The purpose of this study is to analyze the information service and the design of the information system of LG Science Land and NSDL which was designed as Integrated Information System in Science Digital Library for youth. After that, the requirement and inclination of the system user was analyzed through on-line questionnaire and finally the Subjective-Oriented Directory System was modified in detail as improvement issue of the system. This study has a significance in designing a user-friendly information environment that the youth can access information in science more conveniently and Proving the efficiency of it.

최근 범국가적으로 추진하고 있는 초고속정보통신망 구축 사업과 연계하여, 전통적인 서비스를 제공해오던 기존의 도서관에서는 멀티미디어 서비스를 실현하기 위해 끊임없는 노력을 하고 있다. 이러한 노력은 멀티미디어의 출현에 따라 이용자 요구에 부응하는 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법으로서, 도서관이 소장하고 있는 정보들을 디지털화하고 네트워크와 진보된 통신기반구조를 이용하여 어떠한 형태의 정보라도 장소에 구애받지 않고 이용자에게 제공할 수 있는 디지털 도서관의 등장으로 이어지고 있다. 디지털 도서관의 구축에 따른 기대 효과로서는 시.공간을 초월하여 자료에 대한 서지정보, 원문 및 화상정보 등을 대다수의 이용자에게 제공할 수 있으며, 신속한 정보의 획득과 자료활용의 극대화를 그 예로 들 수 있다. 본 고에서는 미국과 일본을 중심으로 디지털 도서관의 구축 사례들을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 디지털 도서관에서 이용자에게 제공해야 할 서비스에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

Reference services have taken a central place in library and information services. But current digital libraries focus more on access to digital information, and hardly lay emphasis on the service aspects. This paper looks at the current state of research in reference services in digital libraries. It first analyses some representative definitions of digital reference services. It then provides a brief overview of the various online reference and information services currently available on the Web. The paper also reviews the types of the digital reference service in major 'Aska' service sites. Finally, the paper proposes new digital reference service model that specifically bases on the sharing of the human and information.

For National Digital Library(NDL) to properly perform it's ideal function as a representative digital library in Korea, information service policy considering the IT and Ubiquitous environment shall be established. Information service policy of NDL was established with focus group interviews and a survey targeting the users and librarians in this study. To raise the propriety of information service policy, final draft of information service policy was proposed after the interim evaluation targeting the concerned parties of NDL and 1st & 2nd verification by external specialists and the consultation group. In this manner, vision, mission, goal, objective, strategy, etc of information service policy of NDL were proposed. Information service policy of NDL proposed in this study not only proposes the fact and base to other digital libraries that wishes to establish the information service policy and arrange detailed guidelines as a case study but also secures the direction and vision of global information service policy of NDL. Furthermore, it will contribute for NDL to build its reputation as a world renowned digital library.

항해 안전 강화 및 자율운항선박 대응을 위하여 디지털 항로표지 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 해양 상황 및 선박 맞춤의 디지털 항로표지 서비스 연구를 수행하였다. 선박 맞춤의 항로표지 생성을 위한 해양 상황 정보 및 선박 위치 정보 수집 방법과 서버와 단말간의 디지털 항로표지 정보 제공 방안이 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 따라 서비스 표준 및 부처의 시스템을 활용하여 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 대하여 검토하였다. 국립해양측위정보원에서는 GICOMS에서 제공하는 선박 및 항로표지 정보를 수집하고 있으며, 이 시스템과 연동하여 디지탈 항로표지를 생성을 수행할 수있다. 또한 서비스 제공을 위하여 AIS 및 S-100 기반의 서비스 제공 표준이 있으며, 이 표준을 활용하여 서비스 제공이 가능할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 서비스 제공을 위한 시스템을 제안하였으며, 실내 시험을 통하여 기능을 점검하였다. 추후 실외시험을 통하여 실제 시스템 구성 운영을 검증하며, GICOMS 연동의 가상 항로표지 방송 시스템을 구성하여 AIS 서비스 제공 방안에 대하여 검토할 예정이다.

Digital curation can be said that the new information management and services in the digital age. In terms of exploring the systematic management and services for the information resources in the digital environment, Digital curation is one the core areas of library and information science. This study was set up a research areas as a result of reviewing the related literatures, and analyzed the research trends to the scholarly articles retrieved from a representative databases in the areas of Library and Information Science (LISTA). Also, I suggested future research agendas for digital curation in the areas of library and information science based on the results of the this analysis.

This study examines basic concepts and characteristics of QuestionPoint, the typical model of Collaborative Digital Reference Service and Global Reference Network, and analyzes the case of Question포인트 service at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information where the service is initiated first time in Korea by developing Korean interface. 114 reference questions were analyzed, and questionnaires were sent to 63 service users to find out their overall attitudes and degree of satisfaction. Some suggestions were made by discussing the necessity of the enhancement of CDRS and mutual cooperation among Korean libraries.

This study investigates the IPI (Information Protection Intention) of DHS (Digital Healthcare Service) providers by introducing PMT (Protection Motivation Theory). This study examines the effects of protection motivation, such as threat appraisal and coping appraisal, on IPI, such as ICI(Induction Control Intention) and SDI(Self Defense Intention). The research model, based on the PMT, adopted severity, vulnerability, reaction efficacy and self-efficacy as independent variables. The research model was validated through quantitative research, a survey of 222 DHS providers in South Korea, using structural equation modeling. The results show that (1) a clear awareness of the consequences of security threats increases the understanding of DHS providers on the severity of closure of healthcare information, and thus may decreases abuse of DHS by providers; (2) user confidence and satisfaction on the security system may make them be confident that they can handle the closure of healthcare information by themselves; and (3) although DHS providers are realizing the consequences of closure of healthcare information, they think that they are unlikely to encounter such situations. As a result of this study, venture companies that provide DHS need to provide contents that can continuously increase providers' security level in order to increase providers' information protection intention. It suggests that IPI is important through trust of healthcare service providers.

Recently scholarly information service institutes as well as public institutes have provided their holding resources to the other institutes and end users in order to reuse the information and create new value. Information providing subjects should stipulate the dissemination policy of digital contents for ensuring its consistent and efficient service. This study aims to establish the dissemination policy of digital contents for scholarly information service institutes focusing on NDSL. This study researches and analyzes the cases of the digital contents service policy and the dissemination policy to draw main components of the policy for NDSL. As a result, this study suggests goals and objectives, target users, coverage, dissemination methods, requests, agreement and MOU of utilization for the dissemination policy of NDSL.

지난해 12월 개소한 TTA 디지털방송시험센터에서는 디지털 위성방송 시험$\cdot$인증 서비스에 이어 디지털 지상파방송 시험$\cdot$인증 서비스를 위한 테스트베드를 구성할 예정이다. 현재 디지털 지상파방송은 오디오/비디오를 위주로 서비스되고 있지만 6월 월드컵 때 각 방송사들은 DASE(DTV Application Software Environment)를 이용한 데이터방송 실험 서비스를 실시한 바 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 제조업체 및 사업자의 방송장비 개발지원 및 시험 서비스를 위하여 디지털 지상파 데이터 방송까지를 고려한 디지털 지상파 시험·인증 서비스 테스트베드 환경 및 구성 등에 대하여 고찰한다.
