방위산업분야의 항공기용 전자장비는 신뢰성 설계를 위하여 MIL규격이나 실측된 PSD데이터를 이용하여 보수적으로 설계하는 것이 일반적이다. 하나의 프로젝트에서 개발되는 PCB는 수십 종에 이르고 그 장착위치나 설계변경이 병행되므로 PSD랜덤 진동해석의 대안으로 등가정적해석을 수행하게 된다. 등가정적해석결과의 보수성을 확인하기 위하여 PSD랜덤진동해석으로부터 추출된 정규분포를 갖는 각 방향 응력에 대해 Monte Carlo모의를 수행하여 결과를 비교분석하였다. 결론적으로 PSD랜덤진동 해석의 대안으로 등가정적해석결과의 유용성과 보수성을 통계적으로 비교하였고 실험을 통하여 결과의 타당성을 보였다.

In this study, the dynamic environment of satellite consists of excessive vibration at low frequency and irregular acceleration transferred by launch vehicle structure. Excessive vibration at low frequency is generally approximated by a sinusoidal wave from 100Hz to 200Hz and primarily used to preliminary design The random vibration is created by structural vibration due to the combustion of launch vehicle, separation stage and external aerodynamic noise. these are transferred to the adapter structure between satellite and launch vehicle through the structure of launch vehicle. random vibration is being specified for acceptance tests, screening tests, and qualification tests, because it has been shown that random vibration more closely represents the true environments in which the electronic equipment must operate.

The cylindrical Upper Guide Structure assembly of the reactor intervals wish the Core Support Barrel and the Inner Barrel Assembly is subjected to flow induced loads horizontally which include random pressure fluctuation due to turbulent flow and pump pulsation pressures. The purpose of this papers is to perform random vibration and harmonic response analyses fort flow induced loads. The dynamic response characteristics due to random turbulence and pump pulsation loads were evaluated using the lumped mass beam model. Especially the model considered the annulus effects due to water gaps existing between cylindrical structures such as the Upper Guide Structure Barrel, the Core Support Barrel, and the Inner Barrel Assembly. The effect of the Inner Barrel Assembly inside the Upper Guide Structure assembly was studied. The peak dynamic responses lot each loading condition due to the addition of IBA were affected by the natural frequencies of the structures. Therefore the peak dynamic responses of the structures should be conservatively obtained from evaluation of dynamic analysis for various loading conditions.

Aircraft are affected by various vibrations during maneuvering. These vibrations may have a fatal effect on the survival of aircraft in some cases, so the safety of components applied to the aircraft should be proven against various vibrations through random vibration analysis. In this study, the structural robustness of an external fuel tank and pylon for military aircraft was evaluated under random vibration conditions using commercial software, MSC Random. In the random vibration analysis, a frequency response analysis was performed by imposing a unit load on the boundary condition point, and then excitation was performed with a PSD profile. In this process, the required mode data was extracted through a modal analysis method. In addition, the random vibration profile specified in the US Defense Environment Standard was applied as random vibration conditions, and the PSD profile given in units of G's was converted into units of gravitational acceleration. As a result of the numerical analysis, we evaluated the structural robustness of the external fuel tank and pylon by identifying the safety margins of beam elements, shell elements, and solid elements in a numerical model for random vibration in the x, y, and z directions.

In this paper, the structural analysis of the Geostationary Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-2 (GEO-KOMPSAT-2) tubing system is discussed, and the structural integrity of the tubing system is assessed by comparative analysis with the results of overseas partner AIRBUS. Securing structural reliability of the tubing system is a very important key element of the propulsion system of the GEO-KOMPSAT-2 satellite. Therefore, FE modeling of the propulsion tubing was carried out directly using the CAE program, and structural analysis was performed to evaluate the stress state under launch conditions. Hoop stress, axial stress, bending stress, and torsion stress were calculated according to diverse load conditions by using pressure stress analysis, thruster alignment analysis, sine qualification load analysis, and random qualification load analysis. From the results, the Margin of Safety (MoS) of the tubing system is evaluated, and we can verify the structural integrity of the tubing system when subjected to various launch loads.

Random vibration of the coupled identical beams subject to band-limted white noise is studied. The mean-square displacements average dspatially over each beam are derived analytically using two different modal analysis techniques and compared to the results by SEA(Statistical Energy Analysis). It is shown that when frequency is high and a large number of modes are included in the frequency band, the modal analysis methods and the SEA yield the same results provided that the loss factors are very small and the modal separation is much larger than the half-power bandwidth.

Whole composite structure small class (150kg) satellite, STSAT-3, was initially developed in Korea. The structure does have aluminum frames that support the structure, and it is composed of only composite sandwich panels. A number of electronic boxes and mechanical apparatus will be shielded within the compartments built up by the composite panels. This study focused on the random vibration responses of the satellite. For this objective, vibration tests and analyses have been successfully performed with respect to STM (structure and thermal model) of the satellite. Additionally, through the experiment and theoretical analyses, the both results' accuracy was verified by comparison each other.

The Control Element Assembly(CEA) shroud is one of the most important components in the reactor vessel internals for the nuclear power plant. Because of the severe modification from its original design the structural integrity of this component has been questioned. In an attempt to resolve this question, the response of the CEA shroud to a random loading in the actual operating condition is calculated analytically and experimentally and compared to the code allowables to show that it is structurally adequate and acceptable for the long term operation.

The current load combination criteria for design of nuclear power plant structures(NPP) are not based on the probability-based design concept but rely on the conventional design concept. In this paper, a load combination criteria for design of NPP containment structures are proposed based on a FEM-based random vibration analysis. More accurate reliability analyses under various dynamic loads such as earthquake loads were made possible by incorporating the FEM and random vibration theory, which is different from the conventional reliability analysis method, In this paper, the toad factors for the design of NPP structures in Korea are proposed by considering appropriate load combination criteria for design.
