In recent years, as the importance of history has increased through various social issues, media, and journalists in Korea, it has led to the value of 'right history' and 'teaching history that is right. History of a country is also a core asset in a country 's cultural contents industry, and historical relics are important to prove its value. As the interest in the historical and cultural heritage has increased, researches to develop it as cultural contents by restoring it as information and communication technology such as multimedia and virtual reality are active. In this paper, we propose convergence device and contents that can provide rich experience and various learning opportunities in artifact experience through restoration of artifacts using augmented reality. The study on the application effect of educational game contents which can add fun can be continued.

The beginning of digitization activities in the National Library of the Czech Republic are interconnected with the first periods of existence of the UNESCO Memory of the World programme. It was in 1992 when the library accepted the UNESCO proposal to prepare a pilot CD ROM publication for the programme showing the most precious items from its collections. In 1993 - 1995, the publication was followed by two another titles, which presented two medieval manuscripts in their entirety, providing both all the image documentation and scientific description of various features of the original documents. The digitization centre specialized in processing of old manuscripts and old printed books in co operation with the Czech AIP Beroun Company. Nowadays, these two national programmes in which dozens of Czech and also several foreign institutions take part - are represented on their access side by two digital libraries: Manuscriptorium and Kramerius.

This study designed a data model linked to Wikidata and examined its applicability to increase the utilization of the digital archive records of the National Debt Redemption Movement, registered as World Memory Heritage, and implications were derived by analyzing the existing metadata, thesaurus, and semantic network graph. Through analysis of the original text of the National Debt Redemption Movement records, key data model classes for linking with Wikidata, such as record item, agent, time, place, and event, were derived. In addition, by identifying core properties for linking between classes and applying the designed data model to actual records, the possibility of acquiring abundant related information was confirmed through movement between classes centered on properties. Thus, this study's result showed that Wikidata's strengths could be utilized to increase data usage in local archives where the scale and management of data are relatively small. Therefore, it can be considered for application in a small-scale archive similar to the National Debt Redemption Movement digital archive.

Digilog Book lets users feel analog book and digital contents by combining each advantage of analog sensibility and digital sensation. This paper mentions about technical details for implementing an example of Digilog book: a temple bell experience system. Our system includes providing multisensory feedback to users, substituting fiducial marker with figure marker, presenting visual effect when a temple bell appearing on a 2D plane, pushing augmented buttons using bare fingers for observation of the bell, and lastly pointing a specific part of the bell for obtaining description on that part. The implemented temple bell experience system can motivate users to experience cultural heritages of our country as educational contents.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined exercise program on fall-related physical fitness and pain response in elderly people. Fall-related physical fitness consisted of the 7 performance test items by Senior Fitness Test Manual. Pain response was measured by visual analog scale (VAS sore: 0=no pain, 10=extremely unsatisfactory). The combined exercise program was performed for about one hour per day, 4 times a week over a period of 10 weeks. As the result of this study, flexibility, agility, and right balance were significantly increased. The various characteristics of pain were considerably improved on pain symptom, leg pain when walking, pain symptom when sitting, and pain symptom in daily living. In conclusion, there has been a substantial improvement in 10 weeks by combined exercise program.

The Cultural Heritage Committee is an important organization that has been deliberating on important matters related to the preservation of cultural properties in the Republic of Korea for more than 60 years since 1962. The Cultural Heritage Preservation Committee was active in 1961, which was a short period of about a year, but the minutes prepared at the time confirmed that it had the following meanings. First of all, legally, it was meaningful in that the concept of cultural property or intangible cultural property was used for the first time in Korea in laws and regulations on the term of office of professional members. These matters became the basis for the operation of the current Cultural Heritage Protection Act and the Cultural Heritage Committee. The following confirms that, unlike previously known activities, they were active despite political upheaval at the time. In spite of rapid regime change at the time, the committee had no change in its members, and the meetings continued without interruption. At that time, there was an exclusive relationship between different groups in relation to the preservation of cultural heritage, and this relationship was confirmed by the minutes that disappeared with the establishment of the Cultural Heritage Management Bureau, which integrated these groups. Finally, the form of the minutes prepared then shows the form of documentation at the time, where it is confirmed that the traditional documentation format is changing into a new form. It can be good research material in terms of modern and contemporary bibliography. As discussed earlier, the Cultural Heritage Conservation Committee of 1961 has historical significance in terms of legal and actual activities. The reason why the committee's activities were low valued is presumed to be that the minutes and related documents prepared at the time were not organized well due to the lack of a related administrative system. The minutes of the Cultural Heritage Conservation Committee record various facts about cultural heritage policies and decisions at that time. Therefore, analysis and research on these contents can reveal more facts about the cultural heritage policies and perceptions of that time.

This paper summarizes some of the contents of the 7th International Symposium "Classical Art and Digital" of the Transmedia Institute(TMI), held on October 31, 2017. The purpose of this year's International Symposium was to look back on the genre and the aesthetic history of classical art and to create a place for discourse about the recognition of classical art in the modern digital era. In the first part of the discussion about the duplication of the original and virtual imitation, three presentations on "Visual Image Art and Digital" were introduced. The conclusion of this first discussion is summarized by urging the movement of viewpoint as 'systematic change of the routine aesthetic process'. In the second part on "Performing Arts and Digital", we realize that we need to definitize the 'new directive term system' necessary for the era of digital convergence and performance. In this process we can refer to the need for the emergence of a new aesthetic basis. Two papers in the second part of the paper will introduce the study of 'dance' performance. Some of these studies are reintroduced at the conclusion. The theme of this year's International Symposium can be expected to provide a foothold for the forthcoming second 'Laocoon sculpture argue'. In short, behind the various controversies in the history of aesthetics, this year's conference is concluded with a call for the need to flexibly read the enormous flow of 'art' and 'mental heritage left by art'. It is said that this year's international conferences are presenting the basis of practical and systematic theories for the upcoming fusion media era.

Although digitization contributes to the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage resources, detailing the necessary techniques is a lack of standardization in existing digital repositories. The purpose of this paper is to present practical strategies to illustrate technical details of imaging processes and metadata description with examples. This paper also provides important management issues related to digitization management for project managers and practitioners.

한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 주관하는 2004년 제1차 공공기관 우수 데이터베이스(DB) 시상식이 지난달 20일 한국관광공사빌딩 지하 강당에서 개최됐다. 지난해 통계∙기상∙기업∙법률∙특허 등 5개 분야 DB 10종을 우수DB로 선정한 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올해 공공기관 DB를 대상으로 우수DB 6종을 선정했다. 이번에 선정된 공공기관 우수DB 6종은 재정경제부, 문화관광부, 산업자원부, 건설교통부와 산하 공 공기관에서 운영하고 있는 데이터베이스 가운데 건설교통, 경제산업, 문화예술 등 3개 분야에서 품질이 우수한 각 2종씩의 DB가 선정됐다. 건설∙교통 분야에서는 한국도로공사의‘로드플러스’와 건설교통부의‘건설교통종합정보센터’가 선정됐고, 경제∙산업 분야에서는 조달청의‘나라장터’와 한국은행의‘경제통계시스템’, 문화∙예술 분야에서는 한국관광공사의‘Visit Korea’와 문화재청의‘국가문화유산종합정보서비스’가 선정됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올 11월경 정보통신, 교육학술, 과학기술분야를 대상으로 제2차 우수 DB를 선정할 계획이며, 자세한 내용은 데이터베이스품질평가센터(www.dbq.or.kr)에서 소개하고 있다.

Interoperability and collaborations have become essential factors for developing a digital library. TEL, the European Library, is a new Pan-European service which gives access to the combined resources of the national libraries in Europe, and also TEL is the name of a project to implement TEL service. The vision of TEL stems from the characteristics that the national libraries offer, which is the comprehensiveness of collection, the national libraries' holdings of outstanding historical and special collection, reliability of information and high quality. Moreover, the national libraries are in a unique position to invest in creating added value to the digitized documents and to show the cultural diversity between EU members. From the viewpoint of digital library techniques, TEL explored some advanced methodologies to guarantee the interoperability between heterogenious collections and libraries. In this study, we examine the development of TEL including publisher relations, metadata developments, and retrieval features.
