon-counter system to measure the hydrogen gas concentration remotely. To verify the capability of measuring hydrogen gas using the developed photon-counting Raman lidar system, experiments were carried out using a gas chamber in which it is possible to adjust the hydrogen gas concentration. As a result, our photon-counting Raman lidar system is seen to measure a minimum concentration of 0.65 vol.% hydrogen gas at a distance of 10 m.

Field Evaluation of Traffic Wandering Effect on Asphalt Pavement Responses (차량의 횡방향 주행이격에 의한 아스팔트 콘크리트 포장의 응답특성 분석)

  • This paper presents an experimental evaluation of wandering effect on asphalt concrete pavement responses. A laser-based wandering system has been developed and its performance is verified under various field conditions. The portable wandering system composed of two laser sensors with Position Sensitive Devices can allow one to measure the distance between laser sensors and tire edges of moving vehicle. Therefore, lateral position of each wheel on the pavement can be determined in a real time manner. Pavement responses due to different loading paths are investigated using a roll over test which is carried out on one of asphalt surfaced pavements in the Korea Highway Corporation test road. The pavement section (A5) consists of 5 cm thick surface course; 7 cm intermediate course; and 18 mm base course, and is heavily instrumented with strain gauges, vertical soil pressure cells and thermo-couples. From the center of wheel paths, seven equally-spaced lateral loading paths are carefully selected over an 140 cm wandering zone. Test results show that lateral horizontal strains in both surface and intermediate courses are mostly compressive right under the loading path and tensile strains start to develop as the loading offset becomes 40 cm from the wheel path. The development of the vertical stresses in the top layers of subbase and anti-frost is found to be minimal once the loading offset becomes 50 cm.
