We This study aimed to quantitatively analyze the theme of 'libertinage' and the associated issues of reason and emotion in 『Dangerous Liaisons』, a novel considered a masterpiece of libertine literature and an epistolary novel of the 18th century, using digital analysis tools. First, based on the frequency analysis of word usage using Voyant and LIWC 22, we confirmed that libertinage is manifested with keywords such as 'love' and 'time'. With Voyant's 'Contexts' feature, it was found that the letters sent by Valmont to Madame de Tourvel and those sent by Madame de Merteuil both have 'love' as the central theme. However, emotional vocabulary was higher in the former, whereas strategic vocabulary was more prevalent in the latter. Additionally, it was observed that the most frequently used word in the letters sent by Madame de Merteuil is 'time', with a higher frequency than 'love'. Thirdly, using LIWC 22, we measured the analytical thinking and emotional tone of the letters exchanged by the main characters, and analyzed how these values changed according to the chapters. Through these analyses, we confirmed that this novel, alongside Rousseau's "New Eloise," anticipates romanticism by embracing the theme of 'emotion,' which was rejected by 18th-century Enlightenment ideals.

This is a study of the digital archives of Culturecontent.com where 'Cultural Archetype Contents' are currently in service. One of the major purposes of our study is to point out problems in the current system and eventually propose improvements to the digital archives. The government launched a four-year project for developing the cultural archetype content sources and establishing its related business with the hope of enhancing the nation's competitiveness. More specifically, the project focuses on the production of source materials of cultural archetype contents in the subjects of Korea's history. tradition, everyday life. arts and general geographical books. In addition, through this project, the government also intends to establish a proper distribution system of digitalized culture contents and to control copyright issues. This paper analyzes the digital archives system that stores the culture content data that have been produced from 2002 to 2005 and evaluates the current system's weaknesses and strengths. The summary of our findings is as follows. First. the digital archives system does not contain a semantic search engine and therefore its full function is 1agged. Second, similar data is not classified into the same categories but into the different ones, thereby confusing and inconveniencing users. Users who want to find source materials could be disappointed by the current distributive system. Our paper suggests a better system of digital archives with text mining technology which consists of five significant intelligent process-keyword searches, summarization, clustering, classification and topic tracking. Our paper endeavors to develop the best technical environment for preserving and using culture contents data. With the new digitalized upgraded settings, users of culture contents data will discover a world of new knowledge. The technology we introduce in this paper will lead to the highest achievable digital intelligence through a new framework.

User's sensitivity is recognized as a very important parameter for communication between company, government and personnel. Especially in many studies, researchers use voice tone, voice speed, facial expression, moving direction and speed of body, and gestures to recognize the sensitivity. Multiplex modality is more precise than single modality however it has limited recognition rate and overload of data processing according to multi-sensing also an excellent algorithm is needed to deduce the sensing value. That is as each modality has different concept and property, errors might be happened to convert the human sensibility to standard values. To deal with this matter, the sensibility expression modality is needed to be extracted using technologies like analyzing of relational network, understanding of context and digital filter from multiplex modality. In specific situation to recognize the sensibility if the priority modality and other surrounding modalities are processed to implicit values, a robust system can be composed in comparison to the consuming of computer resource. As a result of this paper, it is proposed how to assign the weight of multiplex modality using implicit data.

After the industrial revolution, the design concepts have established by the basis of the ornament and styling and emphasized in the respect of characteristics of the art and manufacture. On the other side, theoretical research part of design has neglected. But, the modem concepts of design is changing into new concept that shares the attributes of various sides of sociology, cultural sciences, engineering and business adminstration study. In accordance with the change of design concept, the utility frequency of the statistical method is increasing in the ares of design. In this paper, we evaluated the adequacy of statistical method of the design papers that were published in the Journal of Korean Society of Design Science.

This article described relations between knowledge contents for culture contents. Knowledge contents include academic article, research report, digital replica for old books and digital cultural heritages with a high level of abstraction and complexity. The process of digitalization sets up the clearinghouse for information and knowledge of humanities which can be a critical resource for cultural contents development. Knowledge contents are deliverable of knowledge-information hierarchies. The knowledgeinformation resource management plan doing by Korean Studies Advancement Center shows the most of the hierarchies. As a result, this paper shows that the process of knowledge-information development and the process of cultural contents development are in a series of continuous process.With the help of information technology.

In this paper, we proposes to develop an online academic vocabulary dictionary as a way of educating academic vocabulary for content-oriented Korean language education. Various academic languages exist in the content-based Korean language teaching materials they encounter when studying at university. You cannot understand or produce academic text without knowing the academic vocabulary. Therefore, one of the tasks of Korean language education has become to improve educational efficiency by preparing a method for academic vocabulary education that is most suitable for them in consideration of their own. Prior to the development of the online academic vocabulary dictionary, the institute conducted a basic study on how the content should be contained in the online dictionary. Online academic vocabulary dictionaries allow students to naturally link their limited education into and out of the classroom, thereby overcoming the limitations of vocabulary education at the educational scene and maximizing their educational effectiveness.

The recent trend shows that the number of internet users among older adults and their level of the ability to use internet have been increased. The purpose of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of senior information technology. Using qualitative descriptive method, this study aims to explore how and in which context older adults use internet. It also aims to address the nature and the outcomes of elderly people's use of internet in their daily lives. In-depth interviews with 16 older participants were analyzed with qualitative content analysis and constant comparison method. The finding shows as follows: (1) agonies felt by the "ambiguous" age group in the modern society, (2) the analogue generation joining the digital, (3) daily changes according to the internet use, (4) senior information technology and its flip side of coin. Based on the research findings, implications for senior information policy are addressed in three ways: promoting productive use of internet among older adults, meeting their health-related concerns using internet, and finding ways to integrate the idea of humanities into senior information technology.

Due to the variety of tourist attractions, many people of the world are visiting annually in Mediterranean area. In this paper, we analyze Mediterranean tourism impact by specific events such as the Arab Spring. In details, we make several density maps based on the position and time information of the geo-tagged photos extracted from Panoramio which is a representative photo sharing website. These density maps should be used to analyze how can specific events affect on Mediterranean tourism. To do this, first, a spatial database is constructed using geo-tag and time information of photo data extracted from Panoramio. Using GIS tool, then, several density maps are produced after performing density process based on spatial databases. Based on these density maps, finally, we analyze visually on Mediterranean tourism impact according to before, progress, and after of the Arab Spring.

Recently, various studies related to ICT convergence have been made. Recently, various studies related to ICT convergence have been made. In the academic field, the demand for ICT convergence is on the rise. For example, Digital Humanities and Area Informatics are representative. Area Studies means to study the culture of a specific area in an integrated way. In this regard, researchers who specialize in researching overseas area generally use websites to obtain information related to the area. The Multilingual Mediterranean Web Service System(MMWS), which is operated by the Institute for Mediterranean Studies of Busan University of Foreign Studies is a web site that provides professional and general information to researchers or ordinary people studying in the Mediterranean area among overseas area. In this paper, we analyzeoverseas web sites the MMWS and discuss how to activate web sites based on the analysis results. In details, it analyze MMWS through log analysis and use Google Analytics, a log analysis system provided by Google for analysis. Also study how to use ICT convergence contents as a website activation method.

As a form of convergence studies, many studies on electronic cultural atlas have been performed. In this paper, our objective is to design an electronic cultural atlas for utilizing photo contents based on display and sharing effect. This is one of the ways to effectively use various photo contents. Through electronic cultural atlas, photo contents are recognized as an object that contains a lot of information. To do this, we design an electronic cultural atlas for utilizing photo contents, and investigate the utilization differences through comparison with existing systems. In detail, we examine the limits of the traditional photo exhibition method, and research on usability of users when an electronic cultural atlas was used to exhibit and share the photos contents efficiently.
