A Study on the Prefilter to Protect Overshoot of Active Magnetic Bearing using Integral Type LQR-design Method (적분형 LQR 설계 기법을 이용한 능동자기베어링의 오버슈트 방지용 입력필터에 관한 연구)

  • Active magnetic bearing has been adopted to support the rotor by electomagnetic force without mechanical contact and lubrication process. A property of the control system for magnetic bearing is improved in accordance with making higher system gain. If the control system has integral part, an excessive overshoot response is shown by making higher integral gain. Therefore, this paper suggests a PID control system in order to eliminate the overshoot at the first stage and improve response characteristics to an impact disturbance at the status of levitation. The control gain was obtained by LQR design method which has the structure of I-PD control system in the state space. The PID control system containing prefilter has the same structure as the I-PD control system. Therefore, the PID control system adopted is able to be tuned by LQR design method. Finally, this paper shows the effect of the prefilter on the active magnetic bearing system through response experiments for levitation responses.

A Development of Converting Technology for the Marine Gasoline/CNG Bi-fuel Engine (선박용 가솔린/CNG Bi-fuel 엔진개조 기술 개발)

  • Natural gas, a fossil fuel contained mostly of methane, is one of the cleanest alternative fuels. It can be used in the form of compressed gas(CNG) or liquefied natural gas(LNG) to cars and trucks. And, dedicated natural gas vehicles are designed to run on natural gas only, while Bi-fuel vehicles can also run on gasoline or CNG, especially, bi-fuel can be defined as the simultaneous combustion of two fuels. In this study, converted gasoline marine system to CNG Bi-fuel system which is made up of injector, regulator, tank and ECU is converted. And estimated the fuel system and engine power compared the result with gasoline engine is estimated. As a result, CNG engine shows low exhaust emissions but maxium power is 7% reduced compared to gasoline engine.

Electrical Characteristics of Power Switching Sensor IC fabricated in Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS Process (BCD 프로세스를 이용한 파워 스위칭 센서 IC의 제작과 특성 연구)

  • Power semiconductor devices had been producted with bipolar only processes, but Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS(BCD) processes have been adapted recently to fabricate these devices since most foundry companies have provided BCD processes instead of Bipolar only processes. In this study, Regulator and OP Amp are used as most popular design IPs and BCD processes for the designing are converted from bipolar only processes. Power Switching Sensor(PSS) ICs are designed specifically and fabricated on a silicon chip. The operation results of the packaged chip show the good matching with test results of the simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 12펄스 위상제어 정류기 및 수동 필터와 능동필터로 구성된 KCCH 싸이클로트론 전자석용 고정밀, 고안정 전류 전원장치를 위한 각 구성 부분의 제어 및 설계 특징은 다음과 같다. 12펄스 싸이리스터 컨버터의 출력전압 제어를 위하여 아날로그 phase-locked oscillator 점호방식과 함께 부하에 비해 빠른 동특성을 가지는 내부 전압제어 루프를 구성하여, 입력전원과 변압기의 불평형에 의해 발생하는 저차고조파를 줄어들게 하였다. LC 수동필터와 MOSFET으로 구성된 능동필터를 직렬로 연결하여 출력전압 리플을 허용치 이하로 낮추었다. 12펄스 컨버터 출력전압 리플의 최대 peak-to-peak값이 0.1% 이하가 되도록 수동필터 값을 설계하였으며 설계과정을 제시하였다. 16bit D/A와 A/D에 의해 디지털로 제어되는 pass bank MOSFET 레귤레이터는 출력리플의 slow drift 제어와 설정치 값의 정확한 제어를 가능하게 한다. 또한 MOSFET는 전압 구동형 소자이며 turn-on 전류 도통 시에 양의 저항계수를 갖기 때문에, 첫째 전류 구동소자에 비해 간단한 구동회로를 가지며, 둘째 소자의 병렬 연결이 용이하다는 이점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 전류 전원장치 각 부분의 설계에 대하여 상세한 설계결과를 제시하며, 실험결과를 통하여 제안된 설계방식의 우수한 정적 및 동적 특성을 입증한다.

A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics of Door Module for Vehicle (자동차용 모듈화 도어의 동특성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study presents the design improvement process for door module. Its objective evades the resonance generated at module plate due to the operation of window regulator motor. For this study, the design improvement process is composed of experimental methods having three steps. First step is modal analysis at door assembly status for acquisition of dynamic characteristics which are modal frequency and damping. Second step is a vibration experiment to get the test mode considered an efficiency of window regulator motor. Last step is a vibration measurement by the form of $6{\times}6$ array on module plate. A vibration measurement of $6{\times}6$ array form can be got to three analysis results which are a transfer path of vibration using cross correlation function, a vibration map using OA level and a contribution by frequency band using coherent output power spectrum on module plate. These results are applied to SDM(structural dynamic modification) for design improvement to get around the resonance on module plate by the excitation of window regulator motor.

  • We have designed 5 V/500 mA transless type power module by using semiconductor switching technique, key technique for small size of power supply system. The power module is suitable to a small sized electronic system using a single power supply. It is composed of switching circuit using voltage drop type chopper method, control circuit, voltage detect circuit, and constant voltage circuit, and is fabricated to hybrid-IC type. The switching regulator power supply circuit, designed in this study, has satisfied the electrical characteristics of 5 V/500 mA transless type power module.

  • 온라인 전기자동차는 도로에 매설된 급전선로로부터 유도자계를 통하여 비접촉 방식으로 전기를 집전 받아 정차 및 주행 중에 충전하는 자동차이다. 이러한 비접촉 충전을 위해서는 도로에 매설된 급전 시스템과 차량 하부에 장착된 집전 시스템이 필요하며, 급전 시스템은 다시 급전 인버터와 급전선로로, 집전 시스템은 집전 모듈(pick-up)과 집전 레귤레이터로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 급집전 시스템 각각의 장치를 소개하며, 더불어 구축된 시스템의 성능에 대해서도 소개한다.

  • Currently, automotive industries improve the vehicle performance and reduce the development period of vehicle using each module part for the high quality and performance of vehicles. However each component part doesn't generate the noise and vibration problems, sometime these problems are generated on the assembly status between vehicle chassis frame and each module part. On this study, in order to analysis the dynamic characteristics of a shield door module that is a typical module part of vehicles, the acquisition and evaluation process about the vibration and noise of shield door module is developed. Also the possibility to apply to shield door module of the developed process is verified by the comparison with the dynamic characteristics between plastic and steel module plate.

  • Maritime deck machinery relies heavily on the importation of components produced by overseas companies. Our research defines design parameters for hydraulic winch regulators used in maritime deck machinery. Using Amesim, we were able to conduct 1D modeling, and utilizing CFS then enabled us to create 3D models. These models were analyzed in our research for changes in pressure on each port that resulted from the regulator's spring constant and changes in the primary tension-compression field. Our research then analyzed alterations in traits caused by changes in the length of overlap between the spool and sleeve. Last but not least, our research analyzed the trait alteration resulting from changing the interval between the spool and sleeve. We believe the results of our research can be used to design a hydraulic winch regulator used in maritime deck machinery that does not require importation.

  • This paper investigated the effect of the zero on the right-half-plane on stability in the buck-boost DC-DC converter which is one type of the switching regulator, and the stability region in connection with the output current was shown by evaluating the feed-back gain. From the result it is shown that the stability decreases by the existence of the zero on the right-half-plane. We carried out a compensation by a pole in the feedback circuit and obtained the available stability region in relation to the gain band-width product. These results proved to be the validity by experiment.
